An unidentified U.S. Marine sergeant from Camp Pendleton was caught on camera screaming profanities and making violent threats during a fit of rage that was sparked by a minor traffic accident.
The main victim of the Marine’s rage was a driver who allegedly rear-ended his vehicle. The vehicle’s passenger, who is reportedly a wounded Marine paralyzed from the waist down, captured video of the incident.
“Get the f**k out of your truck!” the Marine screamed. “Get the f**k out so I can beat your a*s!”

The two people at the receiving end of the profane and threatening tirade told KGTV-TV that they are traumatized by the incident.
More from KGTV-TV:
While the two people who were in the truck were too traumatized to speak with 10News, their good friend would. That friend stresses that the wounded Marine was not the one who posted the video online.
“To go into such a fit – unprovoked – it’s pretty scary,” said the friend, was only identified as “Lisa.”
She wanted her true identity concealed because she is the one who sent the link of the video to 10News.
Lisa told 10News she sent the video in after she was outraged about how it all went down.
“He cut them off and apparently he kept brake-checking them,” said Lisa. “He would slam on his brakes abruptly. They hit into the back of him on the third time.”
Once officials learned of the road rage incident, the Marine responsible was detained and cited for communicating a threat. He is reportedly a Purple Heart recipient and may be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), according to his friends who are defending him on the web.
Psychologist Dr. Michael Mantell told the station that he may have what is called “intermittent explosive disorder.”
“PTSD is never a defense or an excuse,” Mantell explained. “It may be an explanation.”
