You can’t simulate the rush of firing a rifle through video, but these guys captured some of the shock value in slow motion.

Using an amazing camera that captured 18,000 frames per second, Gavin and Dan, “The Slow Mo Guys,” uploaded an ultra-sharp video of a fully automatic M4 rifle.

The high-definition camera produces images that can be viewed 720 times slower than real life. The slow-motion duo chose to focus in on the firing mechanism rather than the bullets to ensure more of the frame maintained clear definition, but you can still see embers glowing on the casings.
