Actress and comedienne Roseanne Barr is well-known for her bold and somewhat questionable tweets (she once claimed “most billionaires” are “violent pedophiles”), but today she appears to be something else: a “prepper.”
She tweeted Sunday: “when the shite hits the fan soon in america: be prepared by organizing w ur neighbors to grow wholesome food/store water/vitamins/guns.”

Barr soon retweeted this response: “I tell people to have cash, guns, food, water, meds, etc. Foolish if you don’t have cash.”
She then added: “[Grandmothers]: organize your teen youth to protect the young ones and the old ones and grow community gardens if u want 2 survive things.”

It’s unclear whether the outspoken comedienne, who once said we should behead the rich, was joking in her tweets. Her followers didn’t seem to think so; many of the top responders added suggestions of their own.
Twitchy suggests she’s “preparing for economic doomsday in America,” adding: “with no inkling of improvement in Obama’s economy, it’s hard to blame her for this mentality.”
Barr’s earlier tweets seem to validate Twitchy’s conclusion.
“Failed senate. failed congress. failed executive branch. failed SC. #wheninthecourseofhumanevents,” she tweeted just hours before urging people to stock up on guns and water.
Barr sought the Green Party nomination in 2012, but has not retired into obscurity since her defeat. She was in the news just a few weeks ago for her surprisingly pro-gun solution to preventing rape.
TheBlaze has reached out to Barr for comment, but has not yet heard back.
The actress recently appeared in a YouTube video where she said the world seems “upside down” and “nothing makes sense”:

Mar. 4, 2013 at 10:12amPersonally, I don’t particularly like Roseanne. However, I googled her for 2008, she didn’t like him back then.. She called him “an empty suit offering hope in lieu of truth”. In 2011, she called for O to be impeached over the National Defence Act, which gives govt. authority to round-up and imprison citizens without due process. Granted, she is a socialist and her disappoint with him was first, he wasn’t a female (hillary). Second, he didn’t stop the war and close Gitmo. But the most important truth about her is she has been at least taking on the media a-kissers and telling the truth even if it is usually vulgar. Watch some You-tube videos…she is very critical. She hates him from the far left, but not the world domination left. The leave me and everybody else left, Help people, left. Stop interfering and being a global bully, left. Pot smoking and orgie, left. And if you take my joint or home grown pot plants, I will shoot you. left.
I am just saying….she ain’t a fan. She had a very short honeymoon in 2008 of giving him a chance at change “she could believe in” but by 2009….she was disenchanted with the Kool-aid. She even ran for President against him.

One should remember that as a matter of survival, you don’t have to have the right government philosophy, or even be particularly smart. You just have to avoid deluding yourself about the way things are.
Apparently Barr is clever enough to deduce that the dark clouds on the Horizon mean a storm is coming, and she’s smart enough to get out of the rain.

I find it weird to say, I’m finally glad I don’t have insurance! I cut it out when it exceeded my mortgage. I paid in $12,000 and they paid out less than $100. Sounds like Casino odds to me. It completely sucks my Government is telling me I have to pay the casino.

She has done some vile stuff in the past (like just about every public figure/politician) but many have done worse, and we are expected to forgive their transgressions. She speaks her truth without filter and she loves her country. We’d be better off with more Americans of her ilk!

But on her show she went after a Representative in an episode calling him out on a ridiculous tax plan. She called the women of Hollywood out for not supporting each other, which they still don’t do. Barbara Walters trying to go after he for that and she gave her a great answer.
For all the crazy she still understands what is going on in this country. She understands what the middle class and women suffer through, and she knows how to get herself in the news.
The woman is smarter and better than what we have in office.
Gotta love Her! Wish she would have won over what we have.

Mar. 4, 2013 at 1:11amShe needs to clarify that either you need to already have the garden growing, or you have to have enough of a food reserve to last you until the first crops come in. It would help to have some experience in growing food, knowing what grows best in your area, having non-gmo seeds so you have a constant replenishment of seeds for next seasons crops…and the knowledge and supplies to can the excess for leaner times.
I despise this woman…but anyone getting the word out to prepare for hard times is always welcome.
