Video: Catholic Grandmother Assaulted While Praying Outside Planned Parenthood
A 63-year-old Catholic grandmother says she was attacked and knocked to the ground while filming outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Wilmington, Del. last week.
Rae Stabosz told TheBlaze she’s part of a regular group that prays outside the clinic. On Wednesday afternoon, when she and another woman were getting ready to leave for the day, an ambulance pulled up to the front of the building. Stabosz took out her iPhone and began to film, at which point she said a woman came out of the Planned Parenthood and demanded she stop taping.
“She came out of Planned Parenthood and she was very angry,” Stabosz said. “[She said] ‘I’m going to mess you up so f–king bad.”

In video of the incident, first posted by anti-abortion organization Operation Rescue, Stabosz narrates that they are calling 911 because they were threatened.
Stabosz told TheBlaze it was about 10 minutes later when the woman returned and assaulted her on the sidewalk as the paramedics prepared to roll out with a patient on a stretcher.
In the video, the woman walks out of the Planned Parenthood just ahead of the paramedics and heads directly toward Staboszs while on the phone. The audio is difficult to hear, but the woman appears to say, “I’ll call you in an hour when I’m in jail.”
“I believe this person may be trying to — ” Staboszs says before she’s abruptly cut off as the woman slaps the running iPhone out of her hand. The phone clatters to the ground and the woman appears to stomp on it. There are sounds of a scuffle and Staboszs yells. The woman is heard saying, “Get the f–k away.”

“She barreled into me, grabbed my phone and threw it down on the ground and started to stomp on it. I thought if she gets one clear shot at this she’s going to crush my phone and destroy it,” Staboszs said. “She picked the phone up, put it in her pocket and [went inside and] gave it to the Planned Parenthood person.”
Stabosz said she got up and went into the clinic — something anti-abortion protesters are usually prohibited from doing — and demanded her phone back from the receptionist. The receptionist handed it over, at which point Staboszs went back outside and called 911 to report the assault.

Stabosz said her assailant fled in her car before police arrived, but that the other woman she was with managed to get the license plate number.
Police arrived and took a statement. Stabosz said she initially declined medical treatment but began feeling pain in her head and down her leg and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. She said she suffered contusions but no broken bones from when her attacker pushed and knocked her backward.
Stabosz said she received a call from police Friday that they have not yet located her attacker but are continuing to investigate.
Planned Parenthood’s Wilmington Center was closed Sunday and could not be reached for comment.
Stabosz, a grandmother of 12, said she’s been peacefully praying outside the clinic location for the last three years. She said after she was attacked, three Planned Parenthood employees went outside and saw her sitting on the pavement but did nothing to help her.
“We’re not professionals, we’re just people and we’re trying to help people out and help save babies,” Staboszs told TheBlaze.

I totally repect the fact that it is a personal, emotional, life and death topic, but legal is legal.
The clinic is doing what they are paid to do and the women who go there WANT to be there.
And as with ANY medical procedure, sometimes things go wrong.
Take it to the courthouse – OCS did.
Hard to believe I am respecting THEM but at least they tried to so something (not really sure WHAT) the right way.
And when/if the courts change the ruling then the OTHER SIDE will protest and a lot more ADULT injuries/deaths will occur with black market back alley clinics…
And a lot more UNWANTED children will grow up without daddies, with mommies that are likely to feel angry/vengeful at THEM for something that is only the adult’s fault.
Bad situation.
Put the country on Norplant till they are 25.
No one needs a baby till then REGARDLESS of what they think at 17.

Lot’s of things have been legal throughout history that were outrageous on their face. The law has often, very often, been on the wrong side of history. Instead of an abortion “clinic” where every race is killed indiscrimately, suppose this was a place where the law said Jews should be brought to be exterminated; would you still think the German courts would be the proper place to take up the fight? Have you ever heard of the Taney court and the Dred Scott decision? Since Roe v. Wade, abortion is no longer a political or legal issue; it’s a civil war issue. There is no compromising on this issue. It is a matter of life and death. If any other group of people were being systematically exterminated like unborn babies are, good citizens would take up arms to prevent it. Usually at their OWN cost.
It baffles me.
I’d be OK with the govm’t paying for the FIRST time as long as an IMPLANTED birth control device is part of the deal.

So if for nothing else than the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, I think you SHOULD have sympathy for the woman who was assaulted.

I suppose you would give the baby the death penalty and lock up the rapist until the state pays for enough therapy to declare him “cured,” and then turn him loose on society again. How about this as alternative: We kill the rapist, comfort and care for the mother through her pregnancy and give her the choice as to whether she raises the child or gives it to adoptive parents who will love it. How was she trying to cause problems? Was she defecating on a police car? Shouting vulgarities at the police and those on the other side of the issue? Sexually assaulting fellow protesters? Littering all over the protest site? Defying lawful limits and injunctions?
What exactly was this peaceful protester who was merely exercising her Constitutional and legal right to peaceful protest doing that was causing trouble? Seems to me the trouble was caused by the PP staff person, no?
If this was a Pro-Life office and the anti-lifers were violently protesting, that would be okay. But peaceful protests are not okay when they are against the Liberal position. You Libs are such hypocrites!!!

People would have come out of the clinic, offering coffee and a donut, heaping praise on and thanking the old gal, probably while one of the sicko occupants would have been fondling the pulsating artifact thrown through the window.

Guess when your main business is killing babies, you tend not to care much about the mothers, either. IF I was actually FOR abortion,, I still would be against the filthy, incompetent, uncaring butchers who operate in SO many of these clinics!!

Abortion is THE most emotional subject in America today.
There are 2 VERY big principles at stake, BOTH pertaining to life, death and Govm’t control.
GVMT CONTROL is a BIG issue with me.
Women need the right to clean, safe medical help without doing back alley procedures.
Some women WILL die and some babies WILL be born mangled after procedures that fail if abortions are ruled illegal.
That is a fact.
On the other hand, babies WILL die, and occasionally women too – even in the cleanest clinics if abortion is left as legal.
That is ALSO fact.
Only God has the ultimate answer.
Was thiis woman within the legal distance?I don’t know.
Yes, she was attacked – the worker should be jailed – and I think she was a “safe, legal” distance away from the clinic – but I could be wrong about her distance.
Since the VAST majority of people here were on HER side as a RACIST attack, I was/am playing devil’s advocate.
The situation reminds me of the little brother with a finger in his sister’s face –
“I’m not touching you. I’m not touching you”.
Eventually, EVERYONE snaps.
The issue IS so important, I can only say let the courts decide.
I am in the MIDDLE – believe it or not.
I see BOTH sides as right.
But I can’t STAND extremists – on EITHER SIDE.
Only OPEN MINDED people will appreciate all that…

The problem with THIS issue is that BOTH choices can turn out bad.
That being the case – let the afftected individual decide what is right for her.
And keep believing the soul goes to the next available loving SET of parents.
Yes – hopefully a married man and a woman.
I’m just trying to get the extremists (a dirty word) to THINK about the other side for once.
One should NEVER make such an important decision without at least walking in the other side’s shoes for a bit.
And I believe bad things happen to innocent little children – like cancer – due to the RANDOMNESS of the disease.
God CAN intervene if asked, but as often said – sometime the answer is NO.
Just saying God works in mysterious ways doesn’t work for me.
The beauty of Faith is to find out what works for YOU.
And to prove it, just consider the fact that NO TWO preachers will agree 100% on absolutely EVERYTHING in the Bible.

I think you have miss read me on my previous posts
First and foremost, the Bible is the guide that I use for right and wrong. I do not put the blame an America’s problems at the feet of black people. I do however know that America camouflages violent crime that blacks do, and applies the rules of political correctness. Feinstein does not want to discuss black on black murder, as that might mean having to discuss the failed welfare machine. She does not want to solve black murder, she wants to come and take my rifles.
Be very careful in the logic that allowing abortion in black populations, keeps things in check. Murder is murder, regardless of color. If we can condone killing black babies to lower crime, what is to stop the genocide of 15-30 year old black males? It sounds way to much like a Hitler solution to me.
If you want to lower the black murder rates, then seal the border, punish business that hire non legal workers, then begin to phase out welfare. Those that are on the system (regardless of color) can start doing the work that the Mexicans were coming here to do. You will lower taxes, lower crime, and raise the incentive for folks to stay in school.
I love black Americans, just as much as white Americans. I want them to succeed and have the American dream, and even more, I want them to experience Bible salvation. My speaking about real statistics on the current crime rate of blacks, is because I care, not because I want them dead.
