A French Man Pulled Off a Scary Feat at the Philly Airport: He Snuck Onto a Plane Dressed as a Pilot
PHILADELPHIA (TheBlaze/AP) — A 61-year-old French man has been arrested at Philadelphia International Airport and charged with impersonating a pilot after airline officials found him in the cockpit of a plane scheduled for takeoff.
Police say Philippe Jernnard of La Rochelle, France, was wearing a white shirt with an Air France logo and had a black jacket with epaulets on the shoulders.
“He had an Air France shirt. He had an Air France bag. He had some identification that looked like he was a crew member from Air France,” Capt. Michael Murphy of the Philadelphia Police Department told the local Fox station.
Officer Christine O’Brien says the crew of an outbound US Airways flight found Jernnard in the jump seat behind the pilot at about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. She says he became argumentative and was escorted from the plane.
Police found Jernnard with a counterfeit Air France crew member identification card.
Jernnard was arraigned on state charges. Police say they expect federal charges to be filed on Friday.

What he said (according to our local news) was that he HATES Americans! Why wasn’t he arrested for making terrorist threats?!? Little five-year-old girls want to know…

You’d think Frenchie’s smell would have given him away…

Posted on March 22, 2013 at 9:51amThe TSA is a sick twisted sad joke. They’re now allowing small knives onto planes when their original purpose is to protect us from another 9-11 in which the hijackers used… small knives.. so.. since the TSA can’t stop knives, bombs, guns, and fake flight personnel… what the hell are they actually doing.. other than molesting children, abusing the elderly and stealing cameras and laptops?

Posted on March 22, 2013 at 10:25amMy friend, my opinion is that I’m glad they’re allowing small knives and other small utensils on board planes. It is a sign that common sense is returning to a tiny segment of government; that is, at least the TSA is beginning to realize that it is people with bad intentions that they should concentrate on, as opposed to inanimate objects.

Posted on March 22, 2013 at 9:46amJust think, we gave up our freedom to the goverment and TSA in the name of “safety”…..yet we are less safe now then before. I don’t want to think that the majority of Americans are stupid and that gullable, but they just keep proving me they are!

Posted on March 22, 2013 at 9:46amHow many copycat perps are going to follow this debacle? Looks like they need to instal palm or eye scanners at the boarding gate. They won’t. DHS and their vaunted TSA will continue to drop the ball. Just one more reason I quit flying.
