Nevermind: Venezuela Won’t Be Embalming Hugo Chavez After All

Venezuela has decided not to embalm the body of late socialist leader Hugo Chavez for permanent display after all.

Information Minister Ernesto Villegas said the government’s plan was scrapped on the advice of Russian experts.

“The Russian medical commission established that in order to do the procedure, the body would have to be transported to Russia and remain there for seven to eight months,” Villegas said Friday, according to CNN.

Venezuelan officials had initially said Chavez’s body would be preserved “for all eternity.” Acting President Nicolas Maduro acknowledged Wednesday that scientists had determined the process would be “quite difficult” and that doing so was “highly unlikely.”

Chavez died March 5 after battling cancer.

  What a dirty shame. They’re so use to conning the common folk, I’m surprised they didn’t get a wax cast maker from Madam Tussaud’s wax musium to do an authentic replica of Hugo and put that on display as the real thing. They could have put a halo around his head and equiped him with wings for that angelic look.

Jesus Christ came (in part) “to destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.” This desperate attempt to deny death on the part of the Marxists; first with Lenin, then with Mao and now Chavez, is merely another vain effort to defeat death apart from the complete work of Jesus Christ. It is almost as if in their atheistic bravado they know deep down inside there really is a God and that they are on the wrong side of Him.

Just a bit of trivia with which to amaze and mystify your friends…..Henry the Eighth hung around so lone,after his death, his honor guards couldn’t take the smell. He finally,literally, exploded from internal pressure build up. Is that anyway to treat a king/????

They don’t need the body and shrine to go to when they will mandate that his photo be in every room in the nation. Like in North Korea with Kim li sung and Kim Jung-li. They will have his likeness plasters everywhere for at least the next 30+ years. Over the door will be a Cross, picture of Jesus and and a picture of Hugo. Unless there is coup and they rip down his socialism for a different kind of socialism.
