An Ohio man purportedly upset about a check still in the mail vented his frustration in an unorthodox, extreme way.
Police say Robert Kiefer, 25, attacked a 56-year-old U.S. Postal Service worker Saturday afternoon, squirting him with pepper spray and repeatedly biting his leg, according to the Akron Beacon Journal Online.
Officers responding to the scene reportedly discovered a small crowd surrounding the dueling men around 3:30 p.m.
When police attempted to end the fight, Kiefer reportedly resisted, struggling with an officer attempting to place him in handcuffs.
Kiefer told authorities he was upset because he did not receive a check that he was expecting to be delivered, according to the Journal Online. He was booked on a $1,000 bond for misdemeanor charges of assault and resisting arrest.
The unidentified 56-year-old postal worker was treated by paramedics at the scene for three bite wounds and minor scrapes to his knee, police said.
