The Letter Rick Harrison of ‘Pawn Stars’ Wrote to Little Boy With Autism Could Make You an Instant Fan of the Show

Rick Harrison, the star of the hit reality TV series “Pawn Stars,” recently wrote a heartwarming letter to a young boy with autism who tried to sell his Gameboy to the Las Vegas shop for $30.

The note was first posted on Reddit on Wednesday and its authenticity was confirmed by a spokesperson on Friday, the Huffington Post reports.

Reddit user MrsLeslie provided the note as well as an account of what the boy’s mom revealed to the “Pawn Stars” crew:

Little J is a huge fan of ‘Pawn Stars,’ and he talks about the show incessantly. I encouraged him to write them a letter, which he did, and he offered to sell his Gameboy to them for $30. I added a cover letter describing J and his autism — and although I told them that I didn’t expect them to actually buy his Gameboy, I did ask if they could at least reply.

The response “J” got back was a hand-signed letter from Harrison himself, which included $30 and the boy’s Gameboy.
