Texas Gov. Rick Perry Loses Big Bet to La. Gov. Bobby Jindal – Here’s What He Owes

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal challenged fellow Republican Gov. Rick Perry, of Texas, to a high stakes bet over LSU’s highly anticipated matchup against Texas A&M on Saturday. But it wasn’t for money.

Both governor’s agreed to supply 100 pounds of food to a food bank of the winner’s choice. Jindal offered to put up 100 pounds of Louisiana seafood while Perry offered to donate 100 pounds of Texas brisket pending the outcome of the football game.

LSU, ranked 22nd in the nation, ended up dominating the 12th-ranked Aggies in a 34-10 upset victory.
