‘The View’ Shoots Down Rumor That Conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck Is Being Kicked Off the Show

(TheBlaze/AP) — No need to say goodbye to Elisabeth Hasselbeck. She’s staying put as a co-host of “The View,” despite reports claiming the show’s lone conservative is “too extreme and right wing” for viewers.

Series co-creator Barbara Walters said the story was “particularly false” on Monday’s edition of the ABC daytime talk show, adding: “We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave.”

“There’s a particularly false story that keeps getting picked up about Elisabeth’s alleged departure saying we don’t approve of her conservative views,” Walters said of the rumors. “The truth is… we value and appreciate her point of view, it’s important to us, because it helps give the show perspective and balance.”

35-year-old Hasselbeck has been on “The View” for a decade, but Joy Behar’s announcement last week that she plans to exit this August may have made the story seem more plausible. Behar was among the first co-hosts with Walters when “The View” debuted in 1997.

Besides Walters, the remaining panel includes Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.

  I was taking up for HASSELBACK……..liberalism and feminism was made so ugly people (especially ugly women) have a place to congregate. The liberal left want her off the show big time. The View producers want progressives which suck up to all trendy new age groupie hug types. When you question the values of these weird people like Elizabeth does on occasion, and rankles the groupies like Joy Blowhard or Whoopie Goldbrick. There isn’t “views” opinioned on this show. It’s a bunch of squawking harpies sounding out over Elizabeth voicing an opinion.
Hell hath no fury, as a sharp tongued harpie liberal like Joy or Whoopie.

“balance”?! 80% Liberal is ‘balanced’? Keep Elizabeth and replace Joyless Behar with Ann Coulter.
There would still be a majority of Liberals, but the intellectual balance would be 90% Conservative.

As our government becomes more and more in tune with the irrational, emotion based thought process of the female mind our country becomes more irrational. The truth is that Rush Limbaugh garners about 30 million listeners daily and the View boasts approximately 2 million, if even that.
Hassleback is the only eye candy on the show.
If the question is ‘offensive conservatism’ and the network is ABC and you are expecting conservatism……then turn the channel to Fox News.

That white chick got a hot body!” In other news: Moochelle Obama was seen stuffing her face with pie off set when she heard the President’s comments about Hasselbeck. Fear struck the hearts of all staffers on the set as she pulverized nearby fruit with her hands while stuffing her pie hole. With pie. Lots of pie. Copious amounts of pie.
