Without giving too much away, Thor revealed the basic premise of his new book, which involves the existence of a super-secret organization that could potentially be more powerful than even the U.S. government.
“I learned about something that’s been going on in this country for 100 years that affects you, affects me, affects everyone watching every single day,” he said. “There’s an organization more secretive than the NSA, CIA, and some people claim more powerful than the United States government itself.”
“That’s a scary thought,” said Beck’s fill-in host Tara Setmayer, communications director for Rep. Dana Rohrbacher (R-Calif.).
“It really is,” Thor agreed.
Now, that wouldn’t be nearly as scary if Thor didn’t have a reputation for packing so much truth between the pages of his books that readers can hardly tell the difference between what is real and what is fiction at times.
In fact, Thor’s amazing ability to weave fact and fiction together led Glenn Beck to dub him the king of “faction.”
Thor also talked a little about his experiences so far in Salt Lake City for Beck’s “Man in the Moon.” Watch below via TheBlaze TV:
The author later opened up about the death threats he has received from radical Islamists over his writing. He said Beck even advised him against releasing a previous book, “The Last Patriot,” because he thought it would get him killed.
“Now, Glenn has a really good ability to see over the horizon and thankfully he was wrong on that one,” Thor joked.
“I always say that I have the right to write whatever I want to write and it’s equaled by a right just as powerful, which is your right not to read it,” he added. “Yet we have a certain section of the world that doesn’t want any criticism, doesn’t want any close examination of it. And that’s the radical Islamists — and they don’t like my books.”
