A French-Canadian news anchor suffered an unfortunately-timed nosebleed during a recent newscast.

Alexis De Lancer was in the process of signing off when a steady stream of blood started to trickle out of his nose. He tried to wipe it away but the blood kept coming; ultimately, he sat for several seconds as the blood continued to run before the camera cut away.

As Gawker noted, De Lancer told concerned Twitter users he was fine, he didn’t know what caused the bleed but that it was certainly “bad timing.”
