NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Former Rep. Allen West said Thursday there were some suspicious results in the November race that lost him his seat in Congress.
“I tell you what, you gotta explain to me how you can have a 4,000-vote change at 1 o’clock in the morning,” the Florida Republican and Tea Party favorite told TheBlaze at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.
St. Lucie County, Fla. election supervisors acknowledged “mistakes were made” in tabulating the votes for West and declared winner Patrick Murphy (D).
True the Vote, a Houston-based anti-voter fraud watchdog, filed suit last month demanding all election and recount records in the contest between West and Murphy.
“I am glad that the American people have stood up because what we wanted to expose was a lack of integrity in the electoral process, and if we don’t have integrity in our electoral process we don’t have the consent of the governed and that’s the good thing about what True the Vote has done,” West told TheBlaze.
West added to hints he made to TheBlaze earlier Thursday about a possible return to the political stage, saying he would leave any decision in God’s hands.
“That’s up to God. I’ll do whatever he tells me to do,” West said.

Mar. 14, 2013 at 1:34pmWest was beaten because his fellow Republicans in Florida reapportioned his district to put more Democrats in it. He needs to claim voter fraud though, because he knows the only way he’ll ever have a chance at coming back into politics is as a member of the GOP; the liberals hate him.
If he had been convinced the fraud was the reason for his loss, he wouldn’t have officially conceded on November 20th; he raised almost $20 million for his campaign and had about a million left for lawsuits.
It was establishment GOP backstabbing through redistricting, not voter fraud, that took out Allen West.

Mar. 14, 2013 at 1:35pmRe: “Unbelievable” —
Actually, regarding the presidential election, “the polls” were not off; in fact they were pretty much spot-on except for Gallup (surprising) and Rasmussen (not surprising at all). The pundits were the ones who were off, such as Glenn Beck predicting that Romney would win with about 320 electoral votes.
Incidentally, Glenn asserted that such a win for Romney would be a massive landslide, an indisputable repudiation of Obama and liberal policies. Obama won by a larger margin, but I haven’t heard Beck discussing how conservatism was decisively repudiated. Perhaps I just missed that.

Citing allegations of voter fraud, a petition posted Saturday at the White House “We the People” web site demands a recount of Tuesday’s election.
1. “In one county alone in Ohio, which was a battleground state, President Obama received 106,258 votes…but there were only 98,213 eligible voters. It’s not humanly possible to get 108% of the vote,” the petition says.
2. Melowese Richardson: Ohio native: ADMITTED to voting twice for Obama and for filling out other voter ballots for family. It is possible the woman voted 6 times for Obama. She ADMITTEd that others did the same. Bragging about voting multiple times.
3. Obama received over 99% of the vote in areas of Philadelphia where GOP poll watchers were forcibly removed
4. Obama miraculously won 99% of the vote in 44 Ohio counties with a 108 percent voter registration. STatistical impossibility.
5. By 5 pm on Election day the Election Protection Coalition reported 70,000 complaint calls
6. military vote suppressed. Ballots not counted. A military plane “mysteriously” went down with ballots on it

Mar. 14, 2013 at 4:49pmFree_Thought your thought is not so free. When an entire county in Ohio of over a million has not one single republican vote do not tell me fraud is merely a theory. Science to this day cannot explain to the quantum level the theory of gravity. Are you telling me there is room for doubt, that it is a ‘theory’, that if you dive out of a plane 5 miles up with no parachute that there is a chance you will not go splat? Some things are clearly valid facts no matter how little we understand the mechanism behind them. Whether or not we have physical evidence voter fraud is as certain as gravity. We can be equally positive it is overwhelmingly the forces on the left committing these crimes against the people, removing our right to consent to the government. Our choice has been robbed by these people and tyranny is the result.

Allen West Concedes Defeat Despite Options Still Available
Wednesday, 21 November 2012
The Allen West for Congress campaign issued a press release on Nov 20 conceding defeat. A post-election audit in this contest could have national implications if it uncovers significant illegal voting by ineligible voters, whether that be because they are non-citizens, non-existent people, or people registered multiple times. It would likely lead to similar post-election audits across the nation. Conversely, if there was only minimal illegal voting in this contest, the public has a right to verify that as well. Allen West’s decision to concede the election without a post-election audit to check for potential illegal voting may be one of the top 10 political blunders of 2012. The people who dug deep into their pockets to donate the $17 million to his campaign deserve better.

Without a reasonable explanation forthcoming many who unwaveringly supported the candidate who appeared to be the real McCoy were left with the feeling of utter betrayal … were left with the assumption that something hinky may have taken place behind the scenes and … were left with the impression that something hinky also motivated Mitt Romney as well as defeated Rupublicans in other districts not to challenge with campaign funds the suspicious voting outcomes that allowed Barack Obama to emerge the victor.

Ex-Rep. West uses campaign funds for self-named foundation
Thursday, January 24, 2013
Allen West, the outspoken former Republican lawmaker, was always a prodigious fundraiser, drawing money from far outside his Florida district. He had $1.5 million in the bank even after mounting an unsuccessful recount challenge to his November 2102 loss at the polls. Now, he’s transferred a half-million dollars in donated campaign funds to two charity groups: the Allen West Foundation and another entity sharing the new foundation’s post office box address.

February 5, 2013
Federal rules bar former lawmakers from using leftover campaign money for their personal use, but a review of new reports show their contributors’ dollars pay for a wide range of expenses. Of the 82 House members who were defeated or resigned from the last Congress, more than one in four had more than $100,000 remaining in their campaign accounts at the end of 2012, according to a USA TODAY analysis of recently filed Federal Election Commission reports.
West, a Tea Party favorite known for his fiery rhetoric and prodigious fundraising, has among the biggest leftover campaign war chests. He ended the year with a stockpile of more than $900,000 – even after donating $500,000 to the new groups Dec. 28.
The Allen West Foundation and American Legacy Guardians each received $250,000.The organizations share a post office box in Boca Raton, Fla., according to campaign filings.
In an interview, West declined to describe the groups’ missions or whom they would employ. “That will be coming out later this month,” he said.
Asked why he used campaign money, West said, “It’s something that’s been done before.”

Then when West conceded prematurely to Patrick Murphy … I and others felt so betrayed. There was obvious voter fraud in St. Lucie. Mar. 14, 2013 at 9:53pmOn election day Obama retired early to shoot a few hoops. Romney made two additional champaign stops. My thoughts were “Obama may be relived to simply ride off into the pages of history, set for life, as a celebrity. Or in retrospect was he assured a win?

Mar. 14, 2013 at 12:36pmIf what West claims is true, all of the Democrat election judges at that voting location should go to jail. Do the same if Republicans commit voting fraud. If the fraud caused a candidate to lose the election, the penalty should be five years of hard time – minimum sentence. The candidate in question should also be investigated thoroughly, with jail time a certainty, if he or she knew of the fraud.
This is our country. We need to make sure elections are honest and above board. If some peiece of garbage cheats to win an election, what will he do once in power?

Mar. 14, 2013 at 12:35pmMr West’s concerns should not be taken lightly, but they will, but only by they who are mischievous in nature. A woman boasted ‘I voted for Obama 6 times,’ thus nullifying five votes at least. If there was an honest vote, Mr Obama may be parking cars, and Allen West would not be filing a complaint.
Who counts the votes? Is there any doubt that computer programs were created to funnel the tally in a certain direction? Technology in nefarious hands, is obviously a dangerous thing. I still do not know more than a handful who voted for Obama, go figure- the long lines were against the current Pres, but somehow, someway, the votres went the other way. Clever.
But Allen West is merely voicing the plaque of the diabolical, and like all good men, he will be crucified.

Tell that to the iraqi policeman who was collaborating with jihadis that West had singing like a bird after he fired his service pistol next to the iraqi’s ear. The result was saving West’s men from a planned jihadi ambush.
Yeah…sounds like a cry baby to me.

Mar. 14, 2013 at 1:19pmThe same allen west that avoided a court martial and dishonourable discharge? Yeah he is a real man dodging the process that he knew would find him guilty for what he did by using loopholes. A real patriot that wants others to answer for their misdeeds and avoids them himself.
What a great man!!!!

By the way…when you’re posting as MONICNE…you used to be the die-hard defender of all things armed forces..yet you rail against West ( a man who’s actions prevented an ambush in the men under his command) at every opportunity.
My only conclusion is that you put your puerile politics above the very service men and women you purport to advocate.
Oh you’ll deny all this I know..but your posts have already betrayed your slimy nature.

Did your white oponent get 99% of the african american vote?
They probably did. A democrat can’t win an honest election.

Mar. 14, 2013 at 12:28pmCorruption in the voting process has taken a very ugly turn beginning in the 2008 races. Some people won races because of this fraud. It has to get cleaned up or this is another nail in this country’s coffin.

I know, I followed him for a long time and liked him.. but every important vote that came along, he always seemed to do the opposite of what was right with an excuse and reason why. I just think I’m getting tired of trusting anyone of these guys and will play the wait and see approach..cuz we all know talk is cheap but actions speak volumes.
