Benghazi Survivors ‘Told to Be Quiet’ by Obama Administration, Claims GOP Senator (Updated With Full Interview)

Benghazi Survivors Told to Be Quiet by Obama Administration, Claims Sen. Lindsey Graham

US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) listens during a press conference on Capitol Hill March 7, 2013 in Washington, DC. The lawmakers spoke about the reported arrest of Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, the son-in-law of Osama Bin Laden, who was taken into custody in the Middle East and is now allegedly being held in New York. The Obama administration has told the injured survivors of the Benghazi terror attack “to be quiet,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) alleges in an exclusive interview with Fox News.

While Congress presses for more information surrounding the infamous Sept. 11, 2012 terror attack, Graham says the survivors feel as if they can’t reach out and tell their stories. Critics of the White House’s handling of Benghazi say survivors have been completely inaccessible to Congress and the media.

When asked about Benghazi survivors, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters, “I’m sure that the White  House is not preventing anyone from speaking.”

Graham told Fox News he isn’t buying it. He said, “the bottom line is they feel that they can’t come forth, they’ve been told to be quiet.”

“We cannot let this administration or any other administration get away with hiding from the American people and Congress, people who were there in real time to tell the story,” the senator from South Carolina added.

More from Fox News:

Graham continued to voice concern about the inaccurate or incomplete accounts that came from the Obama administration in the days following the attack. He is among a handful of Republican lawmakers pressing for access to and more information about the survivors.

A congressional source tells Fox News that Hill staffers investigating the attack believe about 37 personnel were in Benghazi on behalf of the State Department and CIA on Sept. 11. With the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others, about 33 people were evacuated. Of them, a State Department official confirmed there were three diplomatic security agents and one contractor who were injured in the assault – one seriously.

A diplomatic security source told Fox News the State Department diplomatic security agent who was in the most serious condition suffered a severe head injury during the second wave of the attack at the annex.

This agent was described as the likely State Department employee visited at Walter Reed Medical Center by Secretary of State John Kerry in January.

An official with the State Department did not deny the account of the diplomatic security source and did not comment on the agent’s injuries or whether the agent was visited by Kerry or Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state.

Other GOP congressman, like Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), argue the Obama White House has offered “zero” documents on the survivors, much less provided names of the people attacked in Libya.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) on Friday said the Obama administration is “covering up something” in regards to the Benghazi attack, which left four Americans dead, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, State Department employee Sean Smith and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.

More information regarding this story, including the full interview with Sen. Graham, will air on Fox News’ “Special Report With Bret Baier” Friday at 6 p.m. ET.

Well, German isn’t all that bad of a language to learn if one applies oneself. The Europeans (other than Germans) had to learn it rather quickly during WWII. It was either learn German or be a lampshade.

True enough, the Germans won’t have any “problem” dealing with the dirty problems that Americans won’t do.

Now, I have no problems with the German people. They are nice enough (Now they are…they were not so nice during the war) and I like them.

The real question …”Why are we turning an American Air Base over to the Germans with almost no one knowing about it?”

it must be 10 to 15 years ago there was a bit on the late night news about an afb in the desert where as the germans were shown raising their flag. it wasn’t a long or particularly informative and it seemed to be cut a bit short. i did’t really pay to much attention so i missed a lot of it but it got my attention. i searched the news for a long time but never heard anything about it. over the years it has come back to my mind. i think i have my answer

The trolls are out and apparently reporting comments that call their BS and disagree with their Alex Jones lunacy here. They just like their Progressive allies for the one world try to shut down your free speech and disagreement with them especially when you blow their argument out of the water about a U.S. base being given away to the UN.

Just like the story of the missing anthrax during the Clinton administration when they counted the storehouse and it made the news and no one said another thing about it. Everyone forgot. But I remember the story in the 90′s.

We are not fools here unless you believe what Alex Jones is saying. You A.J. freaks need to stop trying to purge intelligent comments from intelligent people.

I’m a truck driver. I recently delivered a load to the Fort Belvoir military base just outside of Washington DC. Going through one of the parimiter security gates I was asked to show my ID, bill of lading, and open the hood of my truck so they could do a complete inspection of the truck inside and out. No problem…pretty standard security. Guards did not wear US military issue uniforms. They were dressed in unmarked swat type uniforms. Ok, so maybe they were civilian contractors…that is until one female opened her mouth to speak…she had a very pronounced foreign accent…maybe german or swiss….not sure. Just an observation. Make of it what you will.

Chinese and UN armies have been coming here for a couple of years now and Russians have worked on trains to install shackles for people hauling and they are talking about it to the people who are finding them also. And the mainstream news cannot print this as they are owned and operated by the NWO planning commission, the Bilderburg group. The sad thing is that less than 20% of americans know what the whole rest of the world knows is happening here and of those, most will not care until the foreign armies are at their doors in the middle of the night to haul them away. This is a nearly 300 year old agenda and the past four presidents have already created all the laws necessary to create the NWO and to initiate Martial law. And yet, idiots on this site still think the Republicans and a change in president will stop all this. They clearly have no idea who the Bush families are.

Interesting, that the Germans are still measured at the happenings around WWII. Almost two generations after the war….

How would you like it, if you were measured at the genocide of 54 million native americans?

Besides that, I would really be interested how stupid bi…es like Pamela Rae Schuffert get there “informations” There are still more GI’s on german soil than german soldiers ever will set foot on US soil. Not to speak of the nuclear arsenal.

And don’t mix up “german soldiers” with “genuine military”. Our guys are well-diggers for the rag-heads in Afghanistan and they are only usefull in holding back the enemy until genuine military arrives.

The plan was to allow the Amassador and staff to be taken alive. Then traded for the Blind Sheik. I bring our attention to exhibit A. The government media began floating trial balloons about the Muslim Brotherhood wanting the Blind Sheik to be released. That was reported on fairly regularly for about 2-3 weeks. Then when our brave Navy Seals intervened the protestors felt betrayed and decided to kill everyone. In turn our Muslim in Chief felt betrayed and let the Navy Seals die as payback. I would not be surprised to find out that he was actually on the phone with rebel leaders during the attack instead of the cover story claims Netanyahu.

Kennedy was in Dallas at Johnson’s request to help unify the Democratic party. Wouldn’t it be political suicide for Johnson to admit that as the most powerful Democrat in his state he could not hold the Democratic Party together. Who would have gained the most from Kennedy’s death? Did Johnson ever have any hope of ever becoming president with all the Kennedy family popularity at the time. Could Johnson have lived long enough to be president after two terms each for John, Robert and Ted Kennedy? During the assassination investigation the squids shot plenty of ink in the water to make things confusing; the Mafia, Castro, the Russians, Marxist extremists but no one inside our own political system were suspect. Many of the assassination investigators moved on to much bigger and better things after the investigation was closed, two of the investigators eventually became president. Some times there are simple answers to questions that the people in charge never ask. Who would have benefitted the most from Kennedy’s death?

Talk about a worthless response that purposefully says nothing conclusive.

You need to dissect his statement like a lawyer would. Specifically, Carney said, “I’m sure the (White House) is not preventing anyone from speaking.”
Well yeah, if you consider a building made of wood and stone can’t do any such thing anyway. I would have preferred him to say, The president, nor anyone who works for him, is preventing anyone from speaking. If you think I am splitting hairs, this is how these weasels obfuscate the truth all the time. They speak in terms of what can be technically called the truth. Remember Clinton’s insane twisting and contorting of the truth during his impeachment; “That depends on what the definition of is, is.”

Oh yeah….it wasn’t “lack of interest”……it was a lack of loyalty.

They all wish to express the great heroic feats of courage President Obama performed that day, but the President being the humble man he is, has asked them not to speak about it.

This admin. thinks if they keep playing these stall tactics, the whole Benghazi thing will eventually go away. I hope they’re wrong.

Isn’t it odd that not a single relative or friend of any of the 32 so-called survivors have come forward ? Not one? Not a single person in the US knew someone that was in Benghazi on the day of the attack? And why hasn’t anyone interviewed a single ********** over there?

Witness tampering. That’s what the mafia does best. Chicago is just being Chicago.

All too true, and I imagine the threats were of the kind that goes, “Keep silent or we do in your family…”

CHIPS: We have all witnessed how the Democrat Media Assassination Squad has operated since the Obama Administration began to Occupy the White House. Zimmerman found ” guilty” , daily, in the media for months. Reputations and careers shredded. OWS mobs clogging city streets. MIC checks. ACORN bullhorns in bankers’ front yards. Glitter bombers at political rallies. Carney put- downs at press conferences. Can only imagine what goes on BEHIND the scenes with these guys.
