On ‘Wilkow!’ Wednesday Andrew was joined by Jessica Mindich, the founder of Jewelry for a Cause, a company that is making jewelry from old and illegal gun parts. Watch a clip from Tuesday’s show where Jessica tells Andrew about her work with Newark Mayor Corey Booker and her alternative approach to getting illegal weapons off the street. But she also revealed the hidden meaning behind the name, “Caliber Collection”:

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 7:53pmIt all balances out, because I make automatic assault rifles and silencers out of old jewelry.

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 3:20pmWhat you should do is make Jewelry from gun parts with the number of a concentration camp Jew that was slaughtered cause they were too stupid to own a gun. Call it DumbA$$ Jewelry. With each piece of Jewelry, you’ll get a picture of the stupid Jew that handed in their gun(s), and maybe a small jar of ashes.

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 9:45amSounds like she doesn’t know the difference between guns obtained from buybacks and guns confiscated from criminal prosecutions as she seems to be using them interchangeably in the interview. Buy back guns may or may not be “illegal.” I have seen guns in one jurisdiction turned in by widows who did not want them after their husbands died. I have also seen guns turned in in D.C. that were totally useless, partial guns yet the thugs got good money for them and the fools conducting the buyback programs thought they were doing something significant. I have never seen a good handgun or rifle turned in by anyone other than what appeared to be a law abiding person. Thugs were always turning in junk worth far less than what they got for them.

Those who beat their swords into plowshares, WILL PLOW for those who do not.
It’s as simple as that.

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 10:52amright on! 1 Sam 13:19 Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:
20But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.
21 Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.
22 So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.
History does indeed repeat itself.

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 9:30amHow do you buy BACK something you never owned in the first place?
Are we now accepting that the government owns all guns and just allows us to pay for and hold on to them until they want them back?
