In a new music video uploaded to YouTube Thursday, a rapper calling himself “IceJJFish” performs his single “On the Floor” — and it’s gone viral for obvious reasons.

While the video could be an Internet hoax aimed at simply attracting a lot of attention to launch a viral hit, a scan of the young artist’s work reveals he has produced many similar tracks that seem to suggest this is the real thing.

E! Entertainment also concluded that they think the music is authentic.

“After watching other examples of Mr. Fish’s work, we think it’s legit,” an article on the gossip news website said. “What you’re looking at in that video seems to be a very confident young man with a voice like an angel. An angel that sings almost exclusively in falsetto and leaps wildly up and down what appears to be an undiscovered key signature.”

Since it was uploaded to YouTube, the video, produced by hip-hop website ThatRaw.com, has already achieved more than 365,000 views and been met with very mixed reviews.
