The pro-Assad Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) seemingly hacked CNN’s official Twitter account on Thursday. The group used the platform to bash President Barack Obama as the “lord of terror” and claim the CIA funds and arms al Qaeda.

Just before 6 p.m. ET, the SEA declared: “Syrian Electronic Army Was Here… Stop lying… All your reports are fake!”

A cached version posted by @rosswernej on Twitter (via ZeroHedge) of CNN’s “politicalticker” blog also showed a breach as well (via @rosswernej. The page has since been deleted.
