Video aired by a local ABC affiliate in New York Monday night appears to show multiple individuals simply standing by and watching as a bus driver is savagely beaten by a woman because she allegedly missed her stop.

Throughout the short video, recorded by passenger Anthony McLaughlin on his iPhone, around a dozen or so individuals remain idle as a woman viscously attacks an N6X bus driver.

At no point in the aired video is a passenger seen actively trying to separate the two.

McLaughlin told WABC-TV that the attacker was upset because the driver missed her stop.

“She attacked her, she threw punches,” he said.

“…she started attacking her, it was kind of crazy.”

“I used my iPhone [to record],” McLaughlin added. “I knew it was going to pop off because she said when she stopped she was going to hit her. And, she started attacking her, it was kind of crazy.”

After the altercation, the angry passenger, accompanied by a little girl, just walked off the bus, according to WABC. She is currently being sought by police.

The driver then reportedly called for help, cleared the bus and was taken to a local hospital.
