Ultra-Folksy Sarah Palin Brings CPAC Audience to Its Feet
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin delivered a barn-burning, hyper-folksy speech to conservative activists Saturday, bringing the entire audience to its feet multiple times.
Palin’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference started in an unconventional way: After she was first introduced, the crowd was shocked to see Texas Sen. Ted Cruz walk out onstage. Cruz said he was there to introduce Palin himself ahead of his keynote speech later in the afternoon.
“The mainstream media wants us to be timid and hide in a corner. And the mainstream media is absolutely convinced that women cannot be conservatives, and if they are, they especially cannot shoot really big guns and hunt grizzly bears,” Cruz said. “That’s why Governor Sarah Palin drives the mainstream media batcrap crazy.”
Cruz directly attributed his success to Palin, a key backer of his, saying: “I would not be in the U.S. Senate today if it were not for Sarah Palin.”
When Palin herself entered, the entire crowd surged for the first of many times. Palin waved energetically as she was welcomed, then immediately thanked Cruz.
“The senator is the keynote speaker and he would lower himself to do an introduction for a hockey mom from Wasilla,” Palin said in faux-wonder. “Ted Cruz, he chews barbed wire, he spits out rust. That’s what we need.”
But Palin herself seemed to be in a chewing out mood, as well. She started off with the president’s recent attempts to restrict gun owner rights.
“That chunk of metal did the crime? That’s like saying, ‘that fork made me fat,’” Palin joked about the idea that guns are responsible for violence. “Background checks? Dandy idea, Mr. President. Should’ve started with yours.”
Palin wasn’t close to finished. She moved on to attack the calls for “rebranding” of the Republican Party.
“Let’s be clear about one thing: We’re not here to rebrand the party. We’re here to rebuild a country,” Palin said. “We’re not here to dedicate ourselves to new talking points coming from DC. We’re not here to put a fresh coat of rhetorical point on our party…We’re here to restore America, and the rest is just theatrics. The rest is sound and fury. It’s just noise. And that sums up the job President Obama does today.”
At one point, Palin reached under the podium and pulled out a Big Gulp and began drinking from it onstage. The action itself bringing large sections of the crowd to its feet.
But the bulk of Palin’s speech was devoted to blasting the Washington and GOP establishment, including a not-so-veiled jab at Republican “architect” strategist Karl Rove.
“If you don’t have a team of lobbyists in D.C. or a canceled contribution check, well, you’re not at the table. You’re on the menu,” she said. “The last thing we need is Washington, D.C. vetting our candidates…If we had one message to send to Washington, it would be this: Get over yourself. It’s not about you.”
But when Palin left the stage, for those few moments, it was all about her, leaving the audience roaring on its feet for several minutes straight.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on March 16, 2013 at 6:52pmI was a Palin fan until she and Glenn scheduled an event here in St Louis last year. It appeared to be a kick off event to something big. Then two days before the event she announced she would not run for the presidency. Hmm…then we got the same old tired speech from her. That’s when I realized she is nothing but a cheerleader, not a leader. So anyone with hopes and dreams of her being anything else better think again. In fact before that event Glenn talked about her all the time how they exchanged middle of the night emails and all and after, not much of Glenn talking about Sarah Palin. Why? That’s all I ask is why?

This woman is SO very special-
her strength, her spirit, her undying love for America.
We NEED a NEW party-
Sarah is right,
they are trying to “rebrand” the Republican Party
and it is never going to work.
It’s sorta’ like warming up old hash…it’s still old hash.
There ARE many Dems out there who WANT to move away from the filthy Libs
but they refuse to align with the dreaded Repubs.
Just as many Conservatives know,
the Repubs want to reel you in, use you for your money & vote
and then, dismiss your choice of candidates.
Why are we allowing this ?
During the RNC Convention, they threw the Tea Party a bone
and allowed Rubio to speak.
It was NOT enough.
That Convention SHOULD have looked & sounded MORE like this current
CPAC convention.
The smelly, old, RNC messed up big time…costing us the election.
Onward with Palin, Cruz, Ben Carson, Allen West, Rand Paul, Rubio, Scott, Paul Ryan
& all the others…they will light the fire & keep it burning.
Paul Ryan needs to distance himself
from jealous heels like Boehner, Cantor & McCarthy
& embrace this CPAC side completely.
All the Tea Partiers, indies, Conserves, Moderates, libertarians, etc.
NEED to take control NOW-
form & fund under ONE new umbrella group.
N-O-W !
EVERYONE working for the SAME cause-
NO showboaters, NO slime-

Posted on March 17, 2013 at 12:29amHere best line was the one about Tod getting the rifle, here getting the rack.
But I was wondering, how many children are accidentally killed each year by a fork? I think about 3000 each year are killed with a gun. Mostly accidents for sure, but they’re still dead. I wonder how many people commit suicide each year with a gun. I think it’s about 30,000. Suicides committed with a fork? I’m not sure. Probably none.
The US has the highest rate of gun ownership in the world and the highest, or almost the highest rate of gun deaths in the world. The answer according to the NRA, more guns for every honest citizen and no way to their are going to close loopholes that allow murderers, terrorists, pedophiles or crazy people to by guns. So the good guys get more guns and the bad guys get more guns.
So think a second. Who benefits from gun sales to the good guys and the bad guys? Follow the money. Gun manufacturers, the folks who are leading the NRA lobby leadership (although not membership) on a tight leash.
And given the US already has the most guns per capita in the world, and the highest rates of gun violence, do ya really think more and more and more guns is the answer? Think about it. If Americans owned twice as many guns, would the crime rate go down? How about 10 times as many?

Posted on March 17, 2013 at 6:49amDefinition of a shock jock: disc jockey on a talk show who expresses opinions in a deliberately offensive or provocative way.
Here’re just a small examples:
- Palin: comparing guns with forks -> how many people killed with forks? killing with gun is un-personal and not require extensive physical strength, unlike killing with forks or blade, etc.
- Palin: using gun background check to raise Obama birther -> orly taitz, anyone?
- Palin: take a cheap shot on bloomberg big gulp banning, with drinking big gulp in public speaking -> so typical shock jock.
For her die hard fan, here’re another reminder:
Palin is a quitter. For somebody who campaign on morality, social conservatism and family values, what happen with her own family? daugter pregnant out of wedlock, another daugther having a spat in net using gay slur, son divorced in a less than 2 years marriage, and rumors have it that she’s a one night standder. oh……. did i mentioned she’s a quitter.
However. as I said earier, I like Palin. She’s a good entertainer. I just pity her sheeply followers, who think she’s a serious politician that can solve all their problem. She’s not. She’s just an entertainer, somewhere along the line between glen beck and kardhasian. and she’s walking to the bank, laughing, with your money.
I really do hope she run for president in 2016. it would be fun to watch.

I did not know our suicide rate was almost exactly on par with Sweden’s rate. For most of the last50 years Sweden’s rate has been higher. The left always wants us to imitate Sweden. Does the left want more suicides?
An interesting stat is that suicide goes down when a country has a war. The socialist must have been embarrassed by the high suicide rate. So they have imported war to Sweden. Very kind of them. Now Swedes are at war with the leftists government and the Muslim immigrants. Getting rape robbed & murdered tends to make one to fight back. Read Swedish newspapers. You can translate them online. You will see for yourself.
Housing shortage in Sweden? No problem, bring in more immigrants without college degrees or highschool diplomas.
Granny costing to much in a nursing home? No problem move her out of a nursing home & cut costs. In the meantime bring in more immigrants.

Creating straw men and then knocking them down.
The Republican Story for the past few decades is that of a small group of morally superior people fighting against the odds.
The people that buy it want the exclusivity. They don’t want to be like everyone else. The superiority is important to them.
Most people do not want to picture themselves as punching bags wildly swinging and only sporadically connecting. The majority just won’t buy into it.
It’s not a “winning” story.

Posted on March 16, 2013 at 5:03pmDr. Floyd…. i have some insight on this one, as well.
Similar to the other case but this one is the daughter of Mountain clergy rather than Manhattanite NeoCons.
Conceived in secret, she wasn’t allowed to date boys until she was 18.
As a result, she got her training wheels “in the family” if you know what i mean. Bitter, and jaded, she gave her baby up for adoption to spite her vindictive snake charming father.
Now, what must seem like lifetimes later to her, she projects all of that guilt and anger onto every entity she associates with “the Snake People”…..
Unlike patient 0 (VERCE), this one actually exhibits cognitive reasoning occasionally…. and sometimes can’t hide her tendency to “hero-worship” her “captor”. She has decided to manifest that “Captor” in the form of Glenn Beck…. despising the man while simultaneously listening 4hrs a day & watching his TV show at a pathologically adorable rate. She has made Glenn her own, personal “El Guapo” while kneeling at his throne- … diagnososis: (classic Stockholm Syndrome, combined with paranoid schizophrenia.)

While observing progressives I have learned that their disorder stems for many different things.
First of all they have low self esteem, poor work ethics and are completely void of any viable skills or talents.
Because of this they feel compelled to force others to take care of them.
In our studies the only thing that seem to work was to completely discontinue all help and resources. Although they fuss and have tantrums they eventually start to forage on their own.
Thus making them a productive citizen.

As much as you WISH her AWAY, the MAJORITY of CONSERVATIVES LOVE HER.
She told Rove and the elitists who handed the election to Obama by a ****, to kiss her *ss.
You trolls have more in common with the hard core elitists than you think.
The lazy, taking MINORITY and the Obama elitists are in control for now. And you’re still MISERABLE.
American values are RIGHT of CENTER. You can’t handle it. The majority pray. Own guns. Are or want to be employed. Want to be energy independent. AND LOVE THEIR NATION. It’s not that we lost an election. It’s that the American people LOSE everyday that BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Have another Big Gulp for the nanny state trolls on The Blaze, SARAH.

Posted on March 16, 2013 at 10:09pmThe only thing I see more of the same from, Miss Mary Beth Elizabeth, is over 2300 posts on msnbc’s newsvine trying to tear Sarah down. Yep, there are over 2000 posts full of hate for a woman they don’t even know because she tells the truth about our president that we also never got to know before electing him to rip our country apart. She drives you liberals crazy because she makes you realize you are following a nightmare instead of the dream you thought you had with our incompetent POTUS. You guys should request Obama to write a few words in his hand bc everything coming from his lips and the teleprompter have been lies.
Palin has what it takes to stir the liberals or she wouldn’t get front page news on msnbc every time she opens her mouth or takes a big gulp. Common sense will never be understood by the liberals because the progressives have convinced you that you have none and if you don’t use it you lose it.

Creating straw men and then knocking them down.
The Republicans would be much more successful if they would stop envisioning themselves as underdogs under attack from all sides.
It’s a crutch of an excuse for inaction, besides not being true, and a reason to keep the party exclusive and not let any of “them” in. None of the current Republicans would want to be a member if everyone could be one.
The underdog with the superior moral character battling the good fight against the odds has been the Republican’s story for at least the past few decades. That is not a “winning” story.

Well if she didn’t appoint people like Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and Andrew Napolitano the only thing she would be able to stop is the gun grab at the federal level. Those three would be a dream team. Those three have the knowledge and the brass to not just shut down the progressive machine but to destroy it. Sarah has heart but if that’s all she’s bringing to the table I wouldn’t vote for her and her VP choice would be critical.

Posted on March 16, 2013 at 1:38pmPalin represents White fertility. but she is bad on Israel. this is not an ideological battle of left vs right, GOP vs Dems, Socialism vs liberty. This is ethnic warfare against white people.
Why are hostile globalist elite defending Israel as a Jewish ethnostate with Jewish only immigration, but ravaging white majority Europe, North America into a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural Gulag with dystopian non-White colonization?
Why do gullible Whites kowtow to hostile Jewish & crypto-Jewish elite, who butcher White soldiers in bankrupting wars, infiltrate & subvert our banks & spying agencies, indoctrinate us in classrooms & mass media, & plunder our jobs & wages?
East Asia is 99% yellow. Africa is 99% Black. West Asia is 99% Brown. But 3rd world colonizers are annihilating Whites, just as Chinese colonizers are annihilating Tibet.
“Native” Americans are not native. They invaded from East Asia. Not just Whites, but Muslims, Jews, China, India, Mayans, Africans all are guilty of slavery, imperialism. Whites were victims of Islamic, Jewish, African imperialism, slavery.
Gullible Whites should reject subversive Jewish ideologies like libertarianism, feminism, liberalism, socialism, and reject hostile slanders of racism, collectivism.
Love to all humanity, but White people must unite & organize to advance their families, their fertility, their interests. Reading list:

The Dems have one advantage and the Repubs better take a clue. If They ran a coyote, the dog would win, because they are unified in the ‘dog vote,’ while the repub may have better candidates, but are entirely divided. Single issues are the demise of the repubs- for God’s sake, who is the perfect candidate??
But Ms Palin is a good American, and like Mr Paul, would be better than any Dem, but they will be crucified, and the ‘dog’ will win yet again. Am I saying they should run; not necessarily, just making the point that ‘a kingdom divided against itself, cannot stand.’ The repubs better learn how to circle their own-
