Madonna Chastises Boy Scouts Over Stance on Gays During GLAAD Awards…While Wearing This Bizarre Outfit

NEW YORK (TheBlaze/AP) — Wearing a replica of one of the organization’s uniforms, Madonna called on the Boy Scouts to lift its ban on gays while also calling for a “revolution” to prevent discrimination and abuse of the gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual community.

Speaking Saturday night at the GLAAD Media Awards, Madonna started off in a mischievous mood. She joked that she wanted to become a part of the Boy Scouts herself, but was turned down, even though she had the qualifications.

“I can build a fire. I know how to pitch a tent,” said Madonna, sporting a Boy Scouts troop leader hat and a blue shirt and shorts set that included replicas of Boy Scout badges.

“I can rescue kittens from trees. Most importantly, I know how to scout for boys,” she said, before adding, “I think they should change their stupid rules.”

The Boy Scouts of America does not permit openly gay people to serve in the organization — a decision that has come under increasing fire over the years.

Later, she got serious as she talked about the conflicts in the world and of the bullying of young gay, lesbian and transgender people.

“When I think about young kids in America who are being bullied and tortured, who are taking their own lives because they feel alone and judged, outcast and misunderstood, I want to sit down and cry a river of tears,” Madonna said.

Noting that she has teenagers herself, she said, “It’s an atrocity to me, I don’t accept it.”

Later she said, “I don’t know about you, but I can’t take this (expletive) anymore. That is why I want to start a revolution. It’s 2013 people. We live in America, land of the free and home of the brave? That’s a question, not a statement.”

Madonna was on hand to give the Vito Russo Award to CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. She lauded Cooper for standing up for the rights of others.

Also honored by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation was the NBC musical series “Smash,” the documentary “How To Survive a Plague,” and “The Amazing Race.” Brett Ratner was also given the Ally Award — a turnaround from 2011, when the organization condemned the director for using an anti-gay slur, and he stepped down from a plan to direct the 2012 Academy Awards in the ensuing controversy.

Since then, Ratner has worked with the organization and made a public service announcement to promote equality.

BSA to Madonna: when we need a spokesperson for our organization, we won’t be contacting you. It’s not that you object to our policy on homosexual leaders – it’s more like your immoral stance on virtually everything. But seriously, here’s a question: You would like to see us allow homosexual adult leaders to go out camping in the woods, sleep in tents, etc., along with our scouts? How would feel about me and my buddy, heterosexual males, taking your teen daughters out for a campout ?

My son became an Eagle Scout last August. Right now I have a fundraising letter on my table from the BSA. I’ve always been supportive of the Boy Scouts but this year I’m waiting till May for their decision on openly gay members. I will not support them financially for the rest of my life. I had my son join so he would become a morally straight leader. If the gay community feel there is a need for an organization that focuses on sexual orientation, by all means, start one. That is not their goal. They like the term bully. We are tired of being bullied. All I see is one well established organization after another become a target of their agenda.

Like anything Madonna says should be taken seriously, after all she is either dressing up like a woman of the night or a Boy Scout.. and how old is she?? She did bring down a generation or two with her immorals and decayed the hearts and souls of many! I pity her!

Libtrash are applying Alinsky propaganda tools. First as in the homosexual issue, they pound on one idea. They have all of their libtrash propaganda outlets talk in unison about the “problem”. They ask each other about it. They try and paint their adversaries (us) with a broad brush calling them Homophobes and haters. We must be like a rock. We are correct…they are perverted trash. We must go on the propaganda attack on them and spread our correct version of how things should be, They think they will be the winners in this fight. They are wrong. Homosexuals are not regular people and there are some things they should not be allowed to do.

Madonna’s outfit is exactly why homosexuals should not be in Boy Scouts. Madonna is portraying a child as a sex object and that is exactly what GLAAD is all about. Would you let Jerry Sandusky take your children on a campout, Madonna? Didn’t think so.

If the gays want an organization like the scouts why don’t they start one up? They have enough rich people to fund it like the witch itself.
