White House Warns It Might Cancel 135th Easter Egg Roll

The White House on Monday warned it may have to cancel the 135th annual Easter Egg Roll due to financial uncertainty, including a “potential government shutdown.”

The Easter Egg Roll is the latest so-called victim of the nation’s financial troubles. The Obama administration has been heavily criticized over its recent decision to cancel all White House tours, citing the mandatory cuts known as sequestration.

Republicans began complaining about the following official White House memo on Monday, which warns of the potential shutdown of the yearly event scheduled for April 1:

“Finally, by using these tickets, guests are acknowledging that this event is subject to cancellation due to funding uncertainty surrounding the Executive Office of the President and other federal agencies…If cancelled, the event will not be re-scheduled. We will notify you if there are any modifications to this event.”

  Christ, if that guy can buy a bunch of Senators supper at a swanky DC restaurant, surely he can cough up enough for a few dozen eggs and mom-in-chief and privileged kids-in-chief can color them. I do think they should limit the festivities to the kids of the military.

  It spoke volume’s that Jay Carney couldn’t answer a reporters question as to whether the Obama’s where going to curtail their vacation plans because everyone else is having to tighten their belts….just a deer in the headlights look and a ridiculous statement about Obama’s every thought was on the economy. If they cancel a national tradition of the WH Easter Egg Hunt the only one with egg on his face will be him. I really think this man is not very smart. I know everyone say’s he’s brilliant…even Glenn but I think he is like the Peter Seller’s character in the movie “Being There”. He is our Chauncey the Gardner.

  If this idiot ODUMMER is worried about “Saving” money, instead of canceling the egg roll, CANCEL HIS LAVISH MARTHA’S VINYARD VACATION. The cost of this lavish trip will be in the millions of dollars. He may “rent” the house where he will stay but all the ancillary support (Communications, Security, fuel for Air Force 1 & 2 ((Moochelle must fly seperately)), food, cooks, hairdressers, laundry services, Limos transported for them to ride in, Navy ships patrolling the waters around the island and the list goes on and on) will be at taxpayer expense.
  
  That doesn’t include his all expense paid golfing trip with Tiger Wood or all the campaign mode appearances he has made around the country. He could have saved hundreds of millions of dollars using video hookups for these “Speeches” he is constantly flying about, all the while decrying the sequester.
  
  Odummer is an ego-maniac. Mychael Massey, a conservative African American columnist, compared the Obamas and their royal travels to “Sharecroppers who have hit the lottery”. HOW TRUE THAT IS!!!

Considering that in recent poles only 21% to 24% of the population consider themselves to be liberals, while roughly 47% consider themselves to be conservatives.
