A Canadian woman who can pour tea with her feet, a fire-breathing, German-made dragon that’s considered to be the world’s largest walking robot, and tiny car that is actually street-legal. But wait, there’s more!
The newest entries in the vaunted Guinness Book of World Records have just been announced. Among those recently certified and to be included in the 2014′s encyclopedic list of amazing accomplishments:
- The fastest tightrope-walking dog
- The world’s largest motorcycle
- The lowest limbo-skater
- A man with the largest collection of vacuum cleaners (and he hates cleaning)
None of the four record setters featured in the Guinness press release photo above are from America. However, the U.S. does have a few representatives among this select crew.
Meet ”Happie” the skateboarding goat (honored for riding a skateboard 118 feet).
And then there’s Steve Sansweet of California. It’s an understatement to say that Steve is a fan of the Star Wars movies. He has amassed a collection of 300,000 unique Star Wars items, all housed in his home known as “Rancho Obi Wan.”
Wrapping up America’s entries in the new Guinness Book of World Records is Austin Courson’s “smallest road-worthy car.” The Arizona man has built a street-legal, tiny car capable of hitting 40mph. How tiny is it? Very! Standing 25 inches tall, 25 3/4 inches wide and barely more than 4 feet long, it’s difficult to image how someone could get inside and drive the car on the road. Thankfully, we have video proving that it can be done.
