A field in British Columbia was blanketed in white, but it wasn’t snow — at least not of the precipitation variety.
It was covered in snow geese.
According to the footage posted to YouTube, the event occurred last week when the huge flock of snow geese decided to take a break from their migration and settled on a field in Richmond, leaving little green of the grass showing.
Deciding their rest was done, the geese begin to take off in a wave, creating what the YouTuber Maikel Parets called a “geese tsunami.”
“Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God,” the man filming repeated as the flock took off over his head.
