If This 6-Year-Old Girl’s Unbelievable Break Dance Moves Don’t Impress You, Nothing Will

Her name is “B-girl Terra” and her unbelievable dance moves have made her an overnight Internet sensation. The video on her break dancing on YouTube already has nearly 500,000 views.

The Huffington Post has more details about the dance competition:

Last weekend, the miniature competitor took part in the Chelles Battle Pro competition in Paris, blowing away the rest of the contestants with her unbelievable windmills and headspins. Though she didn’t walk away with the final prize in the Baby Battle (she was bested in the last round by fellow pint-sized break dancer, JStyles), her tiny track suit and killer moves have certainly won the hearts of everyone who’s watched her since then.

I’ve seen kids in the hallways at schools doing better than this. Why the push to promote this crap? It is gross, obtuse, there is nothing skilled or athletic or graceful about it.

  For a two and a half foot tall fidget this kid is pretty entertaining – BUT Curly of the 3 Stooges was cointantly (as opposed to certainly) performing these moves way back in the day. Nyuc, nyuc, nyuc, whoop, whoop, whoop. Hey Moe !

  This is just training for gang fighting. But I will admit, she’ll be a hit in the “hood”. Notice some of the hand movements mimick how a gangsta holds a Glock…you know, sideways. Surprised she didn’t grab her crotch area while doing this….but maybe that’s just for the male gang-bangers.

  Earlier this year, 12 year old Autumn Pasquale was beat to death by two black teens for her BMX bike parts. It was so cute, the MSM dropped it the day they found out the killers were black.

EASTINFECTION – If you’re equating what’s in that video to the excellence, dedication, drive, hard work and discipline required to make an Olympic gymnast, might I suggest you take a vacation. You may be working too hard.

SURVIVORSEED – Yes, I made that mistake. I watched the entire video and forgot it was a girl. Perhaps if she dressed like a girl and not some gangland punk wannabe (complete with threatening gestures), I would have remembered that fact. I’m sure you’re right–my comments are about hate and not the fact that we’ve already got too much gang violence in this nation without encouraging more.

Again, no, this garbage does not impress me. Want to impress me? Show me that same little girl in a loving home during the evening while she forgoes TV or video games to read or study math.

  Turb… Hopefully we’d have higher expectations for children than to merely stay out of trouble. That’s the point. You value that scene as good while it may actually lead to trouble.   i’m a child of the 80′s.
  spent many futile hours in my white-bread suburbia trying to impress the middle-school chicks with my moonwalk, etc. to no avail. i was far too white. If i had this chick’s moves i would have been been able to challenge the other white kids that happened to be better than me at this stuff to a “battle” during recess.. and win the hearts of the bandana/ parachute pants-wearing hot chicks at the time.
  As it were… i had to wait till they got older & became psuedo-hippies before i got my shot…

How this kid dances is utterly irrelevant, I’m not impressed in the least.

If she turns out to be a good, kind-hearted human being and not some cockroach I’ll be impressed.

By the looks of it, with all the thug types around, I’d say the odds are stacked against her.

Not impressed. No dignity in the dance; just a lot of rolling around and free-styling. Sorry to sound harsh, after all she is just a little thing; but ballet, tap or Lindy Hop would have been noteworthy.

  There are millions of little girls that are good at tap and ballet and they are almost all equally boring.

I’ll never be impressed by parents trying to use their kids as a meal ticket though. Especially when they put a young kid in a completely age innapropriate environment and glorify the gangster mentality.

You can pretend “it’s just dance moves” all you like. The gestures they are doing mean something, and the things they mean are vulgar and obscene and violent.
