Police in Illinois say a local man and his date refused to pay a cab fare earlier this month — even after the two had allegedly had sex in the back of the taxi.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Orland Park police said the man and his date engaged in sexual activity in the back of the cab driver’s vehicle on Feb. 9, then told him they couldn’t pay the $83 fare.

The cab driver reportedly said the two had sex in his car after picking them up outside a bar.

Officers responding to the scene reportedly found clothes “strewn throughout the taxi” and two intoxicated, incoherent passengers.

Intimidated by the police response, the 27-year-old man used his mother’s credit card to pay the fare, the Tribune reported. Police reportedly said he left the 31-year-old to find her own way home.
