Rand Paul Introduces ‘Life at Conception Act’
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul on Thursday introduced the “Life At Conception Act,” saying that the “right to life is guaranteed to all Americans.”
“I plan to ensure this is upheld,” the Republican senator added.
“Sen. Paul introduced S.583, a bill that would implement equal protection under the 14th Amendment for the right to life of each born and unborn human,” the senator’s office said, per a press release.
“This legislation does not amend or interpret the Constitution, but simply relies on the 14th Amendment, which specifically authorizes Congress to enforce its provisions,” his office adds.
Here is what Section 1 of the 14th Amendment states:
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
The bill has 15 cosponsors (all Republican) including Sens. John Barrasso (Wyo.), John Boozman (Ark.), Richard Burr (N.C.), Daniel Coats (Ind.), Thomas Coburn (Okla.), Michael Enzi (Wyo.), Deb Fischer (Neb.), Charles “Chuck” Grassley (Iowa), John Hoeven (N.D.), James “Jim” Inhofe (Okla.), Mike Johanns (Neb.), Jerry Moran (Kan.), James Risch (Idaho), John Thune (S.D.), and Roger Wicker (Miss.)
“The Life at Conception Act legislatively declares what most Americans believe and what science has long known — that human life begins at the moment of conception, and therefore is entitled to legal protection,” Sen. Paul said.
“The right to life is guaranteed to all Americans in the Declaration of Independence and ensuring this is upheld is the Constitutional duty of all Members of Congress,” he added.

Women who think their bodies are recreational devices are the reason why we have so many fatherless children in American? The legal argument that women have privacy about this issue when they are unable to become pregnant of their own accord, without introducing a foreign alien substance not native to the woman’s body, should have the severe legal consequences that that language comprises of?
What about a woman’s house? She allows me in her house for lunch, and then like a pyscho bitch from hell, changes her mind, pulls out the shot gun, blows my brains out, calls authorities and says, I changed my mind, I killed somebody because I had a legal right to do it? Well, if the woman has “privacy protection” why does she have to dial 911 that she blew my brains out?
Make me a Supreme Court judge, I’ll write very easy opinions to read?

He is moving the GOP in a more libertarian direction and becoming palatable to Hispanics…. It’s genuis…

I can always choose to not have an abortion. However, I am in no place to tell another human being whether they should reproduce or not. That is not my place or business

I couldn’t be more conservative, I’ve been a Beck fan for 14 years and I believe a woman has a right to control her body when a baby is no where close to viable. I don’t believe the Republicans understand how many young women (and I’m far from young) will walk away on this issue alone. It is foolish. I know young women who only hear this issue. We can’t continue to do this.

If women are concerned about controlling their own bodies then they need to make damn sure they or their partner uses protection or just kept the pants up and/or the legs closed. If you want to get this passed, you’ll need to bring Democrats on board while still supporting the Christian view. Here’s how: read Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” The fetus is infused with blood around the 18th day following conception, thus it can be argued that this is the point that life begins, while providing the opposition with something to cling to. Actually, doesn’t the morning-after pill render abortions virtually obsolete? To draw this line in the sand try Job 38:11, “Thus far shall you come, and no further…”

As for political capital Mr. Stein, one spends his treasure on what is most important to him. For Mr Paul it’s the sanctity of human life and the defense of the constitution. at least that’s the way it appears.

People want to choose to eat and drink any size food they want but wont let others choose how they want to live. Let live and Let die. Interesting that our society shrinks in horror when children are gunned down yet the subject of abortion (actually murder) is barely more than an annoyance for many.

They shun real environmentalism (cleaning the Earth, recycling, stopping deforestation etc) and push Global Warming, a fraud globalist wealth distribution and control scam ..the Earth has been warming since the ice age, big storms and wild weather swings have always effected America only now there are a lot more people to experience them. The rise of metro areas and concrete jungle has obviously led to higher temps in those areas which is why dca always has lower snowfall than the rural areas surrounding it. Doesn’t mean global warming.
And here it’s that a foetus is not human or not alive. They believe the “life” occurs when the child is separated from the mother. That’s when I guess life just SPRINGS into the child..lol. Some even believe the life somehow gets into the baby sometime during late pregnancy. Liberals and others believe that the mother has a parasite for 9 months and has the right to kill that parasite. Problem is, a parasite defined by biology is alive and is a life. So now we are at the question of what is life? And of course they use their “science” to try and push that it isn’t a life until cut from the mother. But biology says a parasite is a life, so what is it?
Some will say “well sperm is a life too and they die all the time hehehhe”. A sperm is not a human endowed with rights by it’s creator. Liberals manipulate science.
