Glenn Beck Goes Off on Peddlers of Extreme Anti-Gun Sentiment in America: ‘I Remember Telling You This Would Come’

On his Monday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck mocked what he considers ridiculous gun laws and anti-gun sentiment, beginning with the unbelievable story of a 7-year-old Maryland boy who was actually suspended from school for biting a Pop-Tart pastry into the shape of a gun.

Beck also took time during the segment to showcase a new, hard-hitting NRA ad campaign and discuss the story of a 16-year-old high school student who wrestled a gun away from a fellow student and was, in the end, suspended from school for three days.

“See there’s another lesson,” Beck explained. “Sit down. Take it. Don’t you dare get up! Don’t you dare say anything. You’re not the first responder! That’s what they are teaching your children. This kid is a hero and they suspend him.”

“I remember telling you this would come,” he added. “And here it is.”

    Look folks,

    We think this craziness is because of ignorance and an irrational fear of guns; a phobia, if you will. But, that’s simply not the case. The root cause of such suspensions/police involvement is Eric Holder’s philosophy of “brainwashing” kids at school to be anti-gun. Oh! And, time and time again, left-wing teachers union-members demonstrate an eager willingness to play along with policies which, to an ordinary person of reasonable intelligence, seem extraordinarily harsh, senseless and counter-productive.

    The problem is that they’re furthering an agenda – and We, the People, are still thinking, living and acting as though this were the 1980′s or something and we don’t understand the sinister nature and tactics of the faceless enemy we we’re up against, nor the depth of their infiltration into every public service, office and institution in America.

    Through fear of public humiliation and unreasonable punishments, kids’ attitudes toward firearms are being manipulated. The intent is that kids (as adults) will have a knee-jerk reaction – a NEGATIVE reaction – toward all things gun-related. This is social engineering at it’s finest.

    We can’t win this fight in the courts. There isn’t time and, soon, every court in the land will be ruled over by these… communists – and we’ve got to understand that’s what they are: communist totalitarians. There’s a real fight coming, the likes of which we can scarcely imagine. How I wish it weren’t true –

      Some folks are still “debating the merits.” That time has passed. The defecation has already hit the ventilation with the reelection of the Ayatollah Obama.

      This is going to go to hand-to-hand sooner than many folks realize.       Khrushchev said in the 60′s they would bury us from within. They have already done it with homosexuals. In the 70′s the ERA was defeated when they embraced lesbians. Now today there are proud to be gay clubs in school. I feel sorry for my children and grandchildren. This is no longer the land of opportunity. I was reading from one of my friends of a viral video showing the gap between the super rich and the rest of us. Oh all the wealth should be redistributed amongst us. Sounds good until that runs out, then it is up to the state to run things.

      Yes, every time there is some “high profile” crime, anti-gun sentiment goes through the roof. But that is BY DESIGN. That is the piece you are missing. Have you taken a look at the men who perpetrated the crimes in Aurora, Newtown, and others? Whacked out on government controlled psychotropic drugs. PsyOps of sorts I believe.

      It then makes way for the liberal propaganda machine to start churning the sentiment amongst the people. It is all by design.

    The public school system is garbage! The only reading material I enjoyed was Huckleberry Fin, Beowulf and a bit of Shakespeare. The rest of it was aimed at beating the concept of white male guilt into my skull, from first grade on up! Year after year every single book was strategically selected to drive an agenda. I began learning evolutionary theory from the 1st grade. I was made to learn the basic tenants of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. I had sex ed pushed on me far too early by the school system. In high school I would say they encouraged it with all the free handouts and pressure.
    I would have liked to have studied economics, personal finance, (accurate) history, the bible, and learned some sort of trade in grade school. I suppose those things are unimportant…. If God blesses me with children some day, I will love them dearly and I will refuse to put them in a government educational institution! Concerning the future of this nation, school voucher legislation is paramount. It needs to happen now, or the upcoming generations are lost.

The show is down 27% in total viewers and 38% in the demo from its debut in Jan. 17th, 2011.

    Piers Morgan Tonight also had the lowest demo in its time slot and was even beat by HLN’s Dr. Drew (with 208,000).

      Piers Morgan needs to learn the history of guns and freedom. The NRA was set up to protect blacks from the KKK, blacks fought lynch mobs with revolvers including a black journalist named Ida Wells Bells.       All those that want more gun control needs to learn the history of gun control and the 2nd amendment. They don’t know anything about America’s history or of the rest of the world when it comes to guns and freedom.

      In order for conservatives to win in the future we need to educate our youth and adults. Here are a few things they need to learn:
      1) Blacks saved themselves from the KKK and fought lynchings with guns. AKA Ida Wells-Bells
      2) NRA was set up to help blacks against the KKK.
      3) The first, second, etc black Senators and Congressmen were all Republicans.
      4) Woodrow Wilson was the leader of the progressive movement and push his agenda through a Democrat run majority to introduce federally controlled segregation.

      America doesn’t know how Conservative values and the 2nd Amendment has built and strengthen this country. One man is trying to teach them. He is doing it through a card game.     Interesting. I see in my city that all the policeman are now very young. And they spend a lot of effort stopping our youth like the “young in power” have some reason to target the “young not in power”.
    I am concerned for the direction this nation is taking when you look at how those in power want to subdue those not in power. No community togetherness. No sticking together. In fact we seem to be constantly pitted against one another – including far more racial diversity than I have seen over the last 50 years.

      You spend your day watching the police stop young people all over town? Do you think there’s some kind of vast conspiracy that give them orders to do so? Or is it that the majority of crime is committed by young people? Reason you see cops getting younger: 1. They have to replace the natural retirement of old timers that are fed up with the BS that comes with the job. 2. You’re getting old like me.
      I don’t see the correlation between the police and some of the idiots running the school system.

      Well, Wow Wow, since I am convinced the whole concept of “Race” is a MYTH, then I would argue the person MOST “Racist” in the sense of apparently Focused on Melanin Count to the exclusion of all else, would tend to be YOU, since you be noticing non-diversity. Genetics exists, Tribe Exists, Ethnicity Exists, CULTURE exists. “RACE” does not exist, except as a Mythical Construct to beat Mythical “white” people with.
      It also has been the balance of probabilities, in my experience, that those shrieking loudest for “diversity” are the least tolerant toward opinions that reject their own, as you would appear to reject those being critical of your Particular Protected Privileged Status Groups.

      Don’t mean to misunderstand you, but I have little patience for cries of “Racism” on this site.
      To Quote the 20th Century’s Greatest Philosopher: “It is as it DO!”
      POS behaving badly are POS behaving badly and to recognize that is simply Truthfulness, not “Racism”. Unless you are going to argue that to Identify Bad Behavior in Protected Privilege Groups is to commit De Facto Racism.
      Indeed, it WOULD BE RACISM, or at least BIGOTRY, if one were to MITIGATE, EXCUSE or GLOSS OVER Low Character and Bad Behavior simply ON the Grounds of it being committed by a Protected Privilege Status Group.

    I want to scream every time my (few) Lefty friends try to be snarky that no one is trying to take our guns… they are sadly addicted to the Kool Aid.

    The idea that ANY of these pieces of legislation have moved beyond proposal is shocking and dismaying… are there no legislators willing to stand up and call out unconstitutional proposals?

    Can no right thinking legislator amend proposals with equally unacceptable but opposite clauses… force everyone to own a governmentally provided firearm and train with it regularly… mandate gun owners be allowed to set the buy back value of their firearms (for only 27.2 million after tax i will sell Joe my AR and forever leave this sinking ship of state).

    Make no mistake, Americans, those in power care not for the law beyond how they can use it to advance their power and control.

Rationalism – Descartes in the 17th C laid the foundation for science & modern philosophy = The world is composed of mind & matter, distinct and separate, dualism. Logic, reason, deduction – independent of experience. Spectators and mystifying phenomena were rejected in favor of objective analysis. Urban Idealism teaches we are objective spectators of the world. Before Descartes the purpose of science was to explain the goodness of God. Rationalism divorced science from authority of the Church.     DHS bought 2700 light tanks. Washington knows the system is collapsing. The state is preparing for war… “It” needs more time to prepare << That's the only reason the system is still floating.

      Wow, we got a dull bulb here. Let me brighten your mind a bit.

      The fact he is suspended, regardless of his heroic action, and directly because of his heroic action because of “it’s common” to suspend behavior before the facts are in is the point.

      This is also a case of guilty until proven Innocent.

      The lesson here is:

      Sit down. Shut up. And Take it while you wait for the state to handle the situation. Do anything else and you are guilty.

      The fact that this is common just makes it all the more outrageous.

      You really argue for that?

      No. You are a liar and a bed wetting paid troll. An investigation and proof of wrongdoing comes prior to a suspension. A Pop Tart is not an offense worthy of suspension nor is stopping a person from shooting another.

      So, no more red riders? Are they going to ban the Christmas Story to? Kids have always played with toy guns. Just this past weekend a bunch of us on our block were outside watching the kids run around playing cowboys and Indians, and no one had an issue with it. Of course we all know this issue is all about control, so maybe now we need to take back control!
