Sarah Palin Steps Out for an NBA Game, Dons Chick-Fil-A T-Shirt

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took in an NBA game Friday with a not-so-subtle show of support for Chick-fil-A.

Palin watched the Phoenix Suns take on the Minnesota Timberwolves but instead of sporting the Suns’ purple and orange, she opted for a red T-shirt with the fast food chain’s logo.

Palin first showed her support for Chick-fil-A last summer after it was embroiled in controversy over its company president’s support for traditional marriage: she posted a photo of herself and husband Todd standing at a Chick-fil-A counter holding their bags of food.

The game was less than a week after Palin spoke to activists at the Conservative Political Action Conference and drank from a Big Gulp onstage.

Sorry but i have to laugh at those of you that think she could run successfully for any position anywhere. Why did she get trounced in the election and why do you find it ok for her to leave her governorship halfway through it. If she is the patriot you claim she is why did she leave? And to do what? A reality show. A fox news contributor? Those are more important than representing Alaska as their governor and voice to further the betterment of their lives. What a joke.

Well laugh away. I was not in favor of her not serving out her Govern ship. That decision has hurt her but from my understanding she was being sued left and right and decided to leave for the costs associated with it.

Liz Taylor Speaks (from the grave):

“Now listen, my little pretties. my darlings. Us women with chutzpah and sexy looks and bosoms, and well those of us, who didn’t fit the prescribed “idea” of what a “political wife” was supposed to be, well, I married that Senator from Virginia, John Warner, (1979-2009) and well, THAT didn’t go so well my darlings. You cannot both be Beautiful and Sexy and a Politician or HIS WIFE and be admired. That is so true. When I was John’s wife back in 1976 to 1982, well, darlings, I was HORRIBLY maligned and snickered at. To the point where 6 little years later I got ANOTHER Divorce! Can you imagine? I was just so mortified. But, when I was 12 I starred in a motion picture film named, “National Velve” and that is where I developed my life long habit of getting back up on the horse after each matrimonial fall. In 1991 I married Larry Fortensky. Oh what a disaster that was! Then I stopped getting back up on that dam horse. It was nothing but a curse! Oh marriage and politics was not my forte little darlings. Not at all. After all that I just hung out with Michael Jackson because he was so gay….I mean….so safe for me. Well, my little pretties, my little darlings, remember: You cannot be sexy and THIN and be in politics. They HATED me and I can see they HATE that little Sarah Palin. I think I am beginning to HATE her a little myself. Oh well. I am dead. It doesn’t really matter if I am jealous of someone from the grave.

That Chick-Fil-A t-shirt fits her nicely, I gotta admit. I have no issues there. She’s hot, that’s for certain. And I have to admit she gives a great speech.

Now, as a Democrat though, I have to wonder about her appeal otherwise. As Karl Rove pointed out, she quit her job a Governor of Alaska. Why? Because her political enemies were coming after her. I’m sorry folks but that’s just hardball politics. I don’t like it anymore than you, but that is the lot you draw when you get into politics. Apart from the legitimacy of the charges made against her, lot’s of governors and plenty of other politicians (hello!) have taken that kind of heat without quitting.

But she quit. The kitchen got too hot. If she knew the attacks were false she would have beat them back if she had any grit. If she had any grit she’d have fought back even if there was some truth to them. But she quit. And claimed she did it for the good of Alaska. Which was probably correct but it wasn’t for the good of Alaska, it was good for Sarah Palin. She’s too thinned to be in office or she wouldn’t have quite.

So, she’s against gay marriage and against limiting the size of sodas a place can sell. Good for her. I’m against her taking donations for SarahPac, pretending she’s running for President, and using that money to support her lifestyle. At the expense of the suckers.

I like how you stick to the talking points of your boss.

Fact is she as mayor took at tiny little town and made it the fastest growing in the 50 states with the highest private investment per capita. After that she became the chief of energy in Alaska which means she along with the Texas land commissioner were the two most influential energy officials in the United States. Yes the includes secretary of energy. Yes that is we’re she took down some of the most corrupt DC influenced energy officials in the west. It was then the new sheriff became governor.

When the power of the left elite bought homes surrounding her and started the dredging of the proverbial swamps did the problems start. Rather than have Alaskans pay for all the legal fees brought on the citizens by DC thugs she realized her power laid elsewhere.

      Read a book sometime.

Oh and in your move on.org briefing notes they probably left out the fact she was a college basketball point guard. That means she is actually a sports athlete that is at a game for the love of the game.

3-Blue, sorry about the double post. I thought my browser locked up so I closed it and re-posted. And I apologize for my grammar and misspellings. Being the intelligent person you are, I understand how that might effect your view of the ideas I express. I should probably reread my posts before I hit the reply button.

But no, I don’t “just get sick of hearing [my]rself spout half-truth propaganda?” I would if I viewed my opinions that way. Or statement of fact. For example, it’s a fact the Palin that quit the governorship of Alaska. And I do think that if she had the grit to be in public office she wouldn’t have quit. But that’s just my opinion and the opinion, if I recall correctly, of most Alaskans.

You’re assumption that I’m getting paid to post? I view that as a compliment 3-Blue, that my posts are intelligent and provocative enough that you’d assume I must be getting paid, despite my grammar and spelling. No, I work for a privately owned company and not for posting here, for managing people and solving problems. I won’t talk about compensation. Nor my support for “humanity” rather than people that make 100X what you do.

Apology accepted Meteor. You have been letting it slip of late… Very unprofessional… :) Yeah, of course you don’t view your opinions “that” way. It is the hallmark of smugness and narrow mindedness that your repetitive, scripted pontifications would be seen as immutable. Au contraire, mon ami. There is a universe of concepts which you utterly fail to grasp and that fingers you as a fraud. Everyone here sees right through you for the Troll out of water that you are. You are not fooling a single soul. Therefore, since what you are engaging in is so unnatural, it must be for remuneration. (however small)

Doesn’t it give you pause that the things you say are so quickly perceived as illegitimate? That as hard as it might be for you to grasp, there are many concepts which you simply fail to apprehend and that it is so very easy for even the lowliest peasant such as myself to finger you as a plant? If I were you, I’d be intrigued and of course very curious that things of the mind and spirit were occurring all around me that I was simply oblivious to. But of course someone as sure of him as you project yourself to be would have no intellectual curiosity about that. Well, that’s ok because your lack of intellectual curiosity and adventurism guarantees that you will fail at converting or even swaying a single soul on these boards. So why exactly are you here, anyhow?

You perceive Palin the way you want to and the way your ‘groupthink’ forces you to, period. Yet there are swirling universes of ‘facts’, briefly outlined here by many posters that don’t fit your preconceived notions which go completely unnoticed and unacknowledged by you. So you are not even close to the honest person you claim to be. Sorry but you are in fact extremely partisan and narrow minded, and thus, an easy mark.

Also, I’m sorry if you misunderstand me. But it is not a complement that I think you are being paid for your propaganda. In fact, I see it as a total waste of talent. A thankless, empty job akin to an artist wasting his life in graphics for a corporation. But then, you are a manager. A job which is typically filled mostly with useless busy work people despised by the managed and desperate to prove their relevance. I don’t know you so for all I know you could be the exception. But if so, why are you here harassing the good people of the Blaze instead of harassing those you manage and creating more problems for them? And not that I think what you do is art either. What you do here on the Blaze is simply a form of disrespect and arrogance. Look inside. You know it’s true.

Also, maybe I’m oblivious but I completely fail to see what in the world the color blue might possibly have to do with being childless, which I am not, by the way. My moniker has a hidden and significant meaning for me. I enjoy enigmas and symbolism. Life is full of them.

I’m happy Sarah is making money; however, she is not in the political arena, yet – mostly , the graft exhibited has come from politicians in office. And, she served her State honorably.

And ain’t it virtually always true that Conservative women are much prettier and ‘naturally’ sexier than knobby ol’ Liberal witches? That does say a lot, does it not?

Yeah, kinda like most of you here perceive her and everything else in the world through the opinions and direction of Glenn Beck.

RNM: You Lefties are the biggest followers in the world. You people download how you are supposed to think from your puppet masters in the propaganda media and the DNC then regurgitate it to the annoyance and disgust of everyone around. The only ones who don’t see that you are all saying the exact same stupid things are you blind followers yourselves.

We are on the other hand are a loose congregation of self reliant and independent people who congregate in places like this to find solace in each other from low life, brainwashed morons like you who collectively are ruining this once great country. You people couldn’t wipe your asses or blow your own noses without consensus. If you tried, you’d be slapped down violently by your own group think police. Happens all the time too by the way. Just try to differ from the standard B.S. leftie line and see what happens to you. But you won’t because 99% of you are abject cowards too. You people are just as mean and nasty to dissenters within your own ranks as you are to ‘US’, your perceived enemies. In other words, your entire outlook on life is ridiculous, stupid, self destructive, narrow minded, without principle, low, nasty and simply sucks. But you all suck the same way so you erroneously think it is still all right and good to suck. Well, suck-on sister.

@3-Blue… huh, so now I’m a leftist lackey for the DNC? Actually I’m a Libertarian… a TRUE Libertarian. It’s so funny to me how anyone who opposes the great and powerful Beck is immediately discredited as a left-wing socialist. Well, you got it wrong buddy. I couldn’t be further from that. And you want to say I can’t make a decision without consensus… what say you of Glenn’s newfound attempt to woo Libertarians simply because he needs a ratings boost, since so many people have dropped from listening, so fatigued by the incessant drumbeat of hopelessness and despair that have been a dominant theme in his “predictions” of doom for this country for the past 5 years. Talk about querying for a consensus… he realizes he’d be out of a job if he didn’t try jumping on the Libertarian bandwagon. It’s amazing that he’d try something like that after endorsing somebody like Romney for POTUS and basically belittling and discrediting Paul the whole time.

I don’t even know what you’re talking about. I never mentioned Glenn’s name even once. Nor have I ever quoted him. I don’t even follow his line very much since he left Fox. This is just a nice place to talk to Conservatives. (mostly:) But you on the other hand seem to be pretty obsessed with Glenn Beck. Sounds like a lot of projection going on to me. Better look in the mirror.

I used to think of myself as Libertarian, but of late people like you have been giving the movement a bad name, causing me to rethink. You folks are starting to sound like Demon-crat lite, which is a shame because Libertarian concepts need to spread and become more accepted. When you and your negative attitude make it so easy to demonize you, you hurt the whole movement.
