A Jordanian television program descended into a brawl between the panelists earlier this month during a conversation about Syrian President Bashar Al Assad.

“I will use you to mop the floor!” Mohammad Sharif-al Jayousi bellowed before standing up and advancing on his adversary, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

Jayousi’s opponent, lawyer Musa al-Abdallat, grabbed his papers and held them protectively in front of himself like a shield.

“Who the hell are you to curse others?” he demanded, trying to position the host between himself and the irate political commentator.

But it was to no avail. Soon the two moved off camera, and based on the noise it seems as though they engaged in fisticuffs.

“Lights, Camera, Punch…” Al Arabiya wrote.
