Music Star John Legend Joins MSNBC Host in Mocking Black Rush Limbaugh Fan on Twitter

Black Republicans, reports have shown, often face even more vicious condemnation from some on the left than the so-called “Tea baggers” and “bitter clingers.” When black actress Stacey Dash endorsed Mitt Romney before the 2012 presidential election, Twitter exploded with vile insults for the star, calling her an “indoor slave” and a litany of curse words.
On Tuesday morning, MSNBC host Touré and celebrated singer John Legend had some mocking words for black Rush Limbaugh fans. And while the comments weren’t as vulgar as what Dash received, their still smacked of condescension.
It began when Touré tweeted: “Being tweeted at by a Black Rush Limbaugh diehard fan is always fun.”
Legend responded: “You gotta respect that person’s tolerance for cognitive dissonance.” (His tweet appears to have since been deleted).

(Photo: Twitter/@Toure)
For those who haven’t brushed up on psychology in a while, cognitive dissonance is “a conflict resulting from incongruous beliefs and attitudes held simultaneously.” In this case, those incongruous beliefs are presumably being black and being a Rush Limbaugh fan.
Touré concluded by retweeting Legend’s response, adding that he isn’t able to “respect” the fans: “I wish I could!”

(Photo: Twitter/@Toure)
Back in October, Touré claimed the GOP is “an all white party” that is “hostile to blacks.”
Twitchy concluded:
“Listening to Limbaugh while black? Heresy! Clearly the poor dears don’t know what’s good for them like Legend does…And there’s liberal tolerance in a nutshell: No respect for individuality. No respect for different opinions. And definitely no respect for black Americans who refuse to kowtow to leftist thought police like Touré and Legend.”

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 12:19pmBlacks like Toure’ are too stupid to realize they ARE the “House Negroes”. They do what the democrats tell them to say, do, even eat, like “good boys”. Being half black and hispanic, the black community is a joke and has no credibility when they allow this kind of think to carry on. Blacks in this country have no honor, no pride, no respect, and no responsibility. They wonder why we not as white vs black, but as a country have little to no respect for them. Dr. King, Medgar Evers, Rosa Parks, and many more would be ASHAMED of the black community today. They would be ashamed of Obama as well. Of course no one says this out loud because liberals aka facists would say this is racist. Well if the truth is racist then thats what I am.

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 2:02pm@fight….while I agree with you on what you just posted, equally as bad is the nasty insistance of many whites on calling some ‘red necks’, ‘trailer trash’, etc to describe white people. This kind of sniping because of one ‘class’ of peoples’ intolerance of another so-called ‘lower class’ people needs to stop. This country is supposed to be about freedom and equality for all with no class distinctions nor distinctions by color or how rich one might be. We have had a turbulant history of learning lessons to offer equality and fairness without removing freedoms from individuals, so why are we falling back into the awfull uncivilized actions of predjudice and intolerance? We have got to stop this on all levels of our American society and respect ourselves as Americans without a hypen in our ethnicity, which makes no difference if you are truly counting yourself as an American.

Or maybe Neiman means that only sometimes you should judge on the basis of the activity and conduct and other times ignore that conduct and activity. Remember that being PC is a very treacherous maze, a labyrinth of tricks, traps, conditions and exceptions.

Racism:
1
: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2
: racial prejudice or discrimination
A person of any race can be racist towards another.

All mass movements, as one might expect, slip with the greatest of ease down an inclined plane made up of large numbers. Where the many are, there is security; what the many believe must of course be true; what the many want must be worth striving for, and necessary, and therefore good. In the clamour of the many resides the power to snatch wish-fulfilments by force; sweetest of all, however, is that gentle and painless slipping back into the kingdom of childhood, into the paradise of parental care, into happy-go-luckiness and irresponsibility. All the thinking and looking after are done from the top; to all questions there is an answer, and for all needs the necessary provision is made. The infantile dream-state of the mass man is so unrealistic that he never thinks to ask who is paying for this paradise. The balancing of accounts is left to a higher political or social authority, which welcomes the task, for its power is thereby increased; and the more power it has, the weaker and more helpless the individual becomes.
Whenever social conditions of this type develop on a large scale, the road to tyranny lies open and the freedom of the individual turns into spiritual and physical slavery.

There is a lot to be afraid of, when thinking of liberals in general and barry in particular. Whereas you are concerned, we’re not afraid of you, just disgusted with you and yours. Take your BS to the phsychic friends network, where your prognostications will likely be more acceptable, with your accuracy probably not. Here, we don’t care for the smell of your BS. As far as John Legend is concerned, he is celebrated for his legendary stupidity. It wasn’t until now that I am to understand the whoopie cushion sounds coming from his rear end qualified him as a singer. The only song, I;m aware of, associated with this nut is the ‘musical fruit theme song.’

Actually, one of the gentleman, from Detroit, said some nasty things about my Philipino wife in front of the shop, “I know why you married your wife, no Black woman would have you.” That comment got him escorted out of the military. But the funny thing is he was talking to me at lunch one day and asked me what my family thought about my wife. I told him, I don’t care what they think, this is the woman I love and if they can’t accept that, I don’t need to talk to them, but everyone in my family loves her. He couldn’t understand that because he said, if he brought home anyone except a black woman, his family would disown him. That is sad, but it shows the thinking in the black community.

Perhaps TMI, but I shoot tape for part of my living… By the time things progressed to front porch shotgun/rottie action, we were by-passing the local city pd and calling the troopers for more serious incidents and told our neighbors to try the same-it started to work after a while. I was shot at before and it took 9 minutes for responders and they had me disarm for their safety of course, on my property…This was in a part of town where the pd hides on major holidays so as to not become targets. Things settled, as a Benelli and rottie will often do to certain scenarios. My biggest fear for a few years was dropping a 13 year old getting his props for the newest gang initiation on me, my property, or family. Aside from fun on the home front, most issues I ever faced were with meth head read necks out in the sticks with zero positive upbringing. Those decent poor old retirees have close to no options. So many of our inner cities are going the way of detroit and chi-town. Have had pretty serious issues in small town apalachia where the white, red necks rule-same crap, different color. Civility is just about pushing up daisies and we are stuck with nothing but dividers as a ruling class.

Posted on February 27, 2013 at 11:34amah yes, the acceptable racism of the Left: you cannot be a real person of color if you do not believe as we do and hate the same people we do.
it amazes me the Left will consciously tear down Condaleeza Rice or Herman Cain and then turn around and pretend that non-racially motivated statements are entirely based on race… don’t agree with the President’s socialist agenda? Racist. Don’t agree with American foreign policy? Racist. Don’t believe that raising taxes on those already paying the most in order to give more to people who are not trying to work at the available jobs? Racist.
In fact, deciding not to support Legend in future projects or performances based on his behavior here? Watch out, that will be called racist, too.
