It might sound harsh at first — denying your girlfriend a bite of your mint chocolate chip cone — but we’d venture to bet many have been in a similar situation before, whether it be as the refusor or the refusee. You know, the she got salad he got fries, now she wants “just a couple” fries situation?

A couple in a similar dilemma was caught on camera at Tuesday’s Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic game in Indianapolis. The contested food item is the aforementioned mint chocolate chip ice cream. He’s holding the waffle cone. She has a spoon ready to dig in as he’s focused intently on the game. But wait, he actually was ready for her move and pulls the cone away — twice.

      Typical territorial dispute that every woman in the world plays on the man.
      He has something, she wants a piece of it even if she knows she will not like it. He finally relents.

      This issue happens in every household at every holiday meal when the desserts come out. The man always has to give up some part of his food to the woman, even if he knows she hates it.
      Typical woman trying to take what the man has, just because she can.

      A bit harsh, but I might meet you half way with your question as I personally, unlike apparently the vast majority of the American population, don’t give two cents a care for athletic sports in general. I live in a city that is extremely passionate about college basketball, and I’ve only attended 1 university game in the 23 years I’ve been here. I think I’ve watched ESPN maybe twice in all those years. It’s just not my thing.

      A large majority of those that are infatuated with sports, to the point of actually shelling out money to attend a game, are responsible for the mess this country is in. They pay no attention to the criminality that is the government, all they think of is sports. Often, they even get in fights over which team is best. I think it is a sign of a low IQ. Pathetic actually. Not all, but most fall into this category.

    Don’t get it, what’s the big deal? The guy was doing her a favor, she could stand to lose a couple of pounds. Wait on second thought the guy should’ve given her the whole cone, if she gets really fat they’ll make a perfect couple. As it stands now the girl could do way better in the appearance department.

    The ice cream man is SMART – if he gives in too easy she’ll run all over him. He plays it cool and aloof and she’ll not take him for granted and will respect him more. Plus, she gets a little pent up like women do which is good for later.
