WKMG-TV reported the unnamed parent of a Southwest Middle School student in Orlando, Fla., is now being investigated with the potential for criminal charges.

It is unclear when exactly the incident occurred or what spurred the chaos on the bus, but the driver’s call to the school’s dispatcher said students were “totally out of control” inside the bus. According to WKMG, the driver repeatedly asked students to stop screaming and jumping on seats. When they didn’t, he pulled over.

“The parents show up at that place and they broke the windows on the bus, so we need law enforcement ASAP,” the bus driver told the dispatcher.

“They’re attacking the bus,” the driver said of the parents.

According to a police report, one parent demanded his daughter be let go, but following school policy, the bus driver refused, waiting for police, who had already been called due the rowdy students. The father ended up punching through the driver’s side window, WKMG reported.

The bus driver at this point called 911 directly.

“One of the people apparently who broke the window pulled one of the students out by the window and [it's not known] where they went,” the bus driver said, according to WKGM.
