Adam Carolla’s Profanity-Laced Rant Against the Huffington Post: ‘You Guys All Have Blood on Your Hands’

Comedian Adam Carolla ripped the Huffington Post for trying to stir up a racial storm over an interview he had with California Lieutenant Gov. Gavin Newsom involving black and Latino success.

“The Huffington Post has come out with a story that says ‘Adam Carolla to Gavin Newsom: ‘What’s wrong with blacks and Latinos?’’” Carolla said on his podcast Friday. “That’s not what I said to Gavin Newsom. I didn’t bring up blacks and Latinos. He brought up blacks and Latinos.”

He continued, “But let me take this moment to now talk to all the p—–s that are out there trying to stir things up and turn me into a racist. I got news for you: Me saying parents should stick around and raise the children – me saying families and cultures should focus on education — is not radical or revolutionary. It’s the f–king truth.”

Carolla, who has harshly criticized the “slanted to the left” media before, said Newsom “is the system” and knows what it takes to fix it but won’t because he’s a “f–king coward.”

“Guys like Huffington Post — you guys f–king line up behind these people and let me tell you something, you guys all have blood on your hands, because the problem could be fixed. It’s a problem, and it’s a problem that involves bodies. People die every year,” Carolla said.

He continued, “There’s people getting shot. There’s brown people shooting other brown people on the streets of Chicago every f–king day of the week. And you guys sit there silently. If it was a Sandy Hook situation or anything else, you’d be all up in arms. But you can’t say a word, so you sit there with your f–king coward hands over your f–king little cowardly soup coolers.”

“And then when somebody has the guts to say something — to speak the truth for f–king one hot second, you jump up his ass and call him a racist. Thus, you silence the media. Now you perpetuate the problem,” Carolla said.

    I’m glad you posted this on the Blaze. I and,most likely others, tipped you on this 2-3 hours ago. You should really post the link to Huffpo where they air the conversation between Gavin Newsom and Adam Corolla and where Huffpo accuse Adam of racism. Listen to to Gavin dance around the subject and the reason why so many people are in the hell that they are in. Let’s keep Adam’s pirate ship going! Let’s buy some Mangria!

      It’s interesting to see the difference in the headline between the Daily Caller link posted above and the HuffPo article.

      Then, of course, there is the content of the article itself.

      I read your link first, and admittedly it looks like Adam is racist…then I read the Daily Caller article and it looks like he was asking honest questions and the politician was doing what they do best, dodge.

      I think Adam has a point – the HuffPo is being disingenuous.

      So Keaton if you were a real felon in Chicago, as opposed to a hypothetical one, you would know that there is no freakin’ way you are going to buy a gun at a gun show or from Craigslist. It doesn’t happen. First of all, you can’t list / sell a gun on Craigslist. You’d be hard pressed to find someone to sell you a gun legitimately anywhere on the internet. That’s a good way to get popped by the cops in a sting…I know this because we…the police…Have tried it several times. We almost never catch felons..we usually get legitimate buyers looking for a good deal. Felons are leery of internet purchases. Most felons get their guns in the ‘hood from the black market, buying stolen guns from other knuckleheads who deal in illicit guns. Stolen guns are moved up and down the interstates just like dope is. The crooks know who the “go to” guy is in their area. The only thing registration would prove is who the gun was stolen from, not who stole it. Since most stolen guns are reported, cops generally know who they are stolen from when recovered, so registration means nothing to law enforcement. Aren’t you getting tired of the kool-aid yet?

I can have a conversation with you, take a few words out of context, and make you seem like Adolph-Bleeping-Hitler! Newsome is the one who is saying that blacks and latinos don’t have access to checking accounts. Corolla just wanted to know what it is about blacks and latinos that prohibits them from having those accounts.

      SENDTHEMETEORS, There is a difference between promoting general welfare and “common good.” Promoting general welfare involves creating a society in which all can thrive. Common good is a myth created by the progressive movement, and generally involves harming the interests of one to benefit another. The Constitution says nothing about a common good.

Every dang time they bring up the poor, the uneducated, the ignorant, they are always really only talking about blacks and hispanics. As a hispnic, I’m not proud of our reputation but understand why we have it. So I’ve gone out of my way to get an education, to move ahead, and to make sure my kids get ahead. And it ****** me off these liberals go out of their way to keep people poor.

      How much editing was done with the audio? How many comments were taken out of context? Have you ever encountered the word “imply” in your life? Add it to your vocabulary – the Huffpo implied that Carolla was being a racist when he verbally cornered Newsom. Low information people ordinarily don’t look beneath the surface for the truth, so the spin done by Huffpo tends to stick.

      The Democrat Party is the party that has been enabling poverty and the dissolution of the the black family for generations. When Jim Crow laws were no longer acceptable the Great Society was invented to keep blacks under the thumb of the government through hand-outs and financial incentives to abandon the traditional family unit. More kids, more money, no dad, more money.

      Facts to the contrary be damned, it’s been full speed ahead on the institutionalization of single parent poverty among black families in America. Remember when Dan Quayle was mocked by the uber-chic Left for daring to point out that the celebration of single parenthood was a bad thing that would lead to societal decay?

      The War of Poverty has failed utterly with trillions of dollars over 50 years making not a dent in the percentage of the population living in poverty, so what’s the answer…apparently spend more money in a misguided attempt to re-write human nature.

      The Libs are quick to point out that discrimination is the cause of these woes but in the early 20th century when Blacks were surely more discriminated against than now, the illegitimacy rate in Black families was well under that among Whites.

      Allen West and others dare to point out that the Democrats are not friends of the Black community and they’re branded racists or Uncle Toms for doing so, but the important question is by whom. Who stands to gain by keeping a large portion of the Black community dependent on governmen

      Ladies and Gentlemen…one has to remember how JZS/METEORS operates. First of all…he’s another in the long line of lefty trolls that likes to post under different names.       @Mamiesgirl Thanks for posting the original interview. I have an answer for Gavin Newsom. You can get an account if you get ANY support from the govt. Your own paycheck as well as foodstamps or any other govt help, all can go into the same account. Here’s the real reason Black and Hispanic men can’t get a checking account. IT’S NOT TRUE. There’s lots of help IF YOU WANT A CHECKING ACCOUNT.

      Married men have access to a checking account and, go out and get one. Deadbeat dad’s don’t want an account. They go to the check cashing places so the govt can’t catch them. It’s a lot harder to find a man and force payments if he doesn’t have a checking account.

      I wanted to mention something disturbing when I replied to a story on Huffingtonpost.com. There was a story of Marco Rubio’s answer to Obama’s State of the Union Address. I noticed nearly all of the responses were hateful and anti-conservative, so I posted a pro-Rubio response. I was busy and came back later, and I noticed there were 37 pages of new comments in a mere 2 hours! So I replied back again, with respectful, but conservative comments. No curse words, no hate speech, as was being used by many of the liberal posters. My post was immediately flagged as “Under Review” and never posted. So then I posted a much shorter comment, and it “snuck” through the Huffingtonpost Censors. But later, any post I made, even “I agree with you” was immediately flagged as “Under Review” and never posted! So Huffingtonpost.com is a Liberal Echo Chamber that engages in blatant Censorship of all conservative viewpoints. I know, not a surprise to most Blaze readers, but somehow, I expected more. Disappointing.

    What do you expect from someone that had a show called ‘Crank Yankers’ on television (also The Man Show)? Not really sure what that means, but the imagination provides the possibilities.
    But to look beyond the language, he is correct. People, women, CHILDREN are shot everyday in Chicago, and no one hears about it unless it’s on the local news. These Anti-Gun-Nuts do not care a flip about inner city violence, or all the children that have been shot. They do not care about the illegal gun trade in these areas.
    Gun Control is not about guns, it is about Controlling the Masses in order to further the agenda of the radical left without resistance.

      Way to Go, Carolla……..love your passion. I talk the same way (mostly in private) but serious times call for passion and sometime those words simply say what you need to get attention and emphasis.

      You are completely right about everything, especially that kids need a mom & dad who care and teach them right from wrong, not a single mom with a series of men in her life who confuse the kids. ouch!

      Correct. Every gun related homicide that occurs in Chicago is proof that gun control laws do not work. But there is even more to it than that. The mainstream media tries to ignores ALL of the violence, the perils and the social problems in ALL of the Liberal bastions.       Anothercomment… considering much of the legislation surrounding gun control addresses these problems exactly. I fail to see your point. Gun control legislation addresses illegal gun trade to a point of exhaustion. Plus universal back ground checks and gun registration both help to keep guns out of felons hands. and makes it much easier to identify the criminal by a gun used or found at a crime scene. Though inner city crime will never be solved as long as there is still such poverty in those areas.. it would help. The only true “fix” for inner city violence is a strengthened infrastructure and a stronger school system.. but that takes spending.. So sadly I doubt the GOP will ever back legislation to fix the problem they complain about so often.

I mean if it had prevented a crime we would not know about it because the crime was prevented. plus, we have never had universal background checks in this country so there has always been an easy loophole for criminals. We do know however that over the last 14 years background checks have prevent 987,578 gun sales to criminals… so draw your own conclusion

      TH777.. so far background checks have prevented 987,578 felons from purchasing a weapon…. Though we will not be able to see the true effects until background checks are universal.. as of now a convicted murderer can still easily buy a gun off of craigslist or at a gun show.

      The media reported on one particular shooting ONLY because there was an Obama connection. The First Lady made some comments about THIS ONE shooting. For all the other anonymous (to her) victims of Chicago thug violence, not a peep. If it doesn’t touch the Obamas, it doesn’t count.

Not only were a majority of those false hits corrected earlier, they are eerily similar to other fed faux pas such as having Teddy Kennedy on the No Fly list five separate times. Another thing with those hits, the government never follows them up. Meaning they do not enforce the existing laws.

      KEATONC333, Okay, I’ll just take it that your further naivete in this matter is because you have never filled our the Federal Firearms Purchase Form 4473. Dumbass, even though I have been out of LE for close to twelve years, I could use the computer that I am on right now to do a follow up. Since the form will contain the person’s full name, SSN, address and other pertinent information it would really help to notify local LE authorities if a real criminal or former criminal that should be on that list does get a follow up. The local LEOs would really get a boost when it comes to trying to find out why such a person in their own backyard is trying to purchase a firearm. But, that is not the reason the purchases are stopped. It is usually a mistake on their part and they would rather build a “numbers” base for those like you to sling around like a dead cat. Not doing a follow up prevents the majority of false hits from embarrassing them.

Every Child who was given those drugs are too. If you wanted to buy a gun and they did a full background check on you you would fail. You see, this is all part of the progressive plan. ADHD is classified as a mental problem. I don’t think you ever had it but progressive teachers don’t understand that Children are full of energy.

      AS FOR SOCIALISM, it is occurring as we speak. Except to make it more acceptable, and to pass it off humorously, it has been called ‘nanny state’. The funds issued on the EBT cards every month, happens to be a glaring form of SOCIALISM. For MEDICS (again, my training), the first Saturday night after the 1st of the month when those funds are issued are the most active night of a month. People in these areas find ways to use these funds to get high, get drunk, get into bloody and into life threatening situations, and the calls are off the chart. And KEATON, we ALL are paying for those rides.
      I have been face to face with precious children that look at me with eyes so full of confusion, eyes which have seen thing far beyond their comprehension. And I know, I am looking at the next generation of that same societal choice.

      Adam Corolla grew up in an impoverished area where he heard this kind of language all of the time. And during that same time period, the vulgar comedy recordings from Richard Pryor and Cheech & Chong were the rage for teenagers who emulated them. When during a young person’s formative years, profanity becomes ingrained into their vocabulary, it is always there. It becomes part of that person’s normal thought flow. Sure such a person can refrain from actually speaking the profanity, but the profanity is still there in the lingual thought flow. And can only be removed from his speech by consciously interrupting the speech/thought process which disrupts the cognition activity and causes slow speech, or pauses in speech. Neither of which lean themselves well to a talk show host.

      I’m been hanging out over there a bit out of curiosity. It’s a miserable site filled with tabloid type stories and communist propaganda. The comment section is absolutely disgusting and filled with hatred for the most part. I’ve never seen so much hatred and bullying from people that claim to be compassionate.

    As for being called racist, it now has ZERO meaning.
    If someone calls me a racist I just laugh (LOL) and wear it as a badge of honor because I know that I do not think I am better due to my skin color. It just means I got under their skin (hahaha).

    I like all colors and find beauty in all colors.
    However I do believe that I am WAY BETTER than my accusers.

    The days are forever gone that you can throw the word racist around and have it mean something, Thanks to Jesse, Al and all the other p-i-m-ps out there.

    I actually think Adam was taking it easy on CA elected officials. He gave them a pass on being inept because “it’s their job to get re-elected”. Sorry Adam, that’s not their job. If they can’t fix stuff then they’re no good at it (I suspect the wouldn’t be good at anything).

Newsflash: We’re already splashed on every liberal media source in America and abroad and if they can’t find something to attack us for, then they just use selective editing to create the story that they want. They control the narrative. I am Sick and tired of “playing nice” which, for the record, is the same thing as “playing smart”.

    I might just be spiff balling here but I’ve never seen the Bushmaster rifle that was supposedly used at Sandy Hook. Furthermore, the body count was exaggerated as proven by the small amount of funerals, thereof. For all we truly know, the killer used a big knife. My point is that we can’t give the Lib media an inch or we end up with total hysteria. As the article indicates, just look at the Huffington Post and then reach for the barf bag.

      I still haven’t found any way to explain how a bunch of cops and swat team members could walk into a building with brass casings strewn all over the floors and think that .223 casings were 9mm or .40 cal casings. Its not possible at all actually.
      The mass murder there happened and I don’t doubt that for a moment. The mechanism(s) are what has been redefined and used for political leverage by a regime that deeply fears an adequately armed populace.

      MAX… lol…. your point is taken… but what was his good point? Inflated body counts and such? Give me a break. My entire town is not sitting around inventing dead kids for the sake of Dianne Feinstein.

      I don’t know all of the answers and i have tons of questions myself but I don’t have the luxury of speculating about Sandy Hook from the outside.
      i know these people and it happened in a building i attended summer camp, cub scouts, and played park& rec basketball in.

      I don’t know jack crap about ballistics but the thing f’n happened.
      The cornerstone of my life is absolutely devastated from it…

      It drives me nuts to hear people dismiss it as phony.

      BESTINFECTION: You should make a little study on ballistics. The Bushmaster fires the .223 and not the S&W .40 or 9mm calibers. I assure you (factually) there is a big difference. There is a very big difference. The bottom line is that you’ve been played and that would drive anyone “nuts”!
