Canadian Mom’s Gripping Interview on Her Son’s Conversion From ‘Pacifist’ to Radical Jihadist

“He stopped listening to music because it was a sin,” a Canadian mother said of her son who converted to Islam. “He started to cut off contact with girls, then later, with boys who didn’t share his vision.”

The mother of one of approximately 50 Canadians currently under surveilance by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) for alleged terrorist activities abroad told CBC News that her son is unrecognizable today compared to who he once was before being recruited by a radical Islamic group online.

He has since moved to Syria after completely rejecting his family, telling them to “burn in hell” if they did not convert, according to the Quebec woman. She said after her son converted to Islam, he was recruited online by a radical Islamist group.

She spoke to the Canadian Broadcast Network on condition of anonymity, saying she wanted to raise awareness, particularly among other parents, about the risks predators pose on young, impressionable minds.

The mother said her son was indeed a pacifist, making it more ironic that he is now bent on jihad. Still, it was his gentle, “generous nature,” she believes his recruiters “played on.”

The woman told CBC that her son became increasingly hostile and critical of Canadian society, saying, “Canadian laws are not good. It’s Sharia law that should be applied.”

“He is convinced that jihad is a part of the religion.”

Sufi cleric Shaykh Omar Koné, who leads one of Montreal’s largest congregations at al Iman mosque, told CBC that he is seeing an increase in the number of young people going the route of extremism and that clerics often try to guide them back, at times to no avail.

This is just another example of why there could be no United Nations and no amount of education, no matter how young you start, is going to avoid these types of situations due to a variety of factors without due care, and of course we are talking partly about the supernatural things that can not be explained by humans?

We should have faith the good things that Jesus gave us, will follow and guide us in the future, because he gave us more then words, but tangible gifts?

And if I told this young man that thing, he would say I would burn in Hell? The answer would be a universal religion, or a watered down education beginning in pre-K? Or the banning of books, the banning of religion?

No, the real saints can teach those in diapers, and those who carry swords?

  Yeah, what a tool. We don’t need to follow laws or respect rights if the government suspects a person of being dangerous or uppity. Just kill them. What could possibly go wrong?

  Marsh, never forget, the laws that apply to others, apply to you as well. Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you. Do you really want to eliminate the right to a speedy trial, and instead allow indiscriminate gov endorsed murder to rule the land? The thought makes one’s guts turn watery.

The Jihad conversion thing is similar to the cults of the 60s and 70s, viz, Jim jones, the Moonies, Manson, et al. Pump up the impressionable, weak, gullible, and easily-lead to believe in some evil fictionalized doctrine.

Western youth are not being raised in church like they should be. I am not saying we need to be like puritans or fanatics but children need a foundation in Christianity that gives them assurance that God is looking after them. They need a base and a belief system of their own. When you believe in nothing you fall for anything. Bring your children to church and go with them. I am not saying you have to be there everytime the doors are open; but go often enough so that your children know who they are and who God is. Islam is not a religion. It is a giant murderous cult. Don’t let it steal your children.

  US has 5% of the world’s population and 25% of the world’s prisoners. The incarceration rate in US is something like 4 times higher than europe. Do you think americans are 4 times as violent/criminal as europe???

  20% of Islam converts in prison join Al-Qaeda. That’s a pretty big number. The other 80% have a lower recidivism rate than the rest of the prison population.

  We have more minority problems because of Jim Crow, other discrimination (Democrats did not do it all) & currently the leftist agenda. We also have more immigration.
  
  We have had all this for for longer & in greater quantity than Europe.
  
  I would also argue that Europe is not prosecuting crime. There are no go areas in France where the French Police simply do not go. Therefore there incarceration rate is artificially low.
  
  In Britain the big scandal is the prostitution of minors by men of South Asian Heritage. Something the police have historically done nothing about until just this year. The prosecutions are ramping up. the public had enough. the police knew about it, but chose not to take action. Asian or South Asian is the euphemism that the progressives use when they want to smear Indian, Chinese & South East Asians The would rather not say precise because that would be uncomfortable. It is the Pakistani immigrant community.
  
  I have links to back it all up. Check the British, French or Swedish Newspapers. or read the blogs.
  
  We have a higher incarceration rate then China. Why? People convicted of capital crimes there tend to get … EXECUTED!
