Exclusive Pictures from Inside the ‘Duck Dynasty’ Premiere Party (Yes, Uncle Si Did Bring His Own Cup)
All week we’ve been doing “Duck Dynasty” stories to coincide with the show’s season three premiere on Wednesday. And just like us, you seem to love the bearded brothers (and father and uncle and wives). So today we bring you a special treat: exclusive pictures from inside the Robertsons’ premiere party as they — like many of you — watched the season’s first episodes on A&E.
And if you needed any other excuse to like the boys from the bayou, get a load of this: despite their success and fame, the family didn’t reserve a swanky, exclusive wine bar at a fancy restaurant — instead they crashed the party room at the local West Monroe, LA, Buffalo Wild Wings (which happens to be this author’s favorite restaurant). Take a look at the scene that unfolded Wednesday night as the family tuned into the show:
One local news crew was allowed video access. You can watch their report here (which includes Uncle Si giving credit to “the Almighty).
Our pictures come from Ryan Howard who, despite his last name and clean-shaven face, is actually part of the family. Howard is the brother of Willie’s wife, Korie. See the resemblance?
“We laughed so hard you could hardly hear the next line!” Ryan told TheBlaze about the viewing party.
“They crack up the entire time,” he added regarding how the family usually reacts when watching the show. “Korie is usually in stitches and can’t catch her breath. They are all such great sports and just laugh at themselves, very humble and no pride.”

Posted on February 28, 2013 at 3:15pmPhil mentioned the 100′s of women who want to marry Si. I get it! IMHO it seems women would want to be a part of their family and because they never show Si’s wife he seemed a way to enter. I am not surprised at all that people from all over “drop by” just to say hi. People might be craving that family feeling they get by watching and want to be part of it. You just get the feeling they would be the type to welcome you to their table. Of course with millions of viewers it would be impossible for them to do so.
Hope all this fame doesn’t change them too much!

Posted on February 28, 2013 at 2:26pm“Redneck TV” is primarily structured by it’s producers to provide objects of ridicule and derision to the audience. See the dumb rich rednecks, sort of like monkeys in the zoo. It’s a sad commentary on the state of television in America.
And I wish more people saw it for the negative impact the shows have on Louisiana where many of the recent reality show freaks happen to have been from.

Posted on February 28, 2013 at 4:10pmListen to you, I dare say it’s individuals like you that are the reason for the sad state of America. Just do a little research. I see a wholesome family that work and live for a single purpose, their success through faith. I would be careful to pass judgement upon others so quickly. Go watch your Bachelor and sulk.

Posted on February 28, 2013 at 12:42pmHere we are drowning in plastic meaningless pop/pulp culture like; American Idol, Mob Wives, Wives of ******, TMZ and MSM ‘network news’ and along comes Duck Dynasty.
By leaps and bounds the absolute best reality show on TV.
Clinging to their bibles, guns and GOD this American family proves that hard work, faith, love and family loyalty is just enough to live ‘off the grid’ free of the destructive death grip of political correctness and the stink of government.
Yes, “Happy, Happy, Happy”….was the way this country used to be.
Long before the advent of modern progressivism.
May GOD continue to bless The Robertson’s.

Posted on February 28, 2013 at 1:11pmSQUIDVETOHIO, I was sitting there watching that too, and in my mind I thought Poodle, then had to laugh when the camera focused on it. Poodles were originally bred as water borne retrievers, then got wussified later. Hope to see it in a later show with all of it’s hair grown out to the same length. Yes, poodles have hair as I have been corrected a number of times in the past. No, we do not have a poodle, but a Golden mix. I have just been told many times in the past what really good bird dogs they are.

Posted on February 28, 2013 at 11:38amYou know it’s said that people usually watch reality shows to feel superior to those idiots that they watch on the shows. But not in this case. I often times find myself feeling inferior to these people. Which is why i like it so much. They are good roll models to look up to. I will not put them on a pedistal because, after all, they are human. But they are the type of people i would hang out and be friends with.

There are purist out there when it comes to chili who will put almost anything in it, but declare if there is any kind of bean in it, then it ain’t chili. Been to a few chili cook offs where that has been the rule, NO BEANS! I love it with beans myself.
