Cuts in Place, Obama Puts Blame Squarely on Republicans

Deep spending cuts now in place, President Barack Obama used his weekly address to keep the blame solidly on Republicans, accusing them again of putting the interests of the wealthy above working families.
Obama signed an order Friday night authorizing the government to start slashing $85 billion from federal budgets, an outcome both sides had said they wanted to avoid.
“Hereβs the thing: none of this is necessary,” Obama said in his weekly address. “Itβs happening because Republicans in Congress chose this outcome over closing a single wasteful tax loophole that helps reduce the deficit. Just this week, they decided that protecting special interest tax breaks for the well-off and well-connected is more important than protecting our military and middle-class families from these cuts.”
Obama warned the cuts will have a “ripple effect across the country” and will cause more damage the longer they remain in place, eventually costing more than 750,000 jobs.
“I still believe we can and must replace these cuts with a balanced approach β one that combines smart spending cuts with entitlement reform and changes to our tax code,” he said. “A majority of the American people agree with me on this approach β including a majority of Republicans. We just need Republicans in Congress to catch up with their own party and the rest of the country.”
Meanwhile, Republicans countered that they had done their part to avert the cuts, passing two proposals in the House of Representatives to replace sequestration with smarter cuts. The bills were never taken up in the Democratic-controlled Senate.
“We’ve done the work and shown that these choices can be made in a responsible, thoughtful way,” said Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) said. “We urge President Obama and Senate Democrats to put country ahead of party and pass a responsible plan to replace the sequester. Instead of campaigning for higher taxes, President Obama should lead an effort to begin addressing our nation’s spending problem.”

To address yur assertion and lie specifically. Do you think that the Russians who did not ever subscribe to the Geneva Conventions “Rules of War” would have treated the German people fair if AH had surrendered? Would they have been kind and just?
NO. Not even the West would have been kind to Germany.. And don’t go off giving me the line about how we rebuilt Germany.. How many Germans were housed in concentration camps after the War? How many died in those camps? And my god let’s not even mention the ones that the Russians carried back..
So no AH had no choice but to fight to the death even though his people suffered horrifically at the hands of the Russians and the West.

Posted on March 2, 2013 at 2:40pm@meteors my simple math skills being what they are I do note that accoding to your premise the Republicans wanted to close tax loopholes INSTEAD of raising the top rate on high income earners. As we all know the top rate on earns was raised. Actually everyones taxes have gone up and while revenues are at an all time high it is still not enough money and now Obama is coming after the tax loophole money as well. He liked Boehners proposal, but decided to put that on a shelf for future villification use. Republicans lost the game of chicken over tax rate increases, and thought Obama would play FAIR..a word he is so good at throwing around. But now he is coming for the double dip, and wants the tax loophole money as well. All of it is theft in my opinion. There is so much I would like to see the goverrnment NOT do, but I digress.
Just admit that there will never be enough money to fee a corrupt government’s need for ultimate power and control. Just ask Stalin, Mao or any number of other dictators throughout history. One thing they all had in common though is public support. Communist dictators don’t come to power in a vacuum. They all need their shills. America is currently ripe for the picking. Just took 40 years of reverse education.

Really?
Did they support Obamacare? Or have you conveniently forgot that 2/3rds of Americans opposed the law, but it was passed literally in the still of the night?

Guess you never read our Constitution, eh? Because the PEOPLE, even if 99% of the people agree, CANNOT TAKE AWAY our basic rights. Regardless. Period.
The ONLY exception is a constituional amendment.
So, taking States rights, or guns, or free speech, or habeus corpus……DOESNT freaking matter if YOU or HIM, or the tyranny of the majority wants those things removed.

For one if I have to tell you about the Jewish influence in Hollywood then there’s really no point in futher converstation because you are as blind as a bat.
If you are taking a history course I assume you must be rather young.. You said something about ignoring books that may be too slanted.. I can’t say that blame you too much for that because I certainly do have my biases as well; however, I’m suggesting to you that you start with those two books.. Yes they share my views but Pat B and David Irving are two towers of men.. No one has written extensivly about WW2 as David Irving. He’s not pro Nazi but he does take an even handed look at the war..
We could even discuss WW1.. It doesn’t have to be WW2. We were totally and completely misled in WW1 as well.
What concerns me about you is that you appear to want to shut off knowledge if doesn’t conform.. My brother told me about 5-6 years ago to not even speak to his sons about the Jewish question anymore.. My brother is undeducated and is a fool. He will only read books that fits his world view. I just can’t do that. I try to be as balanced and reasoned as possible.
My conclusion on WW2 was not that Germany was good but that they were not as evil as Jewish led Russia and that marxism was inspired and spearheaded by Jews.

In all my time studying history, I see ideologies killing and never something inherit in a people group. That is the height of ignorance to believe that a race is behind something when they aren’t. Hitler believed the Jews were behind everything as well and then killed 6 million of them. That type of thinking is dangerous to blame a group of people when history says that when you go down that road, you kill many. Cont.

Ok most European Jews wound up in Eastern Poland in an area called the Pale of Settlement in the 19th century. I don’t know how they got there or when they arrived but I know they were there. Ok around about the turn of the 20th century Jews were growing more radical and many had embraced Marx’s Communist teachings. You can see it some of the old movies even like Fiddler on the Roof and various old movies dealing with WW1. Lenin himself considered that he was Jewish even though his mother was not..
Here’s a twist.. During WW1 and the period leading up to it most Jews from America supported Germany.. You say what??? True. Jews hated Russia. They were treated much better in Germany.
Towards the end of WW1 most Germans thought they had in the bag.. None of it had ever been fought on German soil so they thought it was winding down and they’d be victorious. Then comes what Hitler and many other Patriotic Germans considered the “Stab in the Back”.

In exchange for Israel, the American Jews who were once strongly pro Germany and hated Russia had to convince the US of its need to enter the War and since propaganda is their game that was easy going. US entering the War ensured Germanyβs eventual surrender and defeat.
That along with the Spartacus Uprising in Berlin and a general sense of betrayal led by many Jewish leaders in Germany led to widespread distrust between Germans and Jews.

But needless to say the Jewish love affair with Russia began after WW1 and after the Bolshevik revolution.. Many consider and certainly myself consider it a Jewish Revolution. Almost all the main players in it were Jewish and early in the movement there was once over 300 Jewish Commissars in Russia out of like 380 total.. Incredible given their population in Russia.
Well I can’t go on with no assurance this is being posted.. But if you’re a true history student you’ll do the research and learn.

It is increasingly difficult to get facts that are untainted by a political viewpoint. For example, I would never trust “facts” coming directly from the whitehouse. In the same vain the above may not be sufficient.
In any case, my main point is that no amount of revenue will ever satisfy this administration or the current power segments of the democratic or republican parties. Historically speaking that doesn’t bode well for the Republic.

Many people know the difference between literally & figuratively, but use the word literally in place of figuratively to add emphasis. Reading thru “Cassell’s Dictionary of wordandphrase origins” I saw a verb that over a period of 3 centuries had its’ meaning completely reversed.
Here is the dirty little secret Meteors. If it is done long enough by enough people the Modern Language Association will at some point “bless it” & it will become official.
Words like druthers have become official in less than 1 century.

Well I was talking to some crazy guy in the gym that was quoting scriptures and trying to preach to me even though heβs recently divorced and was asked to leave the Methodist Church. I am teachable and I will listen but Iβve read the bible cover to cover several times and Iβve studied the NT in-depth. That being said he does have at a least a rudimentary understanding of history so I somewhat enjoy talking to him.
My wife and I have recently had a mild sort of falling out because she doesnβt take this stuff as seriously as I.. She basically thinks everything is alright and all will be well but I increasingly have this sense of National doom and forebodingβ¦ I tried to explain to her that my beliefs are spelled out in Daniel and Rev pretty much verbatim but I see it in the physical and natural more plainly than the spiritual. A Rapture would be wonderful but thatβs faith.. I wish we didnβt have to rely on pure faith in order to receive a bail out of sorts as a result of us having such a mess of things.
Ok back to the point, Iβll give to the notion that many of these so called European Jews are probably not the Jews referred to in the Bible and that they are most likely what Rev refers to as the Syn of Satan. That being said I still see a Revolutionary sprit or spirit of anti-Christ in almost all secular Jews which is unrivaled.

Posted on March 3, 2013 at 2:49pm@TECH..Ah..Finally..I got a reply button..still fighting with this thing..Tech..your friend and I have shared a similar fate..I was kicked out of my home church because I cannot be controlled… I still love my pastor..his wife and my fellow worshippers..I had the experience of my life in that church..I do not believe that there will be a pre tribulation rapture..even when John McCarthur tries to explain it..he has trouble..There are many over the world being executed for their faith in Christ..Many had been the executioners who were brought to Christ by the ones that they persecuted..We are here but for a moment in earthsuits..we could be taken violently not even in relation to tribulations..What we have to look forward to is the millenial kingdom..where Jesus will reign..from my investigation into this..there will be a sheep and goats judgement for the ones going into the reign..there will be ones who will live into it..others will be raised for it..then at the end..Jesus looses Satan to take the rebellious children born in that reign,,Yes..some will be marrying and bearing children..then the rebellious ones along with the ones who had died will be raised and joined with their bodies.. will go to the Great White Throne Judgement and from there..thrown into the lake of fire with Satan to burn forever..Get on your knees my friend..and ask God to give you the faith and the courage that you need..I want to see you in the kingdom..After that a new heaven and new earth

Why is it today did the US Government agree to give 250 million dollars in aid after the warm welcome Egyptians gave John “Paper Clip” Kerry? Why are we giving 60 million aid to Syrian Terrorist to overthrow a legal government? How much money is being given to anti-American countries or terrorist? Why is this administration willing to spend millions on anti American countries and terrorist, but look to make cuts on the American People?
There is alot of waste. Time to trim back the Goverment, Time to end all Govermnet Funded Programs, time to pack the UN up and send them on there way, and time to end all Foriegn Aid. Time to make all members of Congress to return to their home States, Time to limit Congress to 3 sessions that last 2 weeks, and Time for the States to set pay, budget, insurance, and retirement for all members of Congress from their State. Take the Power out of D.C.
Place the responsibilities of all citizens on their States. Make the Federal Tax a Flat 5% tax rate, no exceptions, no loop holes, everyone pays. Start putting Americans hard earned money back into the States they live. No more Free rides.

He is not a natural born citizen, meaning only one of his parents was an American. The Constitution requires the President to be natural born. Obama was not a natural born citizen. At best he was native born and that is not sufficient.
This derelict should have been vetted, and had he been, it is highly likely that information would have been divulged which either have confirmed his ineligibility, or information which would have highlighted his unacceptability.
The Republican Party has made some egregious errors in not insisting that his records be divulged, including all his school records, travel records, birth records, as well as other records.
Barack Hussein Obama is a narcissist and a solipsistic and has to this day not held the best interest of the American people at heart. Obama causes racial tensions and is a promoter of class warfare, and is without a doubt a purveyor of disention and a divide – not a unifier. He refuses to accept Ny blame for the ongoing disaster of his errant policies.
The sooner he is removed, the better off this nation will be.

The Democrat controlled Senate passed it. The Republican controlled House passed it. POTUS signed it into law and threatened a veto on any attempt to modify or eliminate it. The Republican controlled House has passed bills that changed it. The Democrat controlled Senate did not take action on those bills. And we still hear from the leaders that all of this is the fault of the Republicans.
When I hear POTUS, Harry, Diane, Maxine, etc. etc. I am reminded of the old computer advice: GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT.

I say they got elected by the people to do a job for us, which I must add that most of them are doing a job for themselves without keeping our best interests. They do not need top dollar salaries or freebies. Look at how much time they take off. I believe there is alot of dishonest politicians that are taking advantage of our hard working tax dollars. I think we should start with big cuts in the cess pool and get it cleaned up and send the politicians home that can’t do a honest days work.
