1. To begin with, the Department of Health and Human Services actually sponsored a Healthy Young America Video Contest “to mobilize young people to help educate and inform one another about the Affordable Care Act.”

2. There are victors in a handful of categories, but the video HHS chose as the overall Grand Prize winner is a song titled “Forget about the Price Tag.” That’s correct: The federal government’s top song encourages us to take our minds off that pesky money issue.

3. Last but not least is the song itself. The winning crooner, one Erin McDonald, turns in a painfully cheesy performance that’s likely to warm the musical hearts of only the most ardent Obamacare supporters…and maybe fans of “The Lawrence Welk Show.”
