Multimedia personality Glenn Beck is a man of many ideas. Speaking with Flipboard, a tool that allows you to create your own personal magazine by curating, collecting and sharing the news you care about, Beck said that in many ways, it is his never-ending stream of ideas that continues to make him passionate about his work.
“Some of the guys who work for me have been my friends for thirty years, and we joke about it all the time,” he said. “When I was driving my beat-up 1971 Thunderbird and counting the pennies to put enough gas in the tank to make that beast run, I would say, ‘Imagine what we could do, if… .’ And now we’re here.”
“My imagination doesn’t take a day off, and that’s a good thing, because now we can create it,” he added. “Now we can do those things.”
When asked what he is most proud of from his storied career, Beck smiled and said simply: “I don’t think I’ve created it yet.”

To coincide with Beck’s interview this week, Flipboard also released “TheBlaze on Faith,” a weekly resource for faith-themed news.
“TheBlaze on Faith” is curated by TheBlaze’s faith editor Billy Hallowell, and is updated once a week. Another vehicle to get TheBlaze content, the magazine includes significant and inspiring faith stories from TheBlaze, in addition to culture and faith stories from other outlets.
Beck emphasized during his interview with Flipboard that he has no interest in building a media organization identical to the others in existence. Rather, Beck said he is building a platform that has “a different point of view, that doesn’t look at things as left and right but right and wrong, and certainly doesn’t see Republican and Democrat as the box that we have to play in.”
