Sarah Palin Steps Out for an NBA Game, Dons Chick-Fil-A T-Shirt

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took in an NBA game Friday with a not-so-subtle show of support for Chick-fil-A.

Palin watched the Phoenix Suns take on the Minnesota Timberwolves but instead of sporting the Suns’ purple and orange, she opted for a red T-shirt with the fast food chain’s logo.

Palin first showed her support for Chick-fil-A last summer after it was embroiled in controversy over its company president’s support for traditional marriage: she posted a photo of herself and husband Todd standing at a Chick-fil-A counter holding their bags of food.

The game was less than a week after Palin spoke to activists at the Conservative Political Action Conference and drank from a Big Gulp onstage.

I think Sarah Palin’s not-so-subtle message is “do not comply.” She is calling for civil disobedience. I hope you Americans listen to the call.

Right on. It’s doubtful that when the SHTF that DHS will be spending too much time in Alaska. They, undoubtedly, will resist. Now we have to deal with the 8 other “nations we’ve got in the lower 48. Northeast, Southeast, Deep South, Middle America, Southwest, West, North, and Northwest. All different cultures, except for the south and SW, most are pussified (like most of NJ). lEven Floorida is turning “blue”.

That is just a weird observation in my view. I would suggest that she is making fun of Mayor Bloomberg and his ridiculous mandates to take away individual choice and thought. He thinks that the Government is in a better position to dictate how people should live their lives.

What’s really amazing is that 10 or 20 years ago, Chick-Fil-A would have been a non-event. They would have been considered “normal”. However, the “chosen people” have spent the last 10 years bombarding the public on TV and media that gays are just like you and me. They spent the last 10 years on TV shows, especially reality TV shows, throwing gays in the mix. If one didn’t know better, one would think gays are 30% to 40% of the population. The “chosen people” have worked very hard the past 10 years to “nudge” the population to not only accept mentally ill gays, but to embrace them and demand they get married. Now, not accepting gay marriage is considered abnormal. Chick-Fil-A is now considered a deviant company because they don’t embrace gays. Mission accomplished by the “chosen people” and the media they control.

@Obama_Sham If you really think Sarah Palin looks good in this picture, you are the one who needs new glasses. I’m calling Sarah Palin what she is, an opportunist. Tell me exactly what she has done other than to cost John McCain the election. Oh wait, make tons of money feeding the angry mob cheap political phrases and in this case lame political/social statements. I actually agree with protecting the definition of the term marriage and don’t think it should be applied to same sex couples. But again I submit that while you cheer that she is doing something patriotic or courageous by wearing the T shirt, I bet that she was paid or solicited money to do it. And by the way even the porn actress who played her in who’s banging palin, looked better. Even though they both have had augmentation.

      That’s right.

She refuses to be somebody’s idea of what she should be. A gal who can take care of herself, even in the wilds of Alaskan wilderness, but also a hot gramma, who doesn’t do “politically correct.” She stands for no abortion and stood behind her daughter when she chose to give life. She chose, herself, to give life, although her own youngest baby was going to have problems.

Yet she looks good in a T-shirt and can debate the best of em’

She is better looking than a lot of hollywood actresses who have had “work” done on their faces and bodies, but she doesn’t sell it. She is an anomaly.

They can’t put her in a cultural box, with a sign on it, her so they just spew hatred and mock.

Face it. That is what drives people nuts about her. She doesn’t fall into any well-defined female role or cultural icon.

She’s a ridiculous valley girl type caricature of a conservative… we accuse the left of having nothing more than talking points in their arguments, but Sarah gets a pass for being the talking points queen. ….and this is the best you can find?
I’m from the front range of the Rockies, ALL women wear jeans and t-shirts – along with a ball cap since the wind can blow the hair off your head. Some wear running shoes, some wear boots. Some of the young women should wear clothing a few sizes larger. But we are Libertarians, and believe in live, and let live.
To the point: don’t criticize what you have little or no knowledge of, especially since the rules of ‘dressing your age’ (whatever that is) is simply an effort to control another person’s behavior…..a specialty of the rabid liberal left, ya?
