Coulter: Republicans ‘Pissed Away’ Senate Races ‘Through Narcissism, Greed or Stupidity’

National Harbor, Md.– Conservative author Ann Coulter said Saturday that some Republican losses in Senate races of the last election were caused by “narcissism, greed or stupidity” on behalf of the GOP’s candidates.
“The reason we don’t have the Senate is because Republicans keep screwing up,” Coulter said in her speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Certain Senate races were “just pissed away though narcissism, greed or stupidity,” she added, referring in particular to former U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin in Missouri for his “legitimate rape” comment. “We can stop encouraging candidates to show off for the base,” she declared.
Coulter also chastised the GOP for rewarding celebrity status to candidates who lose elections.
“Where’s Howard Dean’s TV show?” she asked rhetorically, referring to Fox News’s penchant for hiring failed Republican candidates as either show hosts or contributors. She used former Sen. Dennis Kucinich as an example of one Democrat who is now employed by a TV network (Fox News). “And that was only after Keelber let him out of his contract.”
Though Coulter’s speech hit on many of the issues the author is known to tackle, it was filled with a number of similar scathing and quick one-liners.
On the effects of sequestration, Coulter said “even CPAC had to cut back on speakers this year by about 300 pounds,” a reference to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s absence from the event. On the so-called “war on women” and political activist Sandra Fluke’s cry for taxpayer-subsidized birth control, Coulter said Fluke’s haircut is “birth control enough.”
During a question and answer session at the end of her speech Coulter was asked about CPAC organizers’ decision to not invite Christie to speak in an official capacity.
“Did you see his [Republican] convention speech?” she said. “It was bad.” She went on to criticize Christie for supporting amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Looking for perfection in an imperfect people leads to people like Obama being elected. Let people say what they want to say if it’s from their heart. You just stand where you stand and mind your own business. It works out best that way. And prepare.

we need more people to stand up like her, Christie was a good one but amnesty is not something we can allow, and yes, WE CAN KICK OUT 11 MILLION ILLEGALS, after all, THEY ARE ILLEGAL, if he number is too big then why can the IRS take away property of Amerian’s when all they want is a better life? I am sure the numbers are high, why does one group get to break federal law and another doesn’t? is it becuse they fly the flag of their allegance (THE MEXICAN FLAG?!!!) they have shown they are loyal to Mexico, so, send thier mooching freeloading Mexican flag flying liberal illegal ass back to MEXICO.

Ann supported Socialist Romney the lying “flip flopper”, and I predict that she will support corrupt Jeb Bush for 2016. Ann is so far to the Left as an Establishment Republican that Townhall did not even put Rand Paul on its 2016 presidential poll, although I know many Tea Party members who said before the 2012 election that they intend to support Rand Paul for 2016.

Not to mention, you’re stomping on the Constitution/BOR’s with your idiotic prohibition – AND – denying the nation a fantastically versatile resource which is a cheap, easy to produce, annually renewable and eco-friendly.
Do a little research, will ya? You’ve been misinformed by industry giants who’s products would’ve had no place in the market while legal hemp existed. Those people used racial fears/stereotypes and fear-mongering-propaganda to snooker everyone into believing pot was some devil-weed that would destroy Western Civilization when, in fact, it had benefited Man for thousands and thousands of years! Hemp/cannabis has far more uses than simply being an intoxicant. Good grief! Half the conservatives in America understand this – and are demonized for it . . . maybe by those very same industrialists and manufacturers (who would still be in big trouble today, were hemp legalized).
If you’re on a moralistic crusade, alright then. But, understand that you’re support of prohibition does a lot more to hurt your fellow man, than to help. In the internet age, continued ignorance is inexcusable. And know this, a united conservative movement is the ONLY THING that can save this country. Ann on the other hand is tireless in her appearances on TV, radio, universitites and in print, including nine books — all of which have made it onto NYT’s bestseller list. That is a ton of ACTION — all intended to wake America up to reality and what needs to be done to take America back from the communist democrat party, including their brainwashed, groomed and tyrannical messiah. Words are how we communicate our ideas and ideals. You would have us be mute apparently. Without words, we are no less confused than those at the Tower of Babbel. Do you agree everytime and all the time with anyone conservative out there? I do not. We must get past that and do better-these progs are so far ahead of us in this game, it is frightening. Posted on March 16, 2013 at 6:29pmI have found, Dr., that narcissism, combined with some semblance of conservatism, is a fairly alluring quality in women- that often skews my perception of their aesthetic features.
TEST: Picture Angelina Jolie saying “i don’t need these shoes… they would cost you, like, at least 400 pizzas” and tell me THAT’s not sexy.

Another mans trash. Yes?
We are continually subjected to faces like Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Dianne Feinstein. So yes I do find her pleasing to the eye.

Posted on March 16, 2013 at 7:04pmAhh Dr……
I’m sure you’ve noticed the post from our skeptical friend, JCLDWL, below
“Please tell me you didn’t say she is pleasing to the eye. You might want to go see an eye doctor.”
Oh boy… i’ve seen this before….
JCLDWL is clearly suffering from one of several social disorders…
He/She is either…
1. Liberal
2. Gay
3. younger than 35.
All Conservative, straight men over 35 are attracted to Ann. Laws of physics and stuff. Our case-load is too heavy… we’ll let this one go.

Posted on March 16, 2013 at 6:18pm@SOYBOMB315_II – I agree. She spent more than a year singing the praises of Chris Christie. And NOW she has changed her tune.
Ann Coulter can not be trusted. She is loud-mouthed and boisterous, both unattractive qualities in a lady.

People put far too much stock in professional entertainers without ever realizing that their job is not to help or educate us minions.. their job is to ENTERTAIN us.
Ann is entertaining.
Never look to media personalities for political guidance… only entertainment… lest yee be disillusioned.

Most her followers do not look past her rhetoric. She spouts off without shame and sometimes it is spot on. But look past the noise and see nothing but a media whore in the same vein as the No Spin Zone dude.

Posted on March 16, 2013 at 7:50pmHey Soy:
Actually, I do hope Gary Johnson runs in 2016, I would like to hear more about him though, I just hope he isn’t as extreme as Ron Paul. I am a libertarian, I have been since 1991, but I don’t agree with everything Ron Paul stood for, Johnson does have at least a moderate stance as a libertarian.
What do you like specifically about Johnson?

sorry to burst your bubble, Gary Johnson is more extreme than ron paul. Ron paul is better than gary johnson by leaps and bounds, but ron paul was not on the ballot in november. As it was, i voted for the best person on my ballot (VA), which was Gary Johnson. Gary Johnson and the Constitution Party candidate were the only ones against the status quo

Posted on March 17, 2013 at 8:34amSOY. As I’ve written before… Johnson expanded New Mexico’s public debt just as quickly during his adminsitration as Obama has during his and he did so during a monstrous economic boom rather than a time of recession. He had no record to run on when it came to fiscal restraint. Johnson did just as much damage to New Mexico’s debt profile on a percentage basis as Obama had and has nationally.
Johnson was in fact just another BIG-government promoter that grew spending at twice the rate of the economy of his state and six times as fast as population expanded. He more than doubled the State’s public debt load. He in fact expanded New Mexico’s public debt at a rate approximately equal to that of Obama. And all of that government expansion came during the “meat” of the tech and Nasdaq boom, a period during which it was easy to expand the economy faster than the government if you cared about such things you supposed small governement guy SOY.
He wasn’t going to get government out of your life when it came to marriage… he wanted to increase that involvement, by shoving the government’s nose in the bedroom of gays to go along with all the straights that are already being abused by BIG government.
Johnson was a liar on all counts. He never reduced spending, he never got the government out of your life, he in fact presided over a 75% expansion in the size of state government in New Mexico which grossly exceeded both GDP and population growth.
