The Making of a Pope: 36 Pictures of Pope Francis I from Past to Present
On Wednesday the College of Cardinals selected Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina as the Roman Catholic Church’s new pope.
Bergoglio, who has chosen the name Francis, is the first pope from the Americas.
We’ve compiled pictures from Buenos Aires, from the now Pope Francis’ earlier years, and from the process leading up to his selection, announcement and his first greeting to the crowds in the Vatican.

Posted on March 14, 2013 at 9:15amWhat worries the sane most is why people of color seem to naturally hate white people. Even the whites that have supported them. Religious people that wear crowns and ridiculously expensive clothes are too self aggrandizing to help find real justice.

Posted on March 14, 2013 at 2:59amHate to say it, but I believe in less than two years, they will be repeating this process.
How long can this Pope last? He’s 76 years old, only has one lung, and is overweight.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 10:40pmIt is too soon to tell what kind of Pope Francis will be, but if St. Francis of Assisi is truly his Patron Saint, and he strives to be like him, then choosing this Cardinal to be Pope might have been very wise. The world needs more people like him. I can’t say that I’m not disappointed that Cardinal Dolan wasn’t chosen, and spreading American views would be refreshing given all the anti-Americanism that our own President spreads, but maybe next time the world will be ready for the truth of freedom. Pope Francis might just be the one to pave that road.

Posted on March 14, 2013 at 12:42amAgreed, Tigress, particularly if the American press actually can bring itself to honestly cover the future Pope (highly doubtful), it might be a great comparison to the current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Unfortunately, I understand that Pope Francis is strongly against killing the unborn, so I anticipate the Pope Bashing to begin tomorrow on MSNBC.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 9:42pmEveryone, here is proof that this pope is the false prophet. Read the following article:
http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-horror-buenos-aires-journalist.html Let us all pray that
Also, Peter the Roman is not an earthly Pope, he is the heavenly Pope that will lead the remnant Catholic Church that will be forced underground by the False Prophet. If you are interested in current prophecy that is demonstrating its validity by the happenings of these days, check out: http://www.thewarningsecondcoming.com/messages/latest-messages/ These messages foretold the exit of Pope Benedict XVI a year ahead of time.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 10:33pmSince when is the Pope even considered to be a PROPHET? The Pope is the LEADER of the Church, not a PROPHET. In all my life, and being a Catholic, I’ve NEVER heard any Catholic ever refer to the Pope as a prophet!

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 7:35pmFellow Brothers and Sisters, please do not be deceived. The false prophet is here, as predicted by the St Malachy Prophecy. William Tapley’s videos explain the true meaning of the St. Malachy prophecy, along with other end times prophecy. He is no ordinary prophet, he is the Third Eagle of the Apocalypse and Co Prophet of the End Times.
I beg you all to listen to Mr. Tapley’s prophecies and warnings. Then you can all decide for yourselves whether he is correct. Here is the link to his channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/thirdeaglebooks
To those who claim Tapley is a false prophet, ask yourselves: What does Tapley have to gain by being a “false prophet”? As far as I am aware, he is not making any money out of his prophecies nor is he asking for money from others.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 7:20pmMay the Lord be with our new Pontiff. He is a conservative on most social issues. Although it is said that he wants “social justice” he also made statements warning against “collective salvation”. He was raised poor, and maintains a simple life. Certainly not one of those “do as I say, not as I do” kind of men, read Obama. I think we will be blessed with his leadership.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 10:07pmDo you not show reverence and respect for your Mother? Why should the church be any different? Jesus had a family on earth. We respect his entire family and ask for their intercessions to pray with us on our behalf. Mary and Joseph are members of the communion of saints.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 6:58pmI pray he doe not try to promote that “social justice” idea. What is it that the so called intellectuals we hear about don’t understand about free market capitalism, not the “capitalism” that exists in the US and other countries? Why don’t they promote free market capitalism instead of social justice? JEEZ!

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 10:12pmSocial justice in the church is MUCH different than the social justice professed by the liberals. Social justice in the church is working to help out the poor and less fortunate by using time, talent, and treasure. Within the social justice of the church, it is still expected that the poor contribute as much as possible to the betterment of society as they can as well. It is expected that people work to earn what they have, and then share what they have. Unfortunately, there are not increasingly less Christian values coming through the world of business and government, and therefore the greed and selfishness takes over and ruins it for all.

Posted on March 13, 2013 at 8:52pmWell, since the American government attempted to interfere with a religious function, then it is fair that their candidates did not get chosen.

My first thought was that BALDINGBEAGLE got himself locked out again yesterday. But, I do expect him to show up for his 9 to 5 day shift tomorrow though.
