Sens. McCain & Graham Dedicate Morning to Discrediting Paul Filibuster (Graham Even Uses a Shame Chart!)

Senators John McCain & Lindsay Graham Attack Rand Paul Filibuster

Following the conclusion of Sen. Rand Paul’s nearly 13-hour filibuster of the White House’s secretive drone program, GOP senators Lindsay Graham (S.C.) and John McCain (Ariz.) took the opportunity to deride his efforts as absurd and “not helpful.”

“I don’t think that what happened yesterday is helpful to the American people,” Sen. McCain said after reading aloud a Wall Street Journal editorial that characterizes Sen. Paul’s concerns as “ridiculous.”

“To allege that … our government would drop a drone hellfire missile on Jane Fonda,” he continued, “that brings the conversation from a serious discussion about U.S. policy to the realm of the ridiculous.”

He also accused Sen. Paul of giving ammunition to the filibuster reform crowd:

Meanwhile, Sen. Lindsay Graham had this to say: “This idea that we’re going to use a drone to attack a citizen in a cafe in America is ridiculous.”

See for yourself:

Later, while speaking on the Senate floor, Sen. Graham continued his criticism of Sen. Paul.

“I don’t remember any of my GOP colleagues coming here to say Bush would kill Americans with a drone,” said Graham. “The chance of you being killed by a drone because you went to a Tea Party rally … is zero.”

Sen. Graham even brought a chart and everything:

Basically, as of this writing, the White House’s unofficial response to Sen. Paul’s filibuster has come from two GOP senators and a Wall Street Journal editorial.

Got a call from the Republican party wanting some of my money to “fight the Obama agenda.” Haven’t stopped laughing since. Uh….nope. No more “dough for dopes”. Do they really think we trust the Republican party anymore with idiots like Graham and McCain leading the pack?

I get those phone calls for GOP money also and I hang up after they 2012 Romney/LOSER.

I STILL DONATE TO GOP CANDIDATES that I like. In 2008 and 2012 I went to the websites of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Tim Scott, Alan West and Michelle Bachaman among many others AND DONATED DIRECTLY TO THEM.

YOU MUST DONATE TO GOP CANDIDATES THEMSELVES if you are not giving money to the GOP Party. If you do not, the left will win because the GOP candidates will have no money.

These two RINOs are just pissed because they were upstaged and outclassed. They are more upset about a percieved abuse of Senate rules than a serious violation of Constitution? Dinosaurs like these two have been in DC too long and need to be retired where they can do no harm.

It’s sad to watch McCain and Graham destroying what little credibility they have left. Holder and Obama were being as slippery as eels and Rand Paul wouldn’t let them get away with it. A thank you from Lindsey and Johnny would have been appropriate. Instead, Frick and Frack are working to make sure that Obama’s assurances and $3 will only get you a latte. Talk about your useful idiots.

Very simple: I STAND WITH RAND!!!
As for McCain and Graham, these two putzes should be tested for competency. As long as people like these are around, we can be sure to lose more and more of our freedoms and liberty. To the progressives, we are frogs in a vat of water. The McCain’s and Graham’s of Congress and their ilk are very, very slowly turning up the heat. We will soon be boiled to death and without champions of liberty like Rand Paul, we will never know what hit us!

Having two democrats instead of these two would be prefereable to me (I’m a conservative). The outcome of their votes and actions would be the same, but I wouldn’t constantly be expecting more from them. . . . or at least SOMETHING from them.

    Ass-wipes for Obama.

THAT’S IT!!! THESE GUYS ARE DONE!!!! Show them the door…kick them out…while we still have a country to save! I watched the entire filibuster yesterday and was amazed at how FEW supporters of Senator Paul were there. Thank God for those who were there, including my Senator from Pennsylvania. Thank you Senators, for your courage and wisdom.

These old political Republicans are part of the problem where the U.S. is today. They need to be put out to pasture and let the young leaders take over who still care for our country.

I just wonder if they actually listened hard to any of the the Brilliant points Rand made last night? or did their aides just cherry pick a few points lik on eJane Commie Fonda, and use that to make their point? I am really upset they are not giving praise to Rand,,,, guess they were to busy eating and laughing it up with King obama,,,,,and once again allowing themselves to be used and manipulated like puppets for later use……when obama smears and blames them again,,,
