Raw video captured from a Monday incident shows the moments two individuals fleeing Australian police made a desperate decision and veered off-road. How off-road? How about the driver decided to ditch the pavement and begin driving on the sidewalk in the attempt to evade authorities.

Dramatic images showed the red vehicle, being followed by police, ignore traffic laws and use the neighborhood sidewalk as a road.

Eventually, the chase concludes when the passenger and driver jump out of the still moving car and attempt to outrun authorities on foot.

According to the Brisbane Times, both men where nabbed by cops. One squad car was damaged in the pursuit.

Authorities believe the car was stolen.
