On Tuesday night, an armed would-be robber approached a Miami man outside his apartment building and demanded his belongings.
Though it is not clear why, the robber then shot the victim in the hand. He didn’t know it at the time, but it would turn out to be a senseless violent act that cost him his life.
The victim, whose injury was said to be non-life threatening, then pulled out his own handgun in self-defense and shot his attacker several times. The violent robber later died at Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital due to his injuries.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. When police arrived, they found two men had been wounded, one critically.
Police are investigating the initial shooting by the would-be robber. No charges have been filed against the victim.
No further details were immediately available.

And they are preparing to do so, and while we are watching prepare and focusing on that, the other hand is busy preparing the next big crisis so they can do that. The fact is, my little friend, is that guns are deadly. A person with a .22 pistol can kill a person just as easilly as that same person with an AR-15. And an AR-15 is NOT an assault weapon. It is a semi-automatic rifle; it is not a fully automatic rifle. It is also my opinion, that the citizenry should be able to purchase fully automatic weapons.
Yeah, the assault weapons ban of the 90′s did not result in a full confiscation of weapons. But you know what, Sport? Just because the ban of the 90′s did not result in full confiscation, that does not mean that a new ban would not result in a full confiscation. Look at what the left who are in positions of power are doing, they are trying awefully hard to limit our rights. Not on just the gun front, but also from the ammunition front.
Yet, your beloved leaders are looking to deploy drones to kill US Citizens, on US soil without due process. So here’s what is happening, the left is trying to disarm the citizens, and kill them without due process. There is NO regard for the United States Constitution.

Sometimes they are smart enough. As a victim of road rage last week (guy thought going the speed limit in town was pushing his right to go fast, he was behind). After crossing the double yellow and crashing into my left side , he stopped and jumped out in his rage. It’s amazing what the sight of a 1911 in the holster can do to calm the savage beast. As with the dead robber the ultimate out come was not good the driver was arrested, but alive, which only he controlled

Don’t worry, I’ve really challenged myself to examine my own driving practices–twice in one week–I must have done something wrong! (Both times, the OTHER guy was on his cell phone and just tooled me out of a merge–I ran out of road as they chatted away–their foot on the gas!) (Maybe I should get more aggressive with my big truck, and hog the ‘scooter’ lanes a little earlier! Until now, I’ve found most drivers are pretty decent about taking the hole when it is open and yielding it to me as my options run out! But, I think I’m going to move into ‘their’ lanes a little earlier–for the safety of all–although they might not like the longer look at my backside! Sorry, it’s your fellow drivers that have caused me to modify my behavior! I wonder if all those cell-phone, gas pedal drivers have any idea the weight differential they are dealing with? I think about it all-day, every day! Please drive safely!

I didn’t carry a weapon back then. I didn’t think something like that could happen around here. He didn’t hit my car, but the Republican DA here couldn’t throw the case out fast enough when she found out he had moved to Atlanta. She was more worried about filling up her schedule than the fact that he was out on probation already!

Is it not what they are trying to push through all over this nation? Back ground checks, to weed out people that have had psyc issues. So, if successful with an assault weapons ban, the left will then go after handguns. I will never be sorry that I take joy in seeing a worthless human being killed when they commit a violent crime against any person minding their own business. As for my self, I had a background check when I got my concealed carry. In Georgia, I have had to go through a background check for every weapon I have purchased. On the form that I fill out, the weapon make, model and serial number is recorded on the form. The FFL has to keep that on file. If the FFL goes out of business, the forms MUST be sent to the Feds. So the Feds know what I have purchased, and they can use that information if they decide to do a full out confiscation.
It is a slippery slope my friend. I don’t mind going through a background check, it is no skin off my nose to do it….I’ve done it 16 times…..so far. But I object to the recording of the weapon I am purchasing.

Blaze is one of the few showing the stories of everyday gun-owners protecting themselves and their families… These stories deserved to be heard.

How is it then that the FBI investigative team that responded when they released their official report said that Adam Lanza’s body was found with four handguns and specified that no long gun was used. That was found later in the car that he drove. So, in your opinion, who is lying, the FBI or State Police Lt. J Paul Vance?

I am racking my brain at the moment to try and remember where I read that online so that I can pass along a link. What happened is that I first heard it in the News about three or four days after that medical examiner made his goofy presser. I say goofy because of the way he acted, I’m almost positive that you would agree. The FBI report was released the day after that presser. Anyway, once I heard it in the news I found a site from a group the news report mentioned. Not sure if I linked that site here or not, but I have mentioned this a number of times here. When I find something I will manage to get it to you one way or the other and as quick as I can.

2nd the type of gun does matter. A double barrel shotgun might not be enough to persuade 3 burglars to flee, to stay put until police arrive or to not advance on you. They might figure that 2 shotgun blasts are not enough to get all 3 of them. They then might reason to themselves & to you that since you cannot do in all 3 of them that they can still do in you. Therefore you had better give in now & it will be better for you. Also a single unarmed crook might take his chances with getting hit with a .22 calibre than having a 3rd strike & spending life in jail. A person could buy or easily make bullet proof armor depending on the calibre of gun the homeowner has. If you compadres start restricting guns it will be very easy to build body armor.
