A fugitive in Pennsylvania gave police a hand in apprehending him on Monday night when he shared the Freeland Police Department’s status about him being a wanted criminal facing an aggravated assault charge and other charges. Officers had Anthony James Lescowitch in handcuffs just 45 minutes later.

After realizing Lescowitch, 35, had shared the police department’s status, an officer then pretended to be an “attractive woman” and messaged the fugitive, the Associated Press reports. Though he refused an offer to get a drink, Lescowitch did agree to smoke a cigarette with the fictitious woman.

The two agreed on a spot to meet and, when he arrived, Lescowitch was greeted by the boys in blue.

After the arrest, police posted this message: “CAPTURED!!!!!! SHARES OUR STATUS ON FACEBOOK ABOUT HIMSELF, CAPTURED 45 MINUTES LATER.”

Lescowitch, of Drifton, remained in the Luzerne County Jail Tuesday. Court records don’t list a defense attorney for him, but show he faces a preliminary hearing Jan. 29 on charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident July 14.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
