Shocking Surveillance Video as Teens Struggle to Hold Off Gunman Shooting at Them Through a Glass Door

A group of Philadelphia teens escaped a narrow brush with death when they managed to hold off a gunman firing at them through a glass door Tuesday.

Surveillance footage from a Chinese restaurant shows the teens scrambling to keep the door shut and the hooded gunman out when he appeared on the sidewalk and began firing into the restaurant, WTXF-TV reported.

Three of the teens suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, Philadelphia police said. The terrifying ordeal ended after the gunman emptied his magazine and ran off. A total of 10 shots were fired.

Police released the surveillance video with the hope someone might identify the suspect:

  The victims obviously knew the assailant. He was gunning for one, if not all in the group. This was no robbery, it was a hit. If the cops want to know who the punk firing the gun is, ask the punk kids inside the store. They know who he is, in fact, they might’ve been hiding in the store knowing he was in pursuit. This was likely some territorial dispute.
  
  And yes, I am glad that no one was killed. My only point is that the “victims” had some sort of interactions with the suspect prior to the shooting. They knew what was coming, and immediately tried to hold the door.

  “Shall Issue” only means that if you pass the background check they must give you a permit. It does NOT mean that everyone who applies gets a permit! In Some states police chiefs or judges or any one who makes an objection to the issuing agency are allowed to hold up a permit for no good reason.

  See look how well the criminal obeyed the law and limited his weapon magazine to 10 rounds! We should applaud this hooded criminal for his civic responsibility and good judgement.
  
  Also note how our police force was the saving grace in this situation. They are the only ones we need to trust with gun ownership. Everyone else is perfectly safe if we legislate away the 2nd amendment one type of gun at a time.

  or that if he had been methodical and organized he would have had two firearms and / or additional magzines… at 2 seconds per mag swap, he could have continued to fire for an additional minute before there would have been a chance of the police appearing.

I wonder if any of those teens thought to quickly arm themselves with a ballpoint pen as suggested by the brilliant lawmakers in Colorado? Some other suggestions for self-protection from gun-welding criminals that want to do you harm as made by Colorado State Senator’s…vomitting or peeing; can you see how effective both of those offensive moves would have worked in this situation? I’m telling you…those teenagers were injured because one of the three brilliant self-defense moves taught to us from Colorado legislators were not implimented here.

Shame no one there had a concealed weapon, or a shotgun. In this case Uncle Joe’s just do two blasts through the door would have worked quite nicely. The take away that the LSM will have with this is that if the perp had a higher capacity magazine someone might have been killed someone, so their idea that 7 or 10 rounds is safer than a larger capacity magazine is right. NOT.
It looks as if the Perp was coming to get this group, and had he got in he would have shot them all.

  Look between 44 and 45 seconds, you can see the glass plug from the round’s passing in the room. same thing between the other rounds. the Idiot perp is using FMJ rounds and not hollow point, or the glass or lexan is so thin it went through like it wasn’t there.
