Israeli and Palestinian media tracked down the man who heckled President Barack Obama during his speech to students in Jerusalem on Thursday, drawing boos from the audience and a joke from the president who said: “I have to say we actually arranged for that, because it made me feel at home. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I didn’t have at least one heckler.”

Contrary to the dispatch filed in the White House pool report (one TheBlaze quoted on Thursday) that said the heckler shouted in Hebrew demanding Obama free convicted spy Jonathan Pollard, the man is in fact an Israeli Arab who was shouting in Arabic, decrying what he thought was Obama’s “extremist and Zionist” speech.
Rabia Eid tells Israel’s Channel 10 News that that “Obama talked about a Jewish state, and that is unacceptable to me and to the Arabs of the world.” Eid is himself an Israeli citizen who enjoys the benefits that citizenship affords, including the opportunity to study at a government-funded university.
The Hebrew site Walla reports that security guards quickly removed the man from the venue, to the sound of boos from the audience.
The 24-year-old told Walla, “I shouted against the occupation and to ‘Free Palestine’!”
Israel’s Channel 2 reports that Eid called Obama a “Zionist.”
Electronic Intifada, a pro-Palestinian website that publishes articles presenting Israel as an “apartheid” occupier of Palestinian lands spoke at length to Eid after the incident. He told the site he shouted this at Obama: “Did you really come here for peace or to give Israel more weapons to kill and destroy the Palestinian people? Did you happen to see the apartheid wall on your way here?” Palestinians often refer to the security barrier Israel erected in order to stop the entry of suicide bombers to its towns and cities the “apartheid wall.”
Eid said, “I couldn’t stand listening to the speech any more.”
“It was a very Zionist speech that made other speeches by Zionist figures pale in comparison,” he added.
He says security guards dragged him out of the hall after which he was handcuffed by police.
“They handcuffed him, threatened him, and attempted to intimidate him. They told him he was under arrest,” the site alleges. This stands in contrast to the report from an Israel Channel 2 correspondent who was on the scene and said Eid was in fact never arrested.

O’s whole stance is to let the Arab Spring (ah, that Musky smell of freshness {sarcasm off}) completely overrun Israel. Everything he told them about completely supporting Israel is as true as his complete support of the Constitution of the United States.
Why is he over there, and why haven’t the Jihadis carbombed his motorcade yet? Could it be that they actually know he supports them, and not a free Israel? What is the other hand doing here while we are watching the goat and pony show over there in the West Bank?

Mar. 22, 2013 at 3:21pmThe Iranians basically told us. From the limited IAEA inspections that were done; We Know how many centirfuges they have. We know the capacity of the centrifuges. We know they already can refine the uranium/plutonium to 20%. So we know with pretty high degree of certainty about when they will have enough weapons grade material to product bombs. The only thing we don’t know is if they can build the bomb small enough for a missle. But I think it safe to assume they will figure that out pretty quick. Do you have any Clue, how dangerous a nuclear armed Iran would be? They will either destroy Israel like Achmed-DinnerJacket promised he will do and kill millions of people OR they will force the world to capitulate to the their demands under threat of a nuclear holocaust. Taking on Iran now will make the world a better place tomorrow. How do you not see that, thats right you are a LIB.

Mar. 23, 2013 at 11:57amThere is an interesting take on the Israeli trip situation by K.T.MacFarland at the following link. It basically says that That Man gave Israel the green light to do what they need to do and the u.s. will stand behind them – not along side them but behind them. It sounds good at first until you realise that without America’s help the Israelis cannot hope to finish a war with Iran. In essence, That Man has said, “Do what you need to do.” but after it is started we won’t be there to help you. Remember That Man dithering abotu troops in Afghanistan for a year? If the Israelis start a war with Iran I would expect That Man to do the same thing again just like he has done with the Iranian dissidents and the conflict in Syria. So it would boil down to Israel starting it and Iran finishing it. That is just how naieve That Man is – he doesn’t exect the Israelis to see through his ploy.

Suffice it to say that Pollard will likely die in jail for the offenses of disrupting the U.S.’s attempts to bully Israel, to prevent embarrassing high-ranking Israeli politicians who lied about Pollard to the U.S., and perhaps because he is a Jew. But I hope Americans and Israelis understand that Pollard acted out of moral conviction, and his actions may have saved millions of lives. Pollard is a hero.

I know that Israel is a key ally, and that is important, but we let Israel get away with a lot that we would never stand for the UK, Japan, or other allies to do. The rest of the sand-diggers in the Middle East look exactly like any Israeli I have ever seen, and if it were not for the aid of the US, they would be backward little smudges on the map just like Iraq, Iran, Syria, and the like. Yes, this President is incompetent and naive and doesn’t have the leadership ability to lead a bunch of lemmings over a cliff, but so what if he isn’t Israel’s number one fan? I’d rather have a President that was the number one fan of the US.

Israel is one the most innovative and productive countries on the planet to the point where more Israeli companies are traded on the New York Stock Exchange then any of the countries in Europe. In fact, only China and the US itself beat out Israel, and both of those countries have much larger populations.

4. Natural resources are only a portion of what is traded on the NYSE. NYSE is mostly equity, commodities and futures.

Palestinians were offered their own land in the 1948 UN resolution that created Israel. They rejected it because they didn’t want an Israel. They will not be happy until every Israeli is force into the sea. It is so astonishing how many people don’t see the truth. Palestine attacks, Israel defends. Israel gives land up in exchange for peace, then Palestine attacks again & demands more land for peace. One socialist with a God complex cannot resolve this issue, no matter how good people think he looks on camera.

You’ve clearly never been to Israel. Did you know, for instance, that one can clearly make out the border with Lebanon a mountain top miles away? It very easy. Israel ends where the trees stop. Israel grows food, flowers, produces wine, olive oil and many other products and that’s just what they grow. They also are the biggest source of electronic devices and components outside of silicon valley. Israel’s GDP outstrips ALL of the oil-rich Arab nations by a long shot. If that’s all due to “American investment”, then why is Egypt still so far behind?

Unfortunately, with a few exceptions, most of academia in Israel is afflicted with the same leftist indoctrination policies as U.S. universities. But I have heard that many of these students were Americans studying in Israel (mostly Jewish Americans). Also, many Israeli Arab students must have been there, along with this heckler. For an “apartheid state” Israel bends over backward to provide Arabs with college educations. Israel built all of those colleges in Gaza, Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) that now teach students how to kill Jews and destroy Israel. Notably, the one right-wing university in Israel, Ariel University in the West Bank, was the only college which was not invited to send students to BHO’s address.
Part of me suspects the heckler was an Obama plant. Think about it: If BHO wants to appear pro-Israel, all of sudden, how great would it be for an Arab Israeli to shout out that BHO was supporting the evil Zionist regime? What more proof could Israelis want of BHO’s support of Israel than an Arab shouting at Obama that he was being too supportive of Israel?

This is exactly why it is grossly inaccurate to refer to the Israeli/Palestinian dispute as “occupation.” If it had been Israel that attacked, then yes, Israel would be an occupier… but because it was the Muslims that attacked repeatedly, then it cannot be a case of occupation. Each time the Muslims attacked, Israel pushed them back a bit and consequently won a bit more of the disputed territory… because the Muslims continued to attack, Israel continued to push them further back until Israel won the entire half granted to the Palestinians by the U.N. with the Reparation Act of 1948. The Palestinians deceptively call it “occupation” with the hope that the vast majority of the gullible global community will remain ignorant to the historical record and their great propensity to overplay the victim card. The victim card has proven to be their most effective play… and they will continue to play it until the great majority recognizes their repetitive and diabolical deceit.

The Gaza Strip, held by Isreal was a clean area with some nice beach property, well maintained public buildings and infrastructure. After ceding the area to the Palistinian Authority, many public buildings were bombed, demolished and otherwise destroyed. Nos the area looks like a vast slum.The beaches have been turned into smuggling zones for arms and are not fit for tourists. Any territory ceded by Israel to these slobs will take on the same appearance within months.
The “Palestinians” have no regard for others no less than themselves. The only ones who have a luxurious lifestyle are the leadership of the asylum who milk money from their citizens and from world governments.
