Who Is the One Conservative That Rush Limbaugh Says Has Every Democrat ‘Scared to Death’?
Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday said Dr. Ben Carson has the entire Democratic Party “scared to death” for several reasons.
“He is able to articulate and explain conservatism in a way that is persuasive, without raising his voice at all,” Limbaugh said. It sounds like your dad talking to you, not your dad, your best buddy talking to you.”
Should Carson ever decide to run for office, like his supporters want him to, the left would have a very hard time demonizing him, Limbaugh explained.
“Partially because of his race, but not just because he’s African-American,” he added. “You can say he’s all these horrible things, then you hear him, see him and listen to him and it doesn’t click.”
“He saves children with his hands. He saves their little brains.”

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Posted on March 20, 2013 at 4:35pmI think Dr. Carlson is a great person and if he was president, this nation would be a lot free-er. Obammy’s main objective was to destroy the USA. He is still at it with the Media waging its tail up their butts. What happens to everyone when Obammy has this nation destroyed? The Media could have helped saved it, but they think they are gods and can do anything. Well, they aren’t anything. They are a bunch of slobs. Obammy has them under his thumbs. When he calls for them, they jump. Here is something else that you can see that Obammy is trying to destroy us. He has signed an Executive Order #13524, using foreign cops to bring Martial law into the USA. We do have the N.W.O. which is the New World Order and Martial law. Headquarters is in Alamogordos, NM, with German Air-Force and it is already under the U.N. Jurisdiction. So, we are under the U.N. and N.W.O. right now. Reason the Germans are here is so that they can strip every single gun and food from everyone in the U.S.A. Too bad the terrorist news media wasn’t on their toes. They could have found out about this in 2007 up to now. I found all of this info on the internet and libraries. May God Bless This Nation that hopefully we love.

If anyone has a shot at beating Hillary (fingers crossed) in 2016 its Rubio… and hes pro immigrant amnesty.. which could lose some conservative votes.. Also Dr. Carson is pro gun control.. which i’d imagine would lose him even more conservative votes.

Posted on March 21, 2013 at 2:30pmThank you, MSPAT for shedding some light on what is already going on right now. The public has no idea about most of these Executive Orders Obama has signed… he’s waging war against the Constitution, against this nation’s very foundation. Obama HATES the law. Satan HATES God’s law. Satan hates you and me, and he is using Obama to wage war against every man, woman, and child in this country, and the media is his mule. They all (including a large majority of the population) look at Obama with a glazed over, crack-addicted look like… he’s some sort of savior. Ahhhh… the GREAT Obama!!! THIS is exactly what Satan wants. He has used and manipulated so many into believing Obama is the best thing that ever happened to this country and so many are sitting idly by and letting it happen… Obama is waging war against our own government, to bring it down so that he can declare martial law… and he’ll use another nation to do much of his bidding. He IS this nation’s end-time Antiochus Epiphanes(sp?). You watch… our nation is being dismantled bit by bit, right under our noses, and the masses just take it like the wimp that this nation has become. God tells us this is going to happen… a nation once blessed is now being cursed by God. Germany is going to be used by God to punish this nation. Prophecy tells us this… just please read: https://www.thetrumpet.com/literature/22/germany-and-the-holy-roman-empire

I’m assuming you are on the left and “they” would be the right. But if “they” were on the left and you were on the right, who would be exposing them for who they are? What are “they” anyway? Racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, arachnaphobes, or jackalobes? How can a black man be promoted by racists? It doesn’t seem to make sense. It seems that character matters more than color in this instance, but when you’re are on the left……..perception is everything. Anything to the contrary of a progressive worldview will be ignored, dismissed, and forgotten quickly instead of challenging those beliefs for truth.
If you perceive life or a group of people to be a certain way…….it will be almost impossible for even the strongest of facts to reverse that perception. This is how the Nazis were able to destroy millions of people. They just helped the average German perceive the Jew as less than human. Reality did not matter. Jews were constantly portrayed this way by Hitler and many Germans began to perceive this as truth. As a result, the German population had no problem exterminating “them” after this coercion. How do you view “them”? Are those on the right “less than human” to you? Are they “racists”? Etc., etc., etc…………. Well, you get the picture don’t you?

regarding your comments to Dontcry, there is a famous old saying: “You can’t see if you are blind.” DONTCRY is so blind even a guide dog couldn’t show him the way. He can’t see because he’s got his head hung up Barry’s bunghole. If that isn’t bad enough he’s to busy going to the show. It’s obvious, he likes picking his seat, and since he’s a lib he picks it strickly for fun. The idea of picking for profit is foreign to him.
As for Dontcry, “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I wan’t to ……” the famous lyrics sung by Leslie Gore. Crying was the least of it, she belched and farded too. It was her party and she did as she pleased. Before the party there was especially a lot of farding going on. Farding is a hoity French word, she used often, to indicate she had or was going to put on makeup. The other came from drinking to much beer.

Posted on March 20, 2013 at 9:41am@Dontcry- the RNC is just the DNC on a perpetual diet. They gobble the loot like the Dems, but they require more bites. As anyone can see the differences in the parties are slim and none… just which rich b**tard gets the kickback. For instance RNC supports oil which produces enough energy for generations of businesses and households. The DNC doesn’t get enough of that pie so they create an artificial boogieman – climate change – and are trying to set up an artificial “stock exchange” to control the cash they will receive in trading carbon credits – with GE’s help of course. The Dems just don’t mind killing children to get to their ends and make out like the Repubs are the greedy bad guys. It becomes a my team needs to win at any cost – the Dems are better at throwing people, values and morals away (and quicker) than are the Repubs. That is why the TEA Party appeared on the scene… people got tired of choosing which party or candidate made you throw up the least. NOW that having been said, someone like Ben Carson that has saved lives and is the antithesis of the Dem steriotype African American is a threat to both parties and the status quo. If the Repubs don’t discredit him first, the Dems will assault his credentials, manhood, religion, honor, sexual relationships, tax returns and any other avenue they can find to get Hillary elected in 2016.

Posted on March 20, 2013 at 12:34pmRush didn’t convince anyone, he was just wrong as everyone else because everyone was using the old traditional election calling processes which focused on the independents.
Obama was just as unsure because he wasn’t crowing about it until after it was clear. His internal ‘polling’ knew something that even the standard polling agencies didn’t know since most were within margin of error. I think what they actually ‘knew’ was that they had a far better ground game than Romney.
This election proved that you CAN use your base (and some very old election tricks) to win an election, something that most election watchers thought was not possible any more.
Romney won the independent vote. His ‘base’ failed to support him.
I keep saying this: Had everyone that voted for McCain, voted for Romney, plus the swing in the independents, he would’ve won, even with the allegations of voter fraud.

I might be willing to give you that. Ben Carson is no more the answer than the reincarnation of Reagan. The party needs a principle and core so strong that no 1 body can raise it nor take it down. The left has that in a concept. The left idolizes utopia and knows all it has to do is fight people that (rightfully) say utopia doesn’t exist. Rush was right in his Santa Clause theory, he just didn’t break it down simply enough.
We all know that the utopian dreams are coming to a screeching halt worldwide as the parasites of the left are realizing the hosts are either dead or immune to their money grabbing ways. I personally have the popcorn at the ready to watch this all unfold. I trust in God and know that I am as prepared as a reasonable person can be (Glenn pushed over-preparedness in my opinion) and will live with the results.

I for one fully believe that capitalism is THE BEST system for giving the most people the best opportunities at improving their lives. I also happen to believe (know) that capitalism, like any other system, can be abused – at a terrible cost to both the individual and the many. Do we ignore the costs of the latter just for the unbridled success of the former?
How about some other quotes from Frank? Speaking of his children: “I want them to grow up in a country where they can think what they want to think, be what they want to be, and not what somebody’s wife or somebody in Government makes them be.”
Speaking about music ratings: “The establishment of a rating system, voluntary or otherwise, opens the door to an endless parade of Moral Quality Control Programs based on “Things Certain Christians Don’t Like”.

Posted on March 19, 2013 at 9:54pmFolks, I’m a Democrat. I’m a liberal. And I’m gonna shoot ya the straight news. Whenever Rush or any other right wing person says “liberals are afraid” of this person or that running for office, you can be 100% sure liberals would jump with joy, would praise God on bended knee and break out the champagne if that person ran for office. And if they won a primary, well, I don’t have words for that. They’d probably just smile with the satisfaction that they’ve won that election.
I’m simply love it when people on the right think Democrats “are afraid” of one candidate or another such as Palin, Cain, West, Perry or whoever’s star is shooting through the sky at the moment, generally because they did nothing other than insult the President.
We’re scared when a crossover candidate like Christie runs. But scared of someone who gets puppy love from the right based on the fact that they criticized the President? Like Cain, Perry, Bachmann, Gingrich etc? Please. I fervently hope he wins whatever primary he runs for.

Rush believes the conservative message is not properly explained to people and that if a candidate ran on true conservative principles, they would win.
Most people in this country lean conservative.
When the right candidate (one who cannot be smeared) articulates conservatism in a way that people understand, it is game over for the democrats.
Who doesn’t believe that you can succeed on this country through hard work and perseverance? Nobody – unless they’ve been told the system is slanted against them. Yet, we have a mulatto president who came from a broken home who has a wife descended from slaves. The story doesn’t match the rhetoric.
Who believes that the government had the right to take half of what you own and give it to someone else? No one, unless they are on the receiving end – therefore it is beneficial for the government to keep you in the ‘needy’ category.
Who believes it is fiscally responsible to spend more money than you make?
I know little about Dr Carson, but Rush is excited because he can express conservative values and would not be easy to smear – he is not an old, white, rich guy who is the product of ‘white privelege’.
Romney was an easy smear, not only to the democrat base, but also to the conservative base – he was a ‘progressive’ republican and he was Mormon! Divide and conquer.
This strategy would not work on Dr Carson.

Since you all jumped all over SendTheMeteors and seem disinclined to believe him/her, I thought I’d chime in as another liberal. SendTheMeteors is absolutely correct. Over and over again we see right-wingers get excited about some candidate or potential candidate, going on and on about how terrified liberals are of this person. Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, Rand Paul, etc. etc. I can’t believe that I still see posts proclaiming that we liberals are quaking in our boots about Sarah Palin getting in the race for 2016! Believe me, I’d love nothing more than to see Palin or someone like her nominated in 2016. In 2012 I was praying that the GOP would nominate someone like Palin or Perry or Cain. My biggest concern was Mitt Romney, actually, who seemed to have more appeal to moderates and independents. As it turned out he was a much worse candidate than I’d expected. But I would have preferred any of the others. Palin / Beck 2016!!! Go go go!
I don’t have any opinion about Ben Carson because I really haven’t paid any attention to him. But if he is someone to be concerned about, it would be due to possible crossover appeal, not extreme right-wingery. If you guys want to keep believing that hardcore rightists are the best candidates though, I’m totally cool with that. Good luck to you.

Politicians are not ethical as demonstrated by those in office currently. Getmo closed? Still in Iraq and Afganistan? A more transparrent administration (Bhengazi Bungle)? Is the world safe from terrorist Islamic threat? Is the deficit cut in half by the first term? Is healthcare costs lower? Is energy more affordable? Is college more affordable? Both political parties suck the life out of our country’s unity. Nothing is being done to better our country only to improve the chances to win the next election for ‘our’ cronies. Libs just want what they want at any cost – they are so open minded and enlightened that they reject opposition as bigotry and intolerance. Old fashioned morals compared to brilliant enlightened thought – even if it is wrong or destructive. Nothing advanced by the DNC or RNC has improved anything in any arena of our lives… Both parties have failed us totally. People want truth and peace and we get perpetual war and lies. When a real leader appears on the scene, both parties attack and try to destroy.

I do believe in personal liberty – HOWEVER – I understand that personal decisions have consequences far beyond the individual. We as a collective nation are suffering terribly – physically, health-wise, / financially / other – because of our obesity troubles. And so… Because decisions made under personal liberty DO have such national (and global) societal and financial and other implications, I believe society needs to take certain, hopefully as limited as possible, action, to address such.
Example: Do you believe in our National Parks system?
That’s a ‘socialist’ national response to the need (and want) of protecting (at least some) of our priceless national resources.
Would you rather, as a nation, we left the duty of protecting such resources up to the free market? Would the free market have stopped its destruction of the great redwoods and sequoia trees – or would have profits dictated their destruction?
There is example after example where unbridled market forces have pushed the limits to the point of… abuse, extinction, etc. – until ‘socialist’ forces stepped in and restricted such.
In our personal lives we continuously weigh the benefits of our actions. Often knowingly doing what we know will hurt us. Is that smart? Is that what is best? Do we teach our children to live their lives that way?
So why would we do so n

Now… back in the 1990′s I had a revelation. I realized the Republicans main objective was to stop the Dems. And that the Dems main objective was to stop the Republicans. Once I stepped back from the 2 and took a good look I had to ask. If each of their main objectives was just to stop the other…. where does that leave us? Since then I have watched our politicians, who are supposed to put us first, do little but divide us. And to come on this site and see all the division shows exactly what I am talking about. Folks wake up!! 550 people between congress, senate, executive and supreme court. If they wanted this country fixed it would be fixed. I’d like to challenge your assumptions a little bit. Can you please elaborate for us? It sounds like you’re saying that progressives are evil but just won’t admit it. Do you really believe that the world is so simplistic? Do you believe it’s impossible for different groups of people to have similar & worthwhile goals, with different ideas of how best to get there? Example: Obamacare. I have a nephew who may have inherited a genetic condition: no cure, treatable, will kill him if not treated. Thanks to Obamacare, he will be able to get insurance, whereas previously it would have been denied (pre-existing condition). Is this “evil”? Or are you able to conceive of good people trying to solve a real problem, even if they choose a different solution than the one you would have chosen? I’d love to hear more detail about your assertion. Thanks!

How on earth would he know when we just continually out principle each other. No, swing my way. My principles are better than yours blah blah blah.
I don’t know if Dr Carson would make a good leader. He seems like a good man and I don’t know why he would sully his reputation in politics. I probably don’t agree with Dr Carson on everything and that is just fine. I would consider supporting him even if I did disagree with him. That is how political grouping/power was meant to be. See a political science 101 text book preferably 10-15 years old.
For instance, I’m mostly libertarian. Not a purist. Not libertarian light. I have some conservative views. If I dug deep enough I may even find a leftover liberal view from my 20′s. So where should my allegiance be? Should I narrow my views to fit one of the smaller parties, libertarian, constitution etc.? Or should I throw my lot in with the moving target that is the republican party?
Or should one of the smaller parties broaden to accommodate a crumbling republican party? Ding, ding, ding!

He gets the constitution and capitalism. People who choose the urban life tend to want restrictions on guns and on other civil liberties.
Life is different in the suburbs and in the country. People tend to embrace liberty and self reliance. They also tend to appreciate the blessing that is the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

conservative. I read his book he’s shaky on some
things. Why is it that we jump on the bandwagon
every time we see a new face on a 20 min video
right away we’ve found the next president. It
was great that he tore the great comrade a new
one right in front of his face but how about he starts
off someplace lower before he runs for president.

Posted on March 20, 2013 at 10:02amDr. Ben Carson is highly qualified. The educational system has bestowed upon him a doctor’s title and reports of his work history have not been released yet. Therefore, he has:
1. A Presidential Medal of Freedom.
2. A Yale degree.
3. A Hollywood movie about him.
He will have:
1. A Nobel Peace Prize sometime in the near future.
The mayor of New York in Tom Wolfe’s novel called it ‘Plaques for Blacks’. The difference between that fictional mayor and Human BioDiversity Denialism Believers is that the fictional mayor understood the system.
Now I need to go to work.

Posted on March 19, 2013 at 10:25pmSoy- his position is understandable given his upbringing and violence in the city. But again, he is not “establishment” and I am confident he can and will change on his positions. One thing he has going for him is that he isn’t a politician so he owes allegiance to no lobbyist group. If he is truly conservative, I see him swinging.

They know half of the party is so upset they are ready to form their own party – they know another Bush/McCain/Romney will not be tolerated. The establishment is desperate….They are desperately looking for someone who can talk the talk but still keep things going like they always have been. Mr. Carson may be their solution.

There is almost 0 chance that he will come around for the establishment. What possible evidence could you have that he will be establishment when he has specifically said he is not a republican or democrat he would be part of the logic party. Carson is not their savior, but he should be our VP with Rand. The man is SMART especially when it comes to costs of things and healthcare. He is there. He is game.
