‘Kill That Baby!’: Viral Vid of ‘Abortion Battles’ Showing Students Trying to Stab Mock Balloon Fetuses Sparks Outrage

Students at Hunter College in New York City are under fire after they posted a video on the Internet showing them partaking in an eyebrow-raising game. The clip shows the group playing “Abortion Battles” — the title of which gives clues to its contentious attributes.

The activity, which has captured the ire of anti-abortion advocates, involves wearing an inflated balloon under one’s shirt. Then, opponents face-off with plastic forks in an effort to pop one another’s faux fetuses.

The uploaded clip, which was apparently captured in the Hunter College cafeteria, was posted to YouTube and subsequently went viral on Wednesday. The individuals depicted in it can be seen with plastic forks — the tool they use to “attack” one another, WCBS-TV reports.

Here’s a report from WPIX-TV that further explains the video’s contents:

Students can be heard yelling, “Kill that baby! Just do it!” among other sentiments.

In a video description on the original clip, accompanying text read, ”We were introduced to this epic game called ‘Abortion Battles.’ It’s somewhat unorthodox, but it’s really fun! Lol!.”

A Hunter College spokesperson told the Post that the college is investigating the incident and that it was not something the school had sanctioned or supported.

“It seems to have been something spontaneous that took place in the cafeteria,” she told the outlet.

      To bad there wasn’t a student that took a balloon and put small doll parts and red kool aid in a ballon so when it burst open looked like a real abortion. I wonder if that would have influenced these low information students?

      Get a grip folks, it’s just a game. It’s not a baby, it’s a balloon. When they play pin the tail on the donkey, no actual donkeys are being stabbed. Badminton does not involve any harm to real birds. When you play chess, no real live foot soldiers are sacrificed to protect an aristocratic ruling elite. These kids aren’t stabbing real fetuses, they’re popping balloons.

      In regards to your examples of other games which involve fantasy violence or death, fair enough.

      But it makes me think: nobody was hurt when the kid threw an imaginary grenade at imaginary enemies. But he was punished over it. When these students stab each other in the belly with REAL forks (plastic or not, they can seriously wound a person if its wielder misses the balloon) to “abort” balloons, it’s all just a game.

      I guess if they were pretending to shoot each other in the belly using their fingers as guns, then we’d have a problem.

      First of all, I’m against those kind of stupid rules that punish kids for playing. Even more importantly, you’re talking about rules imposed on grammar school children and this story is about people in college. It’s hardly the same thing

    This ordeal happened at Hunter College because some Liberal Professor thought it would be cute to pull such a stunt. Maybe because so few people have ever heard of the radical college. This same bunch are probably anti-Second Amendment and probably also held a “candlelight” vigil for those other babies killed in Newtown. What a wonderful bunch of human beings!

    I reserve judgement, if not comment, until I’ve thought this all the way through.
    First level reaction—once we began to ACT OUT our assumptions, what Theologian Francis Schaeffer calls “the logical outcomes of your presuppositions” can become so clear they bite us in our asp. I once heard Duke’s Premier Ethicist, Stanley Hauerwas, in an Alzheimer’s Workshop, WARN how the logic of Abortion would be used to justify euthanasia.
    I want to play this over with “die you old phart” as the battle cry, see where it leads.

      So the underlying question is, how many years have the progressives had to teach and preach it is just a few cells, not a person? A baby at that size whould be kicking and moving in the mom, but their hearts and minds have been educated to believe it is a nothing. In the 60′s when my first child was born my mother told me the world would seek to brainwash my children, from tv, movies, to school. She told me in no uncertain terms I should do the “brainwashing” of teaching my children to follow a Christ-like life. That meant to respect life, love our neighbors, to look away from hate, respect their parents and all others. I am glad she quietly told me what my job as a mother entailed, which was more than feeding, cleaning and sending to school. School would not teach my children the values so importent to a good life. Tell me what their parents taught them? Bet my last dollar it wasn’t what I was counciled to teach my babies.

      This is about Desensitization. Either a result OF it, like you imply. Or maybe the INTENT behind it. I’d like to think the Proff was setting these kids up–like that old experiment with the fake shock button and screams–to suddenly wake up to their own callousness.

    I see the teenaged boys are jousting, fencing and having fun. No problem with that, but why base it on the idea of killing a baby? Is this today’s version of cowboys and Indians or americans vs ruskis?

    Their activity seems like something they would watch on Family Guy or cartoon series such as Adult Swim. Some of these new cartoons are quite clever, but every time I watch them, I see themes change from light humor to profoundly disturbing topics or over-bloodied vignettes. f I’m with someone who likes these cartoons, usually have to stop watching or listening once the ‘humor’ becomes too cruel. The kids are being raised thinking such mean angry humor is ok, never making the connection to real life events. Without religion, it is difficult to teach a sense of right and wrong if the parents are more bill-payers and custodians vs active parents who ask questions, offer guidance through their own good examples.

    Babies grow from one cell until birth……….a natural development > thanks to a man and a woman
    from birth to 10 years of age………………..development continuing> smarter and bigger at 10
    10 years to 20 years…………………………..development continuing> smarter and even bigger at 20
    20 years to day before death………………..development continued> intelligence and life goes on
    death……………………………………………….end of cycle of life as we know it

    Marriage should be between man and women who are in love and as a Christian I believe there is life after death. We should have lived our lives morally and with ethics.

    To the above Hunter students they are a disgrace to humanity and I pray that they continue their development and think back to this day when they were fools and realize if this was for real they would have destroy a developing person that had no chance. …..There will be a judgement day maybe before but definitely after life.

    But they are revealing themselves … remember the Salon article, “So what if abortion kills life.” In the article, this sentence, “not all life is equal.”

    Remember that line, that is all you need to know about this society that the Progressives and the godless are building with our children. NOT ALL LIFE IS EQUAL….death panels in Obamacare, abortion at all levels for any reason or for no reason, severe cuts in Medicare…..etc.

      Just remember Black Americans, 80 per cent of Planned Parenthood Clinics are in minority neighborhoods and Obama knows it. 56 percent of Black babies are aborted. Could that have anything to do with the decline in the Black population? Absolutely! Not Black, but sure would vote out the Black Caucus Democratic Congressmen and Congresswoman as well as any ofher politicians who support this. Gee, wake up Democrats.     I guess at Hunter college this is something only the minority students do? But it’s weird to see a woman setup a fork-battle where stabbing the “female” in order to kill the “baby” is seen as fun.

    Good thing they didn’t use a mock-semauto-rifle made out of paper plates to shoot the “female” in order kill the “baby”, because that would have been real trouble.

    Really shows the disconnect between the reality and horror of abortion (and the babies due suffer HORRIBLE deaths that they FEEL) and numbed and dumbed students. Hilter accomplished much the same thing among the Germans, the rank and file had no concept of the really of the camps and ovens, and didn’t want to know.

      Exactly right. There is a huge disconnect on the reality of abortion and what most people think it is. In the Pro-Life rally I saw a lot of people holding up pictures of aborted fetuses and thought they were inappropriate. But frankly, people need to see what abortion really is.
