What Does the Controversy Around CPAC’s Legitimacy Say About the Conservative Movement?
News came Tuesday that CPAC had invited Donald Trump to speak, creating a bigger cloud of controversy around the legitimacy of the yearly gathering of conservative activists.
Philip Klein of the Washington Examiner described the move as cementing CPAC’s “clown show status,” as the conference has invited fewer leading Republican office holders this year, and more speakers seen to many to be on the conservative fringe.
On ‘Real News‘ Wednesday the panel debate if CPAC has lost touch with the future of the conservative movement, or are they simply maintaing their position as an independent conservative (not republican) group?
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on March 7, 2013 at 7:45amSorry Blaze. Just because S.E. won’t speak at CPAC, I see no reason to demonize it.

Posted on March 7, 2013 at 9:10amDon’t get this one. S.E. chose not to speak at CPAC because they did not support “Gay Marriage.” Gay Marriage as an “issue” defines the term ultra radical left which takes S.E. way out of the “conservative” and frankly out of the RINO category into what I would term ultra libertarianism. Frankly, S.E. seems to define her own category here….one of real anarchy…ie: I have the right to believe, support, and act on anything I feel like doing. Frankly S.E. is an ephemerial vapor…there really is no core principle here…just a very pretty lady who can spin with the best of them. The concept of “core” principles is directly contradicted by her closely held Athiesm. With no God…there is no inalienable rights….no limited contract…..and no Constitution.
To actually argue from this kind of vacuous position is an exercise in catching and holding the wind in your hand….its pure vapor.
S.E. is not a conservative…she is a vapor in human form… To really pay attention to her diatribes and constantly shifting positions on social/fiscal policies is to watch a very insecure individual try to make sense of a senseless world. You cannot make any real sense unless you have a core…and that core is described in detail in the very book she fundamentally rejects….the Bible.
So…good luck with that S.E. While you make money playing the game …you are merely playing…

Posted on March 7, 2013 at 3:53amI have been to CPAC 4 times off and on as both exhibitor for my company and as attendee. 2006 was the famous “parade of candidates” lining up for 2008 that included Huckabee, Dornan, Mitt, etc and a surprise raid by Giuliani to see if he could get out alive. It served/serves many purposes. Pep rally and Disneyland for conservatives/libertarians. A beauty pageant tryout for up and comers/wannabes in media and politics. Informational seminars and panels where you could see up close the Imperial City insiders.
It became a war zone between the Rockefeller heirs vs the Goldwater heirs. The Rockies have become so liberal as to no longer be Republican (RINO), let along conservative. The Goldies have lacked a real standard bearer with legs since Reagen. This is more the naval gazing fault of the media…both lame-stream and guys like you…than the caliber of candidates.
The GOP is splitting between the SOCCONS and the FISCONS..between rich urban and middle class suburban/rural. I see in my state party in Ohio….Tea Partiers have more in common with Democrat neighbors than either do with our party leadership.
My family is from WV and have been GOP since Fremont in “56″…1856. The party left us…freedom, small businessman/farmers and virtue for the glitzy lure of power, big biz and vice. So now I am fringe? BS!
CPAC is NOT the grassroots of the GOP…too many Imperial City insiders….but it is where a few of us rural Jethros, still loyal to the real Party go to

Posted on March 7, 2013 at 3:49amComparing Donald Trump to Chris Christie is “controversial”? Leading “Republicans” according to who? Twitter? What might work wonders in social media selling flowers, might be a train wreck when it comes to politics? Less then 3% of people that work in Washington (out of less than 13% of who even HAVE Twitter accounts?) actually “tweet back” to users, yet Twitter is constantly quoted in the press as though it were a reflection of national opinion, rather than a subset of biased users?
For all we know, CPAC has their agenda planned, and there is no room for additional speakers, without more information, we would be guessing? No mention of “leading Democrats”, that’s all you need to know about the religious left and the Church of Scientology?
These questions will not be thrown at old people, they will haunt the younger generations?

Posted on March 7, 2013 at 4:15amstealthseesall. Its us Freemasons who have the conspiracy for world rule. We are so cunning the Jewish guys got the rap for it. Sarcasm.
Christ and the Apostles are Jews. Christians are “step-Jews”.
Romans 11:17-24
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
Read the Bible. Don’t beat the Jews with it. Small c christians have an appointment in Hell just like the fictional jew boogeyma
